I like the serenity of the place, the rooms were kept clean, the bedding and the entire unit. The staff is amazing. We had booked the log cabin, but when we checked in, the temperature had plummeted. It was soooo cold, and they bumped us up to the Villas as I was travelling with children, that was awesome. Kitchen and facility staff, always ready to give service with a smile. Due to us having moved our overall stay by a day, kitchen staff didn't have our catering information as we had booked for breakfast and dinner, and when we told them that, they ensured that they always checkin with us to ensure we dont miss a meal we had paid for, at some point a Hostess called Rachel or it Tebogo from the restaurant called for our Sunday meal as the restaurant closes early and she had realised that we are around but havent made our way to the restaurant. Thats what i call attentiveness to clients. We felt like the only guests this weekend. Keep up the good work., Excellent Place.

A special thank you to our host, Natasha, who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. The place is amazingly breathtaking, waking up to the sounds of birds and the sound of the river. The facility is super clean, the atmosphere is just so exceptional. The indoor pool was my favorite, walking around the facility was just refreshing, lot of peace of mind. The pictures on Booking.com don't do any justice, it's even more beautiful in person. My expectations were exceeded - Great value for money.

The food we had for supper was not so great, especially the pasta/macaroni salad.

The ladies at the reception were friendly and helpful, thank you! ♥️ The place was peaceful, quiet with a beautiful view of the river, great pool areas and all kitchen equipments were available. The bathrooms were clean with nice running hot water! 😊

The villa was clean bt had dust on the tables and there spider webs on steps and we found a BIG spider on one of our beds and the ladies were scared to sleep on thier bed and ended up sleeping on the couches. Maybe they should do pest control more often. But I would go back a 100 times again!!! Really enjoyed my stay there ☺️❤️

Meals were fine a little pricy especially the drinks. Staff were super friendly and gave a good impression of the place. Activities were well priced and very enjoyable. Grounds were clean and well maintained. Sunday buffet was well priced and well worth the weight.

Drinks prices both alcoholic and no-alcoholic beverages were pricy. Indoor heated pool was not warm enough. Sign advises it is 30 degrees/C but it felt more like 25 degrees. Fire was lit on Friday night for supper but not Saturday.

Everything about the place we liked...except for the below mentioned, what i did not like.

Room was not cleaned on our arrival, even thou we arrived an hour before check in, we were advised the room was not ready. Almost 2hrs later, arrived at the room, floors were not sweeped or mopped. Could still see dust on the cupboards. Previous guest braai ashes were still on the floor at the braai area, empty chargoal packets still there. Patio area was not cleaned/neat.

There is not enough stars to rate this facility. We checked in on Friday, had some issues with a broken geyser but without any hesitation, we were upgraded to another unit. The staff and Management are super helpful and friendly. We can’t wait to return in December. The photos on the website does not do this place justice!

The Villas are a little too far away from the pools

The Rondavel stay was really nice. The breakfast was also wonderful. The pools are beautiful. The whole scenery is so serene. It's therapeutic. The service from the restaurant was excellent. My toddler loved it there. I'm going back there soon. It's a pity that now it's sold out cos I want to go back after just a week there. l loved it there and would recommend it to everyone who's in tune with nature.

The TV wasn't playing. Asked them if they could fix it, but still didn't receive any help.

One of the house keepers "Sugar" made sure we were comfortable enough by getting us the villas that were next to each other and went out of her to try and get us a bigger pot as all their pots there were small sizes not catering for families and got the technician to fix our stove that wasn't working upon arrival

The stove wasn't working, there was no hot water and the kitchen utensils are small sizes for families, not enough utensils for a family stay.

The polls were clean the whole place was clean n great stuff at the reception

Our aircorn was not working we couldn't sleep.as it was very hot my daughter cried so much.plus the breakfast no options the sausages were very bad no taste,they looked so pale,the only thing tht was fine was the beacon m,juice n bread I think they can do better.
