Beautiful property along the river with amazing garden. The garden is definitely the highlight of this place. We loved to have breakfast there in the morning. The staff is very friendly and helpful and made sure we have a comfortable stay. They waited for us to check in after the usual schedule. We also had some meals at the property along with the breakfast and everything was delicious. We appreciated being given a sandwich the night before when we could not have breakfast because we were supposed to go on a day trip. The room is spacious and the bed is super comfortable. We recommend this stay! They provide books, movies, games, insect repellant, even sunscreen. We really appreciated all these added bonuses. Also, you can have your laundry taken care of for a very good price there.

The hotel is a bit out of the city, however they provide a daily shuttle to the city centre. Booking a Grab is also not very expensive.

The place is quite, nice and chilly, quite clean. The prices are very reasonable, breakfast is served in the rooms or in dining space, good Thai food. You can ask for laundry, cleaning, massage right in your room. Place has a pool and nice river bank area. It was nice, we’ve rented too huge space for 3 of us but for a big company it might be perfect: each bedroom comes with a private bathroom, 2 floors with the terrace/balcony, roof access. Good sound proof, no road sounds or disturbing guests, very polite and responsive staff.

The location is not perfect in terms of transportation: many cabs cancel the rides as the roads are narrow, traffic is heavy during the day. Also the roads are barely walkable, again narrow and twisted which makes it a bit scary to walk event to the nearest 7/11. But! They do offer rides to the Chiang Mai 2 times a day and if you’ll get yourself a scooter (which you can rent right in place) it will highly improve your experience. I do recommend to be careful with the laundry. Don’t give any special fabric or badly dirty things, as it might be spoiled. But to be honest they paid for spoiled baby shirt with no hesitation so I should give them at least this.

Everything, this was our 2nd time staying there. It is an awesome authentic Thai built Hotel. With beautiful relaxing garden settings, with a small river at the back. Also a great pool under the trees looking over the gardens and River. Very relaxing place after being in the busy Chiang Mai traffic. And the staff are so friendly and very helpful. Our room was the 3 storey family apartment with comfortable beds and very spacious main room. Not modern decor but all beautiful wood Thai furniture.

The only thing is the hotel is on a very small busy (Soi) Street, but thats no drama if you get a taxi to drop your off.

Natural environment. Just seeing the river from the room, green around and surrounded by nature makes your stay The room has a decent size, silent aircon, big bed with a firm mattress. Internet works all over the place either you're in the room or at the pool!

The free to use bicycles can be better maintained.

A lovely oasis by the River Ping just a short way out of the walled Chiang Mai old city walls. Take time to enjoy the facilities - my family (2 adults and 3 children) had a spacious family suite and over a week enjoyed the pool, garden, and some games and books that were available for loan on those 'downtime' days we all need to wind down between exploring. There's also a small gym if you don't feel you're getting your steps in! Breakfast choices were to my liking, and local markets nearby meant that food options were close if you didn't want to venture too far. We had a rental car so staying outside the hub of the city was a good trade off for us. Having a car meant we had a lot of flexibility to explore the region our way, our timing. Helpful staff at the Villa and overall a relaxing stay with 'home away from home' touches - would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely time.

Villa San Pee is a hidden gem, a little away from town center. The moment you enter you'll feel welcomed by the staff. The rooms are spacious, clean and have all the facilities we needed with kids. Breakfast was limited but sufficient and tasty. You have option to have it served in the garden or room which is a big plus. Taxi to old town take around 100bht and takes about 15min. Both the boys in the reception were friendly and helpful. Overall the hotel was beyond our expectation and we highly recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable stay in chiang mai.

There's nothing to be honest for the price we paid. But if i have to mention something thn that would be mosquitos in the garden and pool area.

Good rooms size. Access to the outside. Great river view. Free bikes to use.

The staff is very bad in English. Numerous requests were not attended as they don't understand. No manager is available as well, and the reception will not take any decision.. The local kitchen is super, super, super slow. Rooms are a bit old, paint is so, so. WIFI did not work in my room. One toilet was clogged up, needed to switch room and move our bags alone(!). Family room is on the second floor, no elevator.

A lovely quirky hotel with well appointed rooms and facilities . The gardens and settings were a delight set in a peaceful location with a pool where beds are always available. The staff were very helpful with good English. A small bus is available twice a day to take you to the old town with a taxi back for a few pounds. The food we tried was all delicious and there is a nice kitchen facility with coffees and teas of which you help yourself. They also have a wonderful lady available for a massage, again this was excellent and very good value.

Such a peaceful and beautiful setting. The space was big and open! The way that the property was lit at night was beautiful. I felt like little fairies should be dancing in the air plants that were lit as well as the beautiful gardens and refreshing pool. A 10 min walk to a market. The staff was amazing!! They took care of us as if we were the only guests. The grounds and the hotel are very clean with good AC. Just a beautiful place to stay and relax.

The bathrooms have flimsy sliding doors that are more like sliding partitions. Be sure you have mosquito repellant for late afternoon and evening if sitting out. It’s the price you pay for this beautiful environment.

We stayed 3 nights and it felt totally like your home in Chiang Mai, it has a big pool, many activities, clean facility and nice & comfy beds to rest, nothing to complain and only I can say good words about the stuff, they are very helpful to your questions and doubts.

We booked the family suit and in the second rooms it can hear the noise from the street easily because it is facing to the street, that is the only inconvenience we had during our stay.
