A wonderful entry-level resort. The island is incredibly beautiful and quite large by Maldivian standards. They pay great attention to cleanliness and maintenance. The renovated villas are nicely done. A great choice if you know that you are not expecting a top-notch luxury resort.

The biggest disadvantages of the island stem from its size. You can't really offer luxury at this scale the number of guests. The private sphere is minimal, no matter which villa you choose. Unfortunately, restaurants are crowded at every meal. Most of the staff are super nice, but there were some who behaved quite condescendingly with the guests. The transfer to the island is not very convenient. Due to long waits and mass organization, almost missed our flight in Malé on a way back. Despite all its drawbacks, it was a great choice at this price.

We spent 12 beautiful days in Villa Resort in January 2024 and it was one of the nicest holidays ever. The accommodation in completely renovated and newly furnitured Lagoon Beach Villa (nr. 115) was very comfortable, with amazing services of housekeeping team (namely Mr. Ahunaf) with excellent daily morning and evening cleaning and minibar replenishment. The food in the restaurant was also excellent with many different tastes every day (including daily fish/sea foods). There is absolutely nothing to complain about chefs and the service, who were really great. The waiter, Mr. Aswar, who took care about us, is having amazing memory of the guests' habits and their tastes.... we were just sitting at the table and the fresh juice was already on its way. We also used the services of the diving centre with really friendly and helpful crew. Samuel was guiding all dives safely and locations were nicely chosen.

I did only 9 dives there, in case of friendlier pricing, I would make more.

Big island, a lot of activities for adults and kids. Big sport center. Very big kids club. Renovated rooms are nice and comfortable. Cleaning is perfect. Food is not extraordinary and can be always better but there is a good selection of various meals. Shark and stingray feeding every day. There is also manta which lives near Italian restaurant close to Reception - must see! There are some places where you can snorkels with variety of fishes, but certainly it is not comparable to Red Sea experience. Transfer is arranged well and smoothly

Hotel is quite old and some of facilities look outdated (starting from Reception). A la carte restaurants are all chargeable, even if you are with all inclusive package (only 1 free visit if you stay more than 6 days with all inclusive). Number of bicycles is very limited and their condition is poor. Limited selection of food for kids, no special kids corner. The territory close to villas is super dark in the evenings, very poor lighting

The variety of facilities was great, as this is the biggest island/resort in whole Maldives they took every advantage of it. You have opportunities to engage in many sports activities (tennis, basketball, golf, table tennis etc.), as well as in different kind of watersports activities (kano, sea bob, flyboard, jet ski, windsurf, kitesurf etc.). You can also rent a bike (indeed you need it) to see all parts of the resort. We have stayed 5 days and never get bored. If you want there are also many beach alternatives that you can enjoy silence. All staff are very friendly, helpful and smiling always.

- The number of bikes are not enough, we had to wait for 2 days to get one. - Breakfast ends at 10:00, should be at least half an hour extended. - Wifi is available only in limited parts of the resort, would be good to have internet in more areas of the island.

Crystal clear water, pool beach villa, island layout, friendly staff. It's amazing to walk near the tip of the island.

Transfer time is too long both ways - we wasted 6 hours each way in waiting time and transfers. Not enough directions to walk around the island. Seems like a lifeguards controller tower not available. Mosquitoes in the room.

Unbelievable establishment with 5 star service all round. Rooms are spotless. Food is delicious. The Spa is the best we have ever experienced. Nothing can prepare you for those white beaches and turquoise waters. Postcard stuff.

Resort is beautiful. We were very pleased with the service. All employees are very kind and friendly. They gave us helpful information. I will especially mention: Ibrahim, who welcomed us, Rachel and Zakir from the restaurant, Zeina from coffee shop, barbecue chef...Also everything was very clean. Food is tasty, and they have a variety of dishes. There are a lot of activities that you can enjoy on the island.

It was like heaven from the very beginning. The staff was extra friendly and helpful, they've solved all the issues we had immediately. The food was various and plenty. The nature was heavenly and clean. I recommend taking all-inclusive option for best experience.

Amazing place to stay at! There are a lot of activities for any taste! Especially, we liked very much the 24/7 beach bar.

More premium sea food would be great to have!
