I have been staying at Ocean 7 for years, I love it. Conveniently located by the boardwalk and steps away from the beach. Everyone is super friendly and the room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and had all the necessities dishes, silverware, pots, pans, microwave, refrigerator and even dish soap and sponges.

I told the front desk 2x during my stay about the refrigerator not being cold enough and it needed to be defrosted and it was causing a leak on the floor but nothing was done about it. I kindly reminded them at check out so hopefully it would be fixed for the next guest.

The location is top notch, so close to the beach/boardwalk and super clean. It was also great to have a pool at the location, although it was heated at the time and felt more like a bathtub. The beds were comfortable and there was maid service every day to take out the trash and replenish with fresh towels.

The induction stovetop was difficult to cook on (I guess there is a trick???) or the pots supplied were not the correct ones. We used the microwave a lot more than expected. There is no dishwasher, but they did supply a tiny sized soap and sponge. I asked ahead of time about the coffee maker vs. keureg, and we had to go out an buy coffee filters. I think that should be supplied for the price. We left the filters for the next folks!

This is a very nice place to stay. I didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice and many were in it. The staff is extremely pleasant in addition to housekeeping which is rare in other places I have stayed. The location is excellent if you like to go to the boardwalk....literally, steps away!

There are only 2 things that would keep you from booking this hotel. The parking spots are extremely close together. If you have a small car or a SUV crossover, you'll be fine. Any other vehicle would be challenging unless you are lucky enough to get an outer spot. The other reason would be the price. I think overall it is a nice place but more expensive than it should be for what you get.

The hotel is steps from the boardwalk and beach. The rooms were very clean and cutely decorated. The room had some glasses, dishes, utensils and things to clean them with (including a dishwasher). There was a small fridge. Parking and beach tags were included.

Due to there being 2 beds, the bigger bed was right against the AC. The room was right at the pool door (though have to admit, it was not exceptionally noisy, just distracting with people walking by all day). I'd ask for a room higher up next time due to the view (backs of the boardwalk restaurants).

Our flight got delayed and we were going to arrive at 4:30am, the font desk woman I believe her name was Angela or Andrea I'm so sorry I can't remember. She made sure we could get into our room at that hour so we didn't have to sleep in the car. No extra fees or costs. They even had the heat on and the room all set up for us to arrive. We really appreciate all of the kindness we received from them, especially after an exhausting day. We will definitely be coming back. Also the bed was extremely comfortable 😀🙌🏼

This is it the first time we stayed at this property. We are very happy with this property, with the location, when we have the little one to take on the rides and access to everything and easy access on the beach, there is nothing to not be happy with! The pool is refreshing after a day on the beach also!

This time the crew did not come in to clean my room and give me fresh towels. It was very disappointing to come back to the room after a long day on the beach to find it not cleaned up and no towels and I had to go down to the front desk to get my own towels.

The location is perfect! 1 min walk to the boardwalk and about 3 minute walk to where your toes get wet from the ocean. It was well lit at night. 24 hr staff and a cute lobby. They had elevators and luggage carts for easy transport. It was all non smoking which is great, but I still smelled weed at night. The room we stayed in was very modern, and I loved all of the hooks on the walls, they were very convenient! The room had a kitchen with just about everything you need to cook. Utensils, plates, mugs, wine glasses, pots, pans, etc. I also saw a coffee maker, and toaster. The refrigerator wasn’t too small, but the freezer was tiny. It also had a blow dryer.

The pool closed at 6pm, and felt crowded. Housekeepers have an envelope for tips on the table, which is fine…but we never received new towels during our 3 night stay. They came in and changed the garbage, took the dirty towels, but never left new ones. I had to go down to the lobby to get them. They also didn’t make the beds. It’s definitely an underpaid profession, so I get it…but I would’ve been happy just with clean towels. No real views to the ocean from rooms. Lastly, the water pressure wasn’t great and it didn’t get hot, but it wasn’t awful.

As always, the ocean-facing rooms are perfect. This end unit in particular is nicely furnished and lends a very beachy vibe. Loved the tile floor that looks like rustic wood. It's so nice to have a kitchenette in which to prepare meals and there was even a roll of paper towels available. Ocean 7 is just a few steps to the boardwalk, beach, shops, restaurants, and a short drive (or walk) to Acme. The front desk is always friendly and helpful, and the parking is ample. I only wish Ocean 7 was open year round as I love coming down in the winter and early spring.

Coffee/tea cups are tiny. Could use larger mugs, because who doesn't love a nice big cup of caffeine in the morning?! Pillows were flat and not very soft and the bedspreads (dark blue, not like in the pictures), while they appeared to be brand new, were stiff and scratchy. The mattresses were each a different type, neither was super comfortable. I got okay sleep but feel that with such a popular rental property like this, better/more comfortable bedding would be expected. Otherwise all good!

Very clean, from the lobby to the elevator to the suite. Updated facilities, tastefully decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Extra pillows and blanket were provided in the room. Nice kitchenette area with dishes and silverware and stove, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Friendly and helpful staff. Parking on site. Location is a half block to the boardwalk and beach with many businesses within walking distance.

The tub and toilet area was a little tight but manageable.

Can't complain about this one! The location is perfect, the staff was lovely and the room was great! The decor was adorable in the room (with a beach theme, of course!) and there was more than enough room for our group of four to have plenty of space. Everything was clean and the staff was quick in responding to requests. Will definitely return!

There was often quite a wait for the single elevator and the pool felt like the heater was on, but those were small items we could totally live with.
