All aspects of my stay in the motel were pleasing to me except the workings of the card that was used inplace of a real metal key

All aspects of a stay in a motel were pleasing to me. The only less than positive aspect of my stay was using the card that works as a key. 1. it was awkward and frustrating for me to use because 2. i had difficulty with the direction to slide the card..neither an upward motion nor a downward motion worked for me after five attempts but finally worked after those attempts 3. i could not hear or detect a loud enough sound when the mechanism was receiving the card i was using. 4. i am old school when it comes to that sort of thing; give me a real key and i would be much more pleased with the results i know i would obtain to get the door opened.

Problem with first room's plumbing discovered during check-in. Very responsive manager helped us to immediately switch over to a nice, recently remodeled room. Nice looking pool that we didn't use this time. Our plans changed but we were able to change our reservation from 3 days to two. Good location! Friends with homes in Somers Point and Ocean City were both less than three miles away.

You never know what to expect at an inexpensive motel at the shore, Econo Lodge exceeded expectations!

The room in general was very clean and although we didn't use the swimming pool it appeared clean and well-kept. The staff was responsive and it was very quiet. The location was very convenient to Ocean City.

We stayed for 4 nights. The room was not serviced after the first night and it was inconvenient to have to go to the office and wake the desk clerk to get coffee bags. Once we requested it, however, the room was cleaned and beds made and towels were replaced the rest of the stay. The only issue with the room was that the tub had a slow drain. The office could definitely use updating and painting. A couple of the rooms had plastic chairs on the balcony. It would be an improvement to have a couple for every room.

The room was clean. The beds were comfortable. The property had a clean, well kept pool. The people in the room next door were screaming and fighting like they were coming through the wall. I called the desk, and I don't know what was done or said, but they shut it down very quickly.

WiFi is not available in all rooms

very comfortable room, close to ocean city (10 minutes), clean, well kept. good safe area. Had to call owner or manager a few times with questions that came up through booking.com and no issue or problem, even though one was about a payment that was declined. Very pleasant stay.

The outside of the building was a little run down and didn't match the inside of rooms, no breakfast, but consider those minor.

They were vere friendly and accomodated us with a room on ground level and close to pool when i asked since my granddaughter fractured her tibia prior to trip. Plus since we had 2 little ones they let us use facilities(our room) after checking out in case they had to use potty which has never happened in my 40+ years going to Ocean City. Also the fridge didn't work and we told them and within 10 minutes had a different one. So that being said we already are making plans to return next year with more family members.

Just not enough pillows but we already solved that for next time so easy fix.

We have always gone to the Economy Motel next door for the past few years. We decided to stay here this year for a change because we had a bad experience over there and decided not to return for a while. I was HIGHLY impressed with everything. The gentleman at the desk was super friendly during the check in process. The room was very clean and my family was actually able to sleep peacefully! The air quality was great and the bed was so much more comfortable than the other motel. We took advantage of the lovely pool as well. We will be returning for another mini vacation in August. The super sweet man at the desk said “ once you stay with us, you will always come here”…. Well, he was definitely right!!!

We got a bottom room for easier access to pool for the children. We loved our room. Only thing was, we had a family with about 6 young kids above us that ran around ALL hours of the night .

It was very clean and in good condition. Staff was very friendly. There was a Wawa and 3 restaurants right across the street.

The wifi didn't work unless you were within 3 feet of the router .Our room was on the second story and the cement walkway to get there smelled like someone peed in one spot.

Good location -- very close to Ocean City. The EconoLodge is more affordable than most hotels in Ocean City. The room was clean and quiet. We didn't use the pool, but the seating area around it looked well maintained.

One small thing -- no TV sound. It took my tech savvy husband a good amount of time to get the sound. Maybe written instructions could be placed into the hotel room.
