I loved the staff, they were so welcoming! The atmosphere was so relaxed that the guests just seemed to be chatting with each other like old friends. I particularly loved the history and vintage vibe of the place with little antique pieces placed throughout the common area. The breakfast was no continental "self serve". It was delicious and served hot to your table. I loved this place and would definitely return. And ..oh yes....you can walk to the beach!!

The room in which I stayed very was clean and gave a feeling of airiness which was relaxing. The bathroom was large and comfortable with a rain shower head which I loved. My only regret was that due to the age of the original wooden structure, sound is easily transferred through the wall, and I could hear the sound of someone speaking on the phone in the room next to mine.

I have stayed at the Scarborough Inn several times and it is always a tremendous experience. My favorite part of the inn, aside from the lobby, is the front porch. The owners provide ice cold drinks and snacks and you can sit in a rocking chair on the porch and watch the world go by or talk to other guests. I love it!!! The inn is always clean as a whistle and the staff is very friendly. It has become the my first choice when staying in Ocean City, NJ.

Breakfast was good. I enjoyed the Banana French Toast. There should be a few more Continental choices. Including some breads and muffins.

I definitely did not like the fact that we have to pay for parking on the premises. Guest should be guaranteed a parking spot with no additional cost. After all we are paying a generous rate to stay there. This was the first Hotel I ever paid for parking.

I liked the people that were there. The workers and the tenants. Everyone was very nice. They treated you like family. Also, the food was very good. They have pianos that you can play and record plays around that you can use if you have a record. Chairs on the porch that you can relax on. It was very slow and relaxed.

They confirmed the special request that I requested but it didn't happen. Maybe because I got there early? They told me the room was ready though so idk what happened there.

Beautiful! Everything was stylish, elegant and made sense. I love the bathrooms! Breakfast was perfect and so delicious! The snack times were lovely, and all the lights made the Porch feel so warm and welcoming.

The room size was smaller, but the bed was comfortable and the room was fit beautifully and everything I needed.

The place was so quaint and cozy. My daughter and I loved it. The staff was friendly and they made us feel comfortable like we were in our own homes! Love the history about the place and the rooms were modern and fresh! We will definitely be back and would love to stay there during the holidays as well.

friendly staff, fully stocked items, close to the beach, breakfast included, strong AC in room and comfortable beds. loved that parking and beach passes were included!!

Breakfast could have had bigger portions, and 2 options. I also didn't like that you had to request a "room makeover" every day, instead of housekeeping just coming in automatically.

This is not a standard B&B. The place was modernized,clean, and private,yet decorated in the style one would expect. Nice front porch with about 11 chairs. Staff was very nice.

The parking lot was difficult to get out of because one of the driveways was blocked.

We enjoyed how welcoming and helpful the staff was during our stay! We loved the relaxed summer sultry ambiance, there was fresh fruit, coffee, milk, and cereal products continuously available for us. It was a very short walk to the beach, so we could safely walk to enjoy the sunrise every morning, lobby and wrap-around porch were relaxing and spacious.

The third floor, last room (a bit of a hike on a hot summer day) and the laundry machines were extra cost- I would have liked them to be included with the room rental cost.

Very thoughtful hosts. Our room and the shared living room/porch was tasteful and inviting. We enjoyed visiting on the porch with other guests. Breakfast was terrific.
