Location near to a tram stop, Very friendly staff, very clean and tidy. Affordable price.

To close the door of the hotel room you need to push/pull it hard and this creates noise which have to be taken in mind if you go out early or come back late. Our room has another door leading to the neighbouring room. It was always locked, of course, but all the sounds of living in these rooms are reaching the other almost indesturbed. It was great that all the occupants during our 5-days stay there aware of that and there were not any disturbing noises (hoping that we also didn't disturbed others). Our stay was very satisfying and what I wrote here is not a reason for one to abandon such an opportunity. We just need to be aware of what we produce as sounds.

Reception staff knew who we were and what we needed when we walked in the front door. That was the first of very friendly and helpful staff, from reception to bar to restaurant to the shuttle driver. Excellent location and fast shuttle to the airport. While the room was small, it was clean - ditto the bathroom - very comfortable bed. Good dinner in the restaurant, and a good buffet breakfast. All in all, exactly what we needed. Pool area looked nice, but too cold to try. We told the staff that they wll see us again next year.

The premise shows it age somewhat - but it is going a bit far to say that we 'did not like' - we weren't there for a luxury experience.

Things that keep bringing us back to the Hotel Mejean are the free shuttle to the airport, the restaurant right on the main floor, that serves a very nice dinner, and especially the delightful staff who greet us like long lost friends.

Really friendly staff (probably the manager?) who kept the bar open for us when we arrived late due to cancellation on our train journey.

The room reflects the value of the booking. There was a loud noise from one of the other residents in the night that woke us up (but we appreciate that this is not the hotel's problem).

The staff were wonderful. I stayed to recoup after 30 hours of travel. The meal was huge and tasty and the staff were delightful.

The staff and the restaurant/breakfast are awesome.

The bathroom's door was broken and couldn't be closed. Not very classy when you're not alone in the room ;-)
