Comfortable and friendly ,I always read reviews and was really second guessing staying here,I am glad I decided to stay, there is not 1 thing I can say negative about this place. Everything and everyone was great. I got there only to find out the pool was not working but was given a upgrade of rooms I could choose from. Breakfast was good and staff excellent. When you give a bad review, why not talk to the staff first so they can accommodate you, this is not the Ritz hotel so don't go expecting it to be so. Be nice to each other, god knows we need it at this time in the world. Thank you and this is my personal experience.

Be nice for restaurant and bar

Staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. It's a nice touch to have both a microwave and mini fridge in the room. The property is a bit older but seems to be well maintained.

My only complaint was the room's heating/cooling unit which was a large one beneath the window that makes quite a lot of noise when active. I was there on a chilly fall day so it would kick in and out every half hour or hour or so which didn't make for quite as restful a night's sleep as I would have liked, although it was by no means horrible. I had stayed in the same hotel (and actually the room next door) a couple weeks earlier and hadn't noticed this to nearly the same degree so perhaps it was an issue just with this specific room's unit.

Personnel was excellent. I arrived at 3am in the morning, and they treatment diligently and offered me a bigger room that I booked. I went for work, and was able to use the Gym perfectly well. It was a little old, however, they have a variety of machines that were great to exercise between conference meetings. The hotel is from a walking distance to the Convention Center. And if you like to walk, you can take a 30m walk downtown.

Some spaces or facilities look old. The gym, and some parts of the bathroom. Also, I saw a person walking with a dangerouse dog with a leash on the stairs, which was odd.

I have stayed at the travelodge for 5 nights with the family and pets. My experience there was amazing. The staff were excellent. The staff accommodated me and my family so many times. I was moving from Regina to Sydney N.S. and my power at my new home was not hooked up yet, and given the long weekend, we have extended our stay multiple times. The staff have managed to keep up in the same rooms the entire time. I will be forever thankful. They have a hot tub, sauna, and a nice size pool. They also had a hot breakfast, which was really good, and you had lots to choose from eggs, sausage, bacon pancakes, cereal muffins, fruit juice milk and more. The beds were so comfy, and the room was huge. The kids had a 2 queen bed and me and my spouse and I had the king room with a pull out couch. They were very spacious. I would recommend the Travelodge for the friendly staff, the accommodations, and great food and sleep. What more could you ever want.

I truly can't think of anything I didn't like about my stay.

The quality of this hotel was excellent.

Their constant stream of e-mails are unnecessary, irritating, incomprehensible, incorrect and a waste of time. For some reason they cancelled my booking while I was travelling to the hotel (obviously unable to drive and read) but the receptionist easily reinstated it. There is absolutely no need to check in on line and why on earth they e-mailed to suggest that I checked out on line (twice) after I had left was somewhat bewildering

Lots of renovations going on and the lobby area is absolutely beautiful… The owner is really working hard on the makeover of this hotel

After getting back from New Year’s celebration at 1:30 in the morning, we pull back the sheet and the sheet was dirty. The manager at front desk apologize profusely took photos of the sheet. It was obviously not changed huge brown spot on the sheet. He gave us a different room and apologized over and over

Our rooms met our expectations. There were 5 of us travelling and they gave us joining rooms so we could have 2 washrooms. This was very helpful getting ready for the day. Beds were comfy. Having a microwave was great for making popcorn after a long day exploring!!

Bathrooms need to be updated .We were disappointed the pool area was closed as that was one of the reasons we booked at this hotel. It was closed by the Dept. of Health, so unsure what was going on there. Needless to say my grandchildren were disappointed, however the manager on duty gave them free treats and beachballs. I could tell he felt bad for them and he was very friendly and kind. He didn't have to do this but we appreciated it.

Very comfortable stay. Excellent pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Staff were very helpful. A decent breakfast is also offered. Short drive into town for restaurant recommended by the hotel staff. The Governors Pub and eatery was very good we went there twice!

Slight confusion about servicing our room we had to ask twice! It’s a little tired but everything in our room was clean.

Well located and in a quieter part of town but still close to restaurants and shops. The room was clean and comfortable. Free breakfast was great, and they have a full breakfast...staff is very welcoming.

The only issue we had was the strong smell of lemon cleaner when we entered the room, it was nauseating and we could not open the windows so we opened our door and blasted the fan for an hour and it was fine.

Amazing location. Cozy beds. Great tv channel options. Close to great restaurants.

I’m not comfortable around off leash pets. Maybe I was in the lobby at the wrong time. Otherwise all good well rested.
