The spa bath was cool. It was convinient to have an ice machine available. The bed was comfortable and everything was clean. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

The air conditioner was noisy. We mentioned this to staff and were offered another room. An engineer also looked at the air conditioning unit in the room we vacated. The second room was better but still far noisier than we have experienced in other places. It would have been helpful for there to be a lift to take large bags up and down the stairs.

Excellent location ! Baddeck Gathering Ceilidhs right across road a must! Close to Cabot trail and only an hour to fortress louisbourg . Their restaurant is fantastic food is great . We had breakfast and evening lobster dinner . Takes a bit so give yourself time but food is very fresh . Live music on some evenings. Bell museum just down the road.

We were on top floor a lot of steps to drag luggage .laundry only open 5-10 . No phone in room to contact front desk

I liked the location, that it was clean.

Misadvertizing. The website failed to indicate that the restaurant was closed for the season. We were on a motorcycle trip and we chose this hotel specifically to access the restaurant for supper and breakfast without having to travel further. Also both beds' mattress were extremely hard. I've stayed in 1000's of hotel during my travels and never slept on a bed so hard. Obviously neither of us slept well. DISAPPOINTED

The meals (we had breakfast and dinner) were outstanding.

Everything.... Staff and owners were exceptional,, so friendly and helpful. Felt like you were part of the family. Presentation of the meals were amazing. Rooms were great, beds were so comfortable and bathrooms were perfect. All amenities you need. So relaxing and within walking distance to where ever we wanted to go. Had our own happy hour on the back deck on a rainy day and it was wonderful, they did not mind at all. Restaurant was excellent but they also recommended other places to eat that were so good. Can't say enough about it.

The location was perfect, minutes away from the Cabot Trail & on a beautiful lake. It was lovely and decorated with beautiful antiques. I felt like I was in a different era. The restaurant was excellent. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful.

Great central location. The town offers a lot to see for a very small town. The waterfront is great for people who like sailing and boating. Very good restaurant as part of the facility.

No complaints. It was great.

Room was fine for 2. The location in Baddeck was great, near the lake. We walked around town. There were several restaurants and a few shops. Lynnwood has an attached restaurant with breakfast, lunch & dinner. Dinner was very good. Parking lot fills quickly.

Faster paying in ‘office’.

Location is great and staff was helpful - due to low season there was no attendant at the main office which is ok. Facilities was great and staff was always helpful and friendly when we call. The place is really wonderful.

The bed was rock hard and the room was really cold. Bed can be more comfortable for the price we paid for the hotel room. This is really the only complain I have with this hotel.

Great location if you want to explore the Cabot Trail, also not too far of a drive to Louisbourg Fortress. The Inn is also central in Baddeck, walking distance to many restaurants and the waterfront. A block away was an excellent bakery, called High Wheeler Cafe. we also enjoyed dinner and breakfast right at the Lynwood Inn restaurant, good food and friendly staff. The room was very clean, and housekeeping came every day while we were out.

The beds were VERY hard, I mentioned it to the front desk staff and the next day they came with a mattress pad to try and make them softer for me. I appreciated this VERY much!!
