What I liked is the location and the parking. Will, the concierge, was sooo nice & friendly. The bed was very comfortable the hot shower was GREAT!!

What I didn't like is the kitchenette was in a closet where you hang your clothes. The iron board, iron ALL was in this closet w/the the little refrigerator. OMG I had to hang my clothes over the frig ..^_^.. AND NO Microwave!!!! Are you kidding me. Late night when you're hungry and wanted to warm up some food. ALSO!!! This place is attached to a bar / restaurant and when I returned back from my event the NJ Police were there w/ALL the flashing lights. Will, the concierge, did explain on FRI & SAT it IS ALWAYS like that. Good for their business because of all the patronage but it also brings a lot of unwanted customers also.

The room was quaint and very cute! We were a little concerned when we saw there was a 24 hour bar under the hotel and ear plugs at the front desk, but we didn't have any issues with noise thankfully. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable.

The only thing I wished for was blackout curtains because the lights were bright through the windows at night. For breakfast, get there a little earlier prior to end time because they do start to clean up early and the options were limited. But they did have waffles, eggs in addition to the normal continental options. Would stay again.

Breakfast was continental. Some hotels have eggs and sausage on the menu with continental however this was not offered. They offered tea and coffee. I like lemon in my tea, however, no lemon was available. Parking was excellent.

The bed was great. Never felt better after sleeping in the bed There was a small hiccup on the first night but probably because of arriving late. The second day was very good

We like staying here because of the vintage/antique vibes and free parking. I love this building and the decor inside. I enjoyed seeing it decorated for Christmas this time. Rooms are always clean. We have stayed at least 3 times before. The free parking and breakfast are other great perks of this property. Thank you for another great stay.

Breakfast was ok but not as good as in the past. No eggs or meats. You can make your own waffles, bagels or oatmeal if you want something hot.

Location is wonderful! Close to everything. Only a short 5 min walk to get on the boardwalk. Breakfast is a plus. It was good and had everything we needed. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Really neat place. I loved all of the character and unique features that dated back to when the property was built. Front door stays locked so only people staying can enter the building.

We booked almost a year in advance and our reservation was not in their system when we arrived. So you may want to call a few weeks in advance to check your reservation if you book through Booking.com. We did not get the room we had originally booked for, but they did have some rooms open and were helpful in getting it sorted out. Being that it was an older building the doors have gaps under them so you can hear everything going on outside of your room. You can also hear the police, people, and traffic all hours of the night on the main street outside of the windows.

The breakfast room has an adorable outdoor porch to enjoy breakfast. The courtyard area is also very pretty with plenty of tables and plants. very well kept. Chelsea Inn is immaculate and safe. Was very glad they had refrigerators in each room and bagged ice available. Being a block from the beach and boardwalk was a huge bonus and the directly across the street from the Tropicana on a Saturday night where they have fireworks all summer.

I thought the breakfast was going to be more like the tradition bed + breakfast setting instead of a basic continental American buffet. Hours for breakfast were fine but they ran out of coffee and didn't have a replacement urn ready. I also missed a butler pantry where you can grab a snack.

Parking, so convenient! Breakfast, pretty good! Even had a hose for you to wash sand off before coming inside. Loved the books and library set up with drinking water access downstairs.

I’d like mirrors in the room other than the bathroom. There wasn’t any space to do makeup while someone was showering, maybe a body length mirror and another small beauty mirror somewhere would add a nice touch rather than go outside in the hallway in darker lighting to do it. It would also be helpful to have access to a bathroom downstairs if there is one in case if emergencies or if someone is using the bathroom in the room. A crushed ice machine near the water station would also be nice!

The hotel and staff were Excellent and great. Look forward To staying at the Hotel Again Thanks for everything.

The night time staff at the Pub were Horrible. We had to leave and go to Tony's Baltimore Grill. Don't think I'll be going back there any time soon. Tony' s was happy to see us. And we spent a lot of money there. Thanks Tony's

The location is good. Rooms are clean and the building is a charming old building.

The woman at reception stopped helping me check in to address another couple that walked up. She spent several minutes chatting with them without so much as an "excuse me" or "I'm sorry". What they needed could have easily waited. Very unprofessional. The parking lot next to the inn was full of people partying ALL night. Literally until 4:30 am then quiet for 30 minutes and then it started again. We got very little sleep. And although the inn has nothing to do with the noise, the basket in the lobby with complimentary earplugs and sign about the noise was not easily seen around the corner of reception nor mentioned at check in. For the amount of money charged, the lack of peace and quiet was unacceptable.

The location is across the street from Tropicana, so it was easy to go see a show. It is 3 blocks from the boardwalk and beach, so we never moved our car. The front desk staff was very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and worked very hard to provide a clean room and a nice breakfast. Saturday and Sunday breakfast and more hot options and was very good. Pub food downstairs is pretty good.

I didn't have any problem with it, but there are many steep steps to walk up to get to rooms. The floors creak, but that is part of the old house atmosphere.
