We stayed at Hotel Lubjana as a couple in April 2025. Location of the hotel is good, in Durrës. We stayed in room 402 which was a generous size room, with balcony. Nice big bathroom with walk in shower, couldn’t fault it. Our room was clean and was cleaned everyday throughout our stay by the amazing cleaning team, the hotel was spotless everyday too. The food at breakfast was included and was brilliant, a great choice of hot, cold and pasties etc, something for everybody including fresh fruit etc. The staff on both breakfast and throughout the hotel were amazing, all well trained, polite, knowledgable and consistent. The manager of the hotel was also incredibly friendly and little things like lending us a travel adapter on our first day went a long way for first impressions. We also benefited from their shuttle service, collection from Tirana airport to the hotel was on time organised by the hotel, cost €30 and the driver was on time waiting for us with our name on the paper. We also benefited from the shuttle service throughout our time and would strongly recommend using it, just €5 return to Duress central area and we also went on our own private excursions to Krujë and Berat, Berat was our favourite and we’d strongly recommend it. Lastly I have to mention how good the food was in the restaurant of Hotel Lubjana, usually when I travel to Europe the last thing I’d do is eat at my hotel because I like to explore, but the reviews of this place where good so we thought we’d try. By a mile the food at Hotel Lubjana restaurant was the tastiest food we had in Albania. I’d strongly recommend it and in truth, if we had tried the food there on day one we probably would have ate there again throughout our stay. The evening staff, restaurant manager and waitresses were all so lovely and friendly and well trained. We would totally recommend Hotel Lubjana. Thank you.

This is a really lovely, brand new hotel in Durres which has a real feeling of quality about it. It is perfectly situated only a short walk from the beach. The hotel also has its own parking behind the hotel which is essential as a parking space in Duress is almost impossible to find. We were greeted with a really, really nice welcome drink on arrival which we appreciated. Highly recommended.

We had to wait quite a long time for our food to arrive in the restaurant in the evening even though they were not very busy. About 15 minutes after we ordered it the waitress came and asked how we would like it cooked!

We used the hotel for only one night as we were moving to another location further south in the country the following day. Hotel was on a main road in close walking distance to the beach. Front of hotel looked lovely. We arrived late evening after travelling from Tirana airport and were fortunate that the restaurant was open, given the time of year. We had an enjoyable, freshly cooked meal served by friendly, well dressed, attentive staff. Breakfast the next morning was again very tasty and filling. We would be happy to return to the hotel again should we be in the area and have no hesitation in highly recommending it to others.

We had no complaints. Everything we needed for our stay was available.

The hotel Is beautiful! The rooms are super nice and clean with comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet was very good and the restaurant was amazing. We highly recommend to have dinner there, especially for the seafood pan. The staff was extremely helpful and nice, everyone was smiling and greeting you everyday. Unfortunately during our trip we had an emergency and thanks to the staff, who went out of their way to help us, it turned out ok in the end. We were lucky to be able to prolong our stay with them after this. Thank you to Emilian and his staff :) Will be back in the future!

Comfortable room, lovely view, great to have a balcony, very pleasant and welcoming hotel staff, good shower, high expectations from the outside view of the hotel too - and delivered inside.

First morning had breakfast cooked to order, next 3 mornings was a breakfast buffet that didn’t have all the options and things ran out - it was still good, and we enjoyed it, but perhaps we’d been spoiled the first night (the hotel wasn’t busy tho - so they were obviously trying to manage supply and demand!)

Hotel is placed on the main street but you can't hear noise in room if windows are not on the streat. 2-3 minutes walk to the beach, good restaurants and shops. Decent size, clean rooms with nice beds. Average+ breakfasts: almost the same every but partially quite good products. Helpful reception.

Open shower makes part of the bathroom wet... in other room setup was more logical. Fried eggs are done to early and too rarely which make them dry and not nice.

Our stay at the Hotel Lubjana was just perfect. The staff was extremely friendly and took good care of us . We've enjoyed the healthy breakfast and had a lovely view of the sunset every evening. The daily roomservice kept the room clean so that we enjoyed coming back to the hotel every evening. The bathroom was very modern, the shower was great and the mattresses were extremely comfortable. 10/10 recommend!!!! Very great place to stay at!!

The pillow was too big.

Great location one street behind the beach walk. Very new hotel with spacious room and bathroom. Ample storage room for luggage and clothing. Cute balcony with side ocean view from our room. Air conditioning worked great. Pleasant service from staff.

One negative. We had the privacy sign on the door and one morning cleaners just entered the room whilst we were still in bed sleeping. Sign was ignored. Breakfast wasn’t that great, minimum items to select from each day and missing basic items such as a toaster for the bread. Juice not always available.

Staff were nice, room clean, great location to get to the sea front.

Pillows could be a bit softer. Breakfast was not much left after a group of German tourists had most of it, need to make sure there is always enough food for all guests Coffee machine for breakfast not good coffee. If you want espresso you have to pay extra.

We stayed only for one night. There is not much to see in Durres and the beaches are not that clean (maybe because of the winter) but the hotel was nice, clean, comfortable and the staff was friendly. The breakfast was not buffet, but the sizes and the amount of the things we received were very generous and tasty. The parking place is spacious and the hotel is easy to find and close to beach. It is right next to a main street but we didn't here any noise.

The floor was really cold, really uncomfortable to walk on it. The hot water in the shower was hard to regulate, I basically had to take a shower with almost cold water in winter. The parking lot could use some pavement (it is just a patch of land), and, even though this might be an Albanian thing, the toilet get really wet since it is close to the shower and there is only one panel to prevent the water from spilling the water everywhere in the bathroom.
