Just loved this hotel! There were a lot of us staying for a family event and many of us stayed at hotel Aegina. It’s a beautiful little hotel with lovely clean rooms. I loved the shutters and the linen curtains. Always super clean, and the cleaner was super sweet. The beds were so comfortable- much more comfortable than my bed at home! The hotel is family owned and they are such a lovely family. The breakfast was really nice and great value - we ate there for all of the 8 days. I really loved the apple cake - homemade - by the owner and had that every morning with my coffee, before I ate the fruits/breads and cheeses. The hotel is super close to the town beach about 3 - 5 min walk - just note it’s a bit hilly but nothing an able bodied person can’t handle 🤗. The loos on the beach were so disgusting that I just popped back to the hotel each time I needed the toilet - all good. The hotel is super close to the shops bars and restaurants about 3-5 min walk. I saw that some people mentioned the dogs barking - yes they did, but this was not a problem for us. There will always be sounds of “life” so just accept it and enjoy. The dogs were very cute too. The reception has a fridge selling small bottles of wine, coke and water - super handy! My uncle left his glasses on a boat and the lovely young guy at the hotel called the boat company to enquire for me - very kind! We really loved this hotel and would definitely go back. Oh if you want a kettle just ask them 🤗

Hotel Aegina was a very reasonably priced hotel I booked for a couple of nights on my way back to Athens. The reviews were good and I was met with friendliness and helpfulness by all staff - mainly the family who run the hotel. I had everything I needed - no compromises as there often are with budget friendly hotels. It was a short walk - around five minutes to the shops, cafes and port. I had some exceptional meals - fish - in seafront restaurants - on one occasion my table was actually on the sand and I could watch the sunset whilst I ate. I don't eat breakfast so cannot comment but I would definitely recommend Hotel Aegina if you want friendly, comfortable, budget friendly stay in a pleasant and safe area.

There wasn't anything I didn't like.

The location is excellent, walking distance to the port and all the shops and restaurants. The hotel was clean with a pretty lobby and good Wi-Fi. The front desk staff were helpful. The island is lovely, with a good variety of sites and scenery.

The room was very small. The balcony was tiny - though it was nice to have somewhere to dry swimsuits.

It was in a lovely area and the hotel itself is clean and pretty. Cleaners came in everyday and did a great job at tidying your room for you, making sure you had enough shampoo, shower gel, toilet roll etc. We had a lovely balcony view and the double room was comfortable and spacious.

The check out situation was ridiculous. Front desk apparently operates from 0800-2400 however we went down at 0800 to find no one at the desk. The cleaner came and phoned the receptionist to say we were checking out, for 10 minutes we had to attempt to pay for our room and it ended up not working. The receptionist then spoke to us and said she’ll be there in 10 minutes. As we had a ferry to catch this wasn’t a pleasant start to the morning.

Hotel Aegina location is very good, only 5 minutes walking from port. Hotel is simple but very clean, staff very friendly and always smiling. Breakfast quite good with many choices: pastries, fresh tomatoes-cucamber, fruits, eggs and our favorite greek yogurt. Our room was simple, with little balcony and comfy bed.

Bathroom needs update, shower was so tiny with showercurtain and water was leaking to floor. Windows should have mosquito nets, as there was many mosquitos at night. We didn’t like the taste of coffee at breakfast, it was so different, but maybe it is our special feature. Our room door was squeking quite loudly, it should be put a little oil, the squeking was a little disturbing.

The hotel is close to everything in the surrounding area, breakfast was good.

I liked everything, nothing to not like.

The stuff is so pleasant and nice, the room is on the smaller size but really pretty, with a small terrace. The breakfast was nice. It is located really near the beach and center, but far enough to avoid traffic and crowd, so it was really pleasant stay

Shower curtains, they were okay, but maybe an upgrade to normal shower would be better for a hotel.

Centrally located within easy reach of all restaurants, bars and bakery. Friendly and helpful staff throughout booking and stay. We were able to walk easily from the port upon arrival. Sand / shingle beach within walking distance and others from 5 minutes by car.

Buffet style, good and varied choice. Location was fine for some of the party but the hill from town was a bit of a challenge for some.

Outlook onto rubbish heap at back of hotel. Very noisy plumbing, which was disturbing throughout the night. Inconsiderate guests which it is appreciated the hotel has little control over.

This boutique hotel was very close to Marina Terminal so access by taxi was inexpensive and quick! Fabulous staff. Friendly and welcoming and very obliging. Helped with organising transport to see the Island. Gave great advice. Breakfast was good. Rooms very clean.
