The room was better than expected. The private bedroom, which had a door leading out to the deck, was great. Although we didn't use the kitchen for the few days we were there, it was good to have that as an option if we had stayed longer. Lastly, the indoor pool was a great perk in the fall. Additionally, our room opened directly into the pool area, which was a great feature—no walking through hallways or riding on elevators in wet bathing suits.

The screen door on the bedroom door to the deck did not close. And when we checked in (Thursday at 8:00pm), no one was at the front desk for 20 minutes. I attempted to call several times, hoping someone would pick up the phone, but that didn't happen. Eventually, we were checked in, but only after the front desk staff person returned from closing the pool.

Location to the beach, the room was very nicely decorated, the staff was very polite and the parking was spacious and out of the weather.

The bed was not very comfortable at all. You could hear a lot of noise from the unit above our room. You could also hear doors slamming down the hall well into the early hours of the morning as well as people's conversations as they walked past your door, it was to the point where my wife and I did not get a lot of sleep. They should think of a way way to pad the door frames to decrease or eliminate the heavy door making contact with the metal doorframe.

Wanted a weekend getaway before summer rolls in. The room was bigger than expected. Nice size dining room that’s open to the living room. Bedroom (which is private and large) and living room both open to a small balcony that overlooks the pool, ( towels at pool ) which can be very hot at times because of the pool being heated ( nice seating areas at pool) . Balcony has a table and 2 chairs . The sofa and a small chair in bedroom open up into beds. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and cooking utensils, minus a spatula . With full fridge/freezer . This is more for a family 2 adults with children , then for 4 adults, but could work . Very clean hotel( believe private residents renting out) friendly staff and a block and half in either direction to boardwalk/shopping . Shops and boards are limited hours in off season . And OC is a dry town so bring your own . Best pizza right at top of block .

Very roomy suite, modern. Well-equipped full kitchen with stove, and microwave. Plenty of dishes, cups, glasses, silverware. Might want to bring a large kettle and a favorite frying pan. Full-sized refrigerator and dishwasher. Excellent location — only a 4-minute walk to the central boardwalk district. We enjoyed the balcony, Very comfortable living room furniture, and nice dining area table that seats a family. We found off-boardwalk good restaurants nearby restaurants. Really enjoyed Ready's Coffee & Lunch (lots of locals eat here--- good breakfast at a good price) on 8th St and Augie's Omelet & Waffle House right down the street on 9th.

The pool was closed for annual maintenance during our stay. Unfortunate timing on our part!

I loved the location and the cleanliness. The room itself was pretty good too. It was clean and spacious enough and had everything you need.

The balcony overlooking the pool was not the best. It's humid sitting out there. It got loud in our room when there were tons of kids in the pool. Really not a big deal at all but worth mentioning for anyone who doesn't want to hear yelling kids. Lol. The pool closes early so it doesn't keep you from sleeping or anything.

Location was excellent - you can walk to the boardwalk and park your car in the garage provided. Room was extremely clean and spacious . Plenty of linens provided.

A suggestion is to include paper towels in the kitchen - couldn’t figure out how to plug in the hair dryer as the plug was put in sideways in between the backsplash - thankfully I had brought my own hair dryer

Spacious suites.. nice and clean. Great location from the beach. About a block and half and you don’t have to cross over any major roads.

The room we got had the balcony in the pool area. It was so hot and steamy. Was a disappointment since we like to sit outside at night. The description said an outdoor area. We didn’t use it except to hang towels to dry.

The property enables you to have more than a hotel room without the commitment of a weekly house rental.

The bed mattress was absolutely horrible. It was lumpy, too soft and sloping toward the edge of the bed. HORRIBLE

The indoor pool was very nice. Location is perfect for getting to the board walk. You don’t need to cross any streets to get there.

Trying to get out of the parking lot can be difficult, but that’s my only thing I disliked. But I can get over that. The hotel is great.

I had a wonderful stay at Watson Regency Resort! The prices are excellent, the accommodations are very comfortable, and the staff is extremely friendly and professional. The entire place is spotless and well-maintained. I was truly impressed and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended!
