An exceptional place in an exceptional location. …very relaxing. It was a 2 minute walk from the opera. The hosts were amazing and if we needed anything they were there to help straight away. We didn’t have a car and relied on public transport. Public transport was easy, efficient and super cheap. The location was perfect for exploring Pisa..you could jump on a bus either the 29 or 31 that was 2 minutes away from the B& B that took you close to the Torre del lago train station. From here you could catch a train into the centre of Pisa..in 20 minutes! I am looking forward to a return visit.

Clean, cosy room, the host came to greet us and was more than friendly. Although the B&B is in a limited access walking zone, its very easy to find night parking places at about 150 m (after exiting the walking zone turn right). Wonderful seeshore inviting to a little walking, the sea beaches are at about a 15 min drive. Compared to the nearby overnight possibilities very good price. Puccinis villa (15 m from the B&B) is a must-see.

The location was perfect overlooking the lake. There were four restaurants in walking distance. There was a cafe/bar within 5 minutes. We walked up to the main road to catch the bus to Lucca. The walk took 20 minutes. We bought bus tickets at the Tabac. The train station was a further five minutes. Trains to Pisa Centrale only 15 mins. From PC you can get the people mover to the airport. We also had a day trip to Florence.

It is difficult to think really as we enjoyed everything. I don't know whether there was parking available but that didn't impact on us.

the location was great and the room was very spacious with an amazing terrace. it was very clean and the air conditioner was a lifesaver. the breakfast was very good and the staff was always very helpful. it was such a wonderful stay.

Amazing location for the Opera

Had requested a room with a view ( 8 months previously) and would have been happy to pay more but that option sadly wasn’t given. Room was clean but dark and no view on the ground floor with a succession of people walking by.

The location was beautiful and practical for going to the opera festival and visiting the Puccini Villa which were really just around the corner.

Great customer service! Very pleasant breakfast each morning. Room was put back together every morning by staff.

really lovely and clean, right in front of a beautiful lake. you are pretty remote so be prepared to either walk or get public transport

we asked the hotel staff a few times if they’d help us book a taxi as we do not speak Italian and they refused a few times which was a bit disappointing and unhelpful

The owner is very pleasant and greeted us with a very warm welcome The hotel was spotlessly clean. Great breakfast - everything one could really need including (if you wish) scrambled eggs cooked on the spot (therefore not cooked before and left in a warming plate). There is a parking area right in front of the B&B to drop off your bags but you cannot park there overnight. However there is public parking very near by that was free the night we stayed (I believe it is free every week night and then 2 euros per day on weekends which makes it quite affordable). The lake is lovely and one can even go on a boat to cruise around (the rental location is also very close to the B&B .. I believe you can also rent kayaks there as well). For those who like to fish - that is possible if you get a permit (we did not fish but were told you can get the permit from the Town Hall) and have your own gear. Ristorante CECCO with a very affordable menu is right next door to the B&B but it was closed for dinner the night we arrived so we ate elsewhere. Our room was on the first floor and had a nice terrace off the bedroom. There is no lift so those who have a hard time using stairs should ask for a room on the ground floor when making their booking. I think there were two bedrooms on the ground floor. The room size we had is quite compact but still maneuverable. Nice size bathroom with plenty of hot water for showers. Extremely quiet and peaceful at night.

Loved the location was so close to the theatre. Loved the little garden we had. Breakfast outside in the garden was great too.
