We booked for two adults, the room meant for 4. It was cute. The bed was in a room by itself. Upon entering, you step into a space with a sofa, coffee table, fridge, kitchenette with real coffee pot, microwave and a toaster oven! It was super clean. The front desk, Phyllis, helped us checking. It was a last minute booking because our other hotel had a plumbing problem and could not let us stay there. This place had a pool but it was closed at this time of the year. The bathroom was a real tub, shower. It kinda felt really comfortable. Fell asleep immediately. Bed was comfy. They were generous with towels, unlike some Airbnbs I've been to. It was a great location too. About 5 minutes walk to the boardwalk. We plan on returning. The only bad thing was the wall near our bed looked like it was crumbling and need a fresh spackle job. The bedsheets were crisp white cotton. No complaints. Quiet. Clean. Friendly.

The bedroom wall needs attention.

The motel was in a nice location, close to the boardwalk. Bed was very firm and shower was hot. The room was clean and had all the essentials. Fridge, stovetop, microwave, coffee pot (coffee),toaster, silverware hairdryer.

We arrived early 10am, and while I expected the room to NOT be ready I did not expect the lack of friendliness from the front desk. No eye contact, no smile or friendly greeting. It was obvious she was disgusted I was there. She also said we couldn’t park in the lot until noon even though there were several empty spots. We parked blocks away for $10. Not getting in early or parking in their lot would have been ok if she was just “nice”. Even if she faked it, it would have been nice. I also didn’t like that the shower was so small you can barely reach everything to wash! The tv is in the small sitting area and not in front of the bed.

We stayed in room 9, which was very clean and obviously updated. The kitchenette had a full-sized fridge, which is always a plus! There were several amenities such as napkins, flatware, q tips, room spray, etc that were nice touches. Nice location a block away from the Boardwalk. Also, the staff was very friendly at check in and checkout!

Overall, we really liked the property, but there were a few drawback observed: . First, here were no coverlets or blankets on the bed or for the pull out sofa, just basically throw blankets that were far too small.. In addition, to make room to use the pull out sofa, multiple pieces of furniture had to be moved due to size of room.

I got charged more as for the agreed amount by booking.com. I was told to go back to booking.com by the head office manager daytime. To get my rate or get credit. I don't know why this happened. But now I got a call booking.com to get. Retrieve about $40 from booking.com as per the day manager. But I would still do go back. I would also suggest that the owner of the condominium, get a more raised toilet up to date. I'm disabled veteran ,it was very difficult 🇺🇸♂️⚓

The room I stayed in was nicely decorated, very clean, and comfy. There were plenty of kitchen supplies, plenty of towels, and good black-out shades to keep out the early morning sun. The AC unit was loud but thankfully very cool, plus there were two ceiling fans to keep the air circulating. All in all a great room and I'd book it again. Phyllis at check-in was super friendly and helpful, too.

The mattress was rock hard but at least the bedding was comfortable. The toilet was so close to the wall that it was impossible to sit straight on it! Toaster lever/button was broken so I had to get creative to try to push it down to toast my bagels. These things aren't deal breakers, though.

Everything felt clean and freshly renovated with a delightful nautical beach house aesthetic that made me feel like I was staying in a shore town. Check in and check out were so fast and convenient and the staff were so helpful and nice. Having a free parking spot in a place like Ocean City AND a free beach pass was an absolute necessity that the hotel provided.

There are some spots that make parking a little difficult since the lot is small. The pool was usually crowded so I didn't find time to go in during peak hours, but night swimming is always an option since it's open til 9pm. The shower was great and I loved the removable shower head, but mine was always facing the door which didn't close all the way, so whenever I got out of the shower, my bathroom floor was soaked.

TBH, I didn't expect much more than a worn old motel from the 60s and that it might be less than clean. Ours was a last-minute decision for a one-nighter before summer's end, so I was happy to find ANYTHING at all this close to the beach. Well, I was pleasantly surprised! Our room was pristine--freshly painted, clean as a whistle and super comfortable. Granted, it's old, and if you're looking for something to be meh, you could find it. We slept great, and my pillow was probably the most comfortable one I've had in a motel (or hotel) in a long time. The folks at the front desk were incredibly helpful and accommodating. All in all, it was a great experience at a budget price.

The shower was too small. I've been in bigger showers in campers. But it was clean! Not that I didn't like this, but we learned from a guy in the pool that the property isn't a traditional motel anymore, but a bunch of individually owned rooms and suites. I suspected this, because the decor in our room felt more like a person decorated their beach house. And there were only curtain toppers and venetian blinds.

Great value! Excellent location, nice pool, very clean, and convenience of a kitchen. I took my 6 year old godson with me for 3 days and 2 nights and Sifting Sands had everything we needed. Beach, boardwalk, and water park are only 2 blocks away so we didn't have to drive at all. It's nothing fancy but it's very clean and affordable. I'm planning on returning next summer!

The only thing I didn't like was the shower in the bathroom. It was clean but somewhat dark and dingy. Would have preferred a shower with a tub.

Jean was at the front desk our first evening, and she was phenomenal. She answered our questions and helped me with a room selection I already booked for a future stay. We really enjoyed talking with her! The Sunday afternoon person was super helplful too. Also, the room was cleaned daily, which is a nice plus when you're bringing in sand from the beach each day.

The wifi was a little slow.

As soon as we arrived, the staff was very accommodating. They gave us our beach tags early and allowed us to check into the room earlier than we were supposed to. They gave us tips on where to go on the beach So it was less crowded than the main area and what places to eat at. They went above and beyond to make our stay excellent one. I usually don’t have high expectations for motel, but when I walked into Our room and saw how beautiful it was I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was completely updated.
