I thought the room was well designed and thoughtfully appointed. Bed was comfy, though the sheets, pillows and quilt cover were all old. Those could surely be replaced. Nice bathroom, shower with ample towels. It was great that the inn provided beach towels, chairs and beach badges which had to be purchased but $$ was returned upon return of badge. Great breakfast just down the block from the Carisbrooke. Loved that coffee, water, chocolate chip cookies were available in the entry living room. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Bedding was old and should be replaced.

The breakfast was excellent. I really enjoyed the blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries. My husband enjoyed his French toast with a side of fruit. The service at the bed and breakfast was excellent. They have excellent instructions for how to check in, bring your things in, grab your room key and parking. The house is a few feet from the boardwalk! It was nice to have our morning cofee and walk out to the boardwalk in the morning. The room was clean with plenty of towels and toiletries included. Also had a quaint back porch area. We enjoyed sitting on the porch connected to our room, taking in the fresh air and talking. The house had its own living room section with complimentary water, tea and coffee. They also had a jar of homemade chocolate chip cookies my husband loved! It was an old style Victorian type of home...beautiful decor and we had a great time!

It was very quiet and clean. I loved the breakfasts and ice cream. Close proximity to the beach.

Nothing. I just wasn’t prepared to be on top floor so i had to reduce my luggage to a smaller to go bag at the street so I wasn’t lifting heavy larger luggage upstairs. This stay was part of a larger trip so I had a large suitcase for multiple stays between PA and the Jersey Shore. Not thinking about that was my fault because I was so busy before I traveled.

Carisbrooke Inn is, without a doubt, my favorite inn at the shore. Maybe anywhere, truthfully! Everything is exceptional ... rooms, amenities, the great room with homemade cookies/coffee/tea, ice cream, and a breakfast not to be believed. John and Agnes have created a warm, welcoming and engaging environment!

The location is right near a great beach. The place has beach chairs and towels, outside rinse off, parking about a block away, breakfast is ala carte and free at the restaurant next door.

It is an old facility with old furniture. Square footage of the room was just adequate.

perfect b&b, few minutes walk to the boardwalk. balcony outside which was lovely to sit at night. breakfast was provided by the cafe at the corner, which was excellent. room was a decent size. there is also a communal fridge and cookies were left for residents in the morning, which was a lovely touch.

bathroom was a bit small.

Great location near beach and main street. Loved that breakfast and ice-cream treat were included. The baked goods and coffee station were wonderful and tge shared sitting area was spacious, charming and clean. Appreciated being able to borrow beach chairs and tags. Also appreciated the ease of late check in and having a parking space.

Didn't see on-site staff.

It is a slightly older property, with the initial feel of the bed and breakfast phenomenon of some years ago. Nice host and hostess. Comfortable and quiet room. Great breakfast.

Do not know what the neighborhood is like in high summer season. But it is very close to the boardwalk (100 yards) and beach (110 yards!).

The owner provided an excellent breakfast at his cafe each day. The location of the Inn was terrific for beach access.

The room was very outdated, some charm but still could use an upgrade.

We had a spacious room on the top floor, The bed was very comfortable, and the linens were high quality. Excellent bathroom and shower. We were a little surprised that the included breakfast was not served in the inn, but in a cafe owned by the same people just a half block away. Breakfast was very good. The TV wasn't functioning properly, but the staff responded is less than five minutes and fixed the problem.
