The location is excellent with access to the beautiful beach steps away from your room. Our kids 10/16 absolutely loved using the peddle boats, kayaks etc. Fabio and all the staff(family) are extremely friendly and helpful. Arranged restaurant reservations for us(great suggestions to complement our own choices) and taxis. Would definitely return to this property.

We didn’t dislike anything, but for those who have complaints, I would say if you have read the reviews, you know exactly what you are getting so the blame lies with you for not researching. Lots of steps? Yes obviously look at the pictures so shouldn’t be a surprise. Rocky beach? Yes so bring your water shoes. Walkable distance to downtown? 25 min so only you know if your fitness level fits. None of this bothered my family but was very easy for us to obtain this info beforehand

Blue Bay is a wonderful hotel to stay in while in Cefalu, and we would definitely choose it again. The location is great, the view from the balcony is absolutely amazing all day round, and since the beds are super large and comfortable, and the only thing you hear at night is the sound of the sea, we slept like babies there. And the breakfast was incredible, both because of the food itself and the astonishing location it is served in. The owner was always available to help with advice and recommendations and other practical questions. Cefalù is a 15 minute walk away, along a very nice path that has some nice views too, which is a great bonus.

Loved the beach bay this hotel/apartments are on. Stunning. Unfortunately we had bad weather so the sea was stirred up and the beach closed after our arrival. We were really sad about that. Breakfast is fabulous right on the water. The staff are really helpful and parking is plentiful. The views are just beautiful

We’ll it was nothing like we thought. I love a personal balcony so just be aware you share the l generous terraces with your neighbour. I terrace per 2 apartments. The apartments are basic inside and the sofa bed is really ugly. Might be time for a redecorate project? But it’s the little beach I’d go there again for and the wonderful staff.

The view was amazing, with the private beach you really see a difference! The sea was mostly clean (especially in the morning), and we fell in love with it. The apartment was very specious with a huge bed. Parking and breakfast are included.

Few things were quite disturbing: 1. the bathroom was poorly cleaned (there were someone’s lock of long hair on the shower wall when we arrived (and it stayed there until we left) and the shower walls in general were quite dirty). 2. The Staff was in general nice, however not at the breakfast. We always felt there as if we came there to eat for free and should be ideally eating as little as possible, although the breakfast is not free - it is included in quite high price (we paid almost 300 euros per night for a couple). As it was written in other comments, you really feel as if they are watching how much food you put on your plate.

Absolutely beautiful spot. We loved the private beach, the water was clean and lovely for swimming. Gorgeous sunrises on the balcony. Fabbio was so helpful with recommendations and helping us arrange a boat trip and car hire for a trip into the mountains. We loved the breakfast! The 20 min walk into Cefalu was perfect for walking off all the extra calories we ate - Sicilian food is delicious!

Can't think of anything really. If you were with a family and needed to self cater, there wouldn't have been enough equipment in the kitchen but we used that as an excuse to eat out !

The room was spacious and clean. The private terrace outstanding with an amazing view. Easy drive to and from historic Cefalù which has a convenient parking lot near the beach. Breakfast on the patio to the right of the apartments had a wide variety of offerings.

Nothing I didn’t like, but I’d like to offer one suggestion for management and one piece of advice to those considering Blue Bay: Adding chaise lounges on the terraces — in addition to those already on the beach — would be an excellent enhancement. Blue bay has a a lot of stairs. If you cannot handle stairs it may not be the place for you.

Perfect spot to sit by the beach away from the busier cities. Was an easy walk into Cefalu, which was actually quite nice to do in the evening once it cooled off (we were there in July - so quite warm). Took about 30m to walk into Cefalu and the path followed the coast line - so beautiful views. Accomodation was clean, open plan, plenty of space. Everything you need for a little get away. We found the beds very comfortable. Little kitchen is enough for simple meals (has a stove top, small fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery, glasses, some pots and pans etc). Big balcony out the front of each chalet where you can eat dinner looking over the ocean while the sun is setting (very nice). Private beach for people staying at the resort with lots of water sport activities (canoeing, SUP, snorkeling etc). Good breakfast. Helpful and nice staff.

Easy and secure parking, friendly reception and porter who transported all of our belongings to the apartment. The family apartment was very spacious with a huge, comfortable bed for us and a comfortable sofa bed for the children with, importantly, sliding doors between the two rooms. The a/c worked fine. The kitchen served us well and we used the induction hob, microwave, proper fridge, wine glasses and cork screw! The clothes line and pegs in the passage behind the apartment were useful, the shower was fantastic as was the WC that was separate from the shower and basin. The view was marvellous and beach a real treat, with sun beds, snorkelling equipment to use, wet shoes, kayaks and pedalos. We truly relaxed at Blue Bay, swam round to the next beach, jumped off the rocks and snorkelled looking at the fish, hermit crabs and anemones. Breakfast was fine in a round building perched on the slope near the beach that had a nice view.

We had breakfast quite late but in time on the first day and there was little fruit and tomato left.

Hidden gem!! Amazing view. Large personal terrace. PARKING. Clean. Modern. Spacious kitchenette. Spacious bathroom. Staff is so kind and helpful. Robust air-conditioning. Daily maid service. 24-hour bar. Free breakfast with plenty of food. Daily water. Snack bar. Again, this is an amazing view on the water. Private beach with complimentary pedal boats, kayaks, and lounge chairs for guests to use.This place does not have a restaurant, but the town is only 7 minutes drive away with plenty of options. Not overly congested with too many people. Toiletries provided. I will be back.

I loved everything. The only thing I would add in the future is more comfortable patio/terrace furniture and umbrellas to lounge on the terrace and take in the view. Possibly, a laundry room could be useful.

Location is perfect! With Parking. There are many beach activities for guests to use on a private beach The accommodation is very comfortable and spacious, the balcony’s are huge!! Don’t forget your swimming shoes

We had the best stay, however, there was one thing that could have made it better… There is a small kitchenette area which has all the necessities and if you are like us sometimes we like to stay in we cook something simple and relax.. but there was nothing to clean up with (sponge, washing liquid, tea towel etc) this may be a me “thing” but when I asked how I could clean I was told that they had not been asked before as the cleaners normally do it…if you are like me and like to tidy up after yourself then little note is for you.. take a tea towel, sponge and washing liquid the hotel doesn’t have anything to give you - I was given a tablecloth?
