The location was just 5 mins from the sea and 7 mins drive into Honfleur. It was quiet, rural and the grounds were delightful. The hotel is beautiful and they upgraded us to the suite which was amazing. What a lovely room. Roll top bath, beautiful views over the countryside. Super comfortable bed. Really quiet. Spectacular!! We wished we could have stayed longer than our one night and we really relaxed. Great service from staff. If you stay here you absolutely won’t be disappointed. There’s an on site spa that we didn’t use but I’m sure it also meets expectations. Little touches like the soap for our stay and the local produce in the room (apple juice and cider) were super thoughtful.

Two tiny gripes nothing major and forgot to mention on checkout. Kettle doesn’t stay on so you have to hold the switch down to boil it and coffee machine leaked everywhere but seriously that’s nothing compared to the overall stay and is a simple fix.

The hotel is like something out of a fairytale. We arrived early and were upgraded to a bigger room which turned out to be incredibly well laid out, with an impressive double shower/tub bathroom and equipped with everything one could need from coffee, tea, locally made appleade and incredibly smelling bath products. We absolutely loved our room! The bed was huge, linens were fresh and crisp and lighting was great for relaxing. The view from our 1st floor room was also great. We had dinner in the smaller restaurant and the selection was not too bad. Staff were incredibly attentive and helped with everything, from pointers about the area to any other questions. The spa was small but well managed and we enjoyed the sauna and steam room. The hotel is a short walk away from a nice beach and a short drive from Honfleur or Le Havre.

A gym inside the premises would have been great.

Very idillic place, hidden in the green. An old Maison renewed to modem elegant standard. Super friendly personnel, exquisite restaurant! It is only 10 minutes drive from the beautiful Honfleur.

Our bathrooms had only bathtubs, which were very nice but not preferred by all family members.

Marvellous grounds! 15 mins walk to the beach, beautiful old woods surrounding the property, own fruit trees and kitchen gardens, beautiful seating areas and tasteful play areas for children, nice pool, beautifully restored building and nearly brand new rooms. Staff was overall very friendly and helpful.

A bit unpractical for families (as all nice hotels are), but they tried to make things work. For instance the restaurant wasn’t open on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and when it was open it only opened at 7/8 and was often fully booked. Room service wasn’t more than 4/5 choices of cold sandwiches, so not really an option. The nearest restaurants to get food during lunch time and early dinner was in Honfleur, about 15 mins away. We ended up having to prep camping like meals in the room. The value for money was too high. Obviously considering the location etc it would always be more expansive, but €20 for a bottle of water was a lot.

The location is phenomenal. It's on an idyllic acreage just outside Honfleur and has everything you need for a fantastic getaway in a quiet location. They have thought of everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. The bedding is premium. The food is delicious and features a variety of locally sourced cheeses, yogurts, and more. The spa is a quaint oasis, and the pool is beautiful. When you arrive, each member of your party gets to choose a custom soap for their stay. It's a nice touch that was above and beyond.

The building and gardens were amazing.

Sound proofing is an issue. You don’t want to spend 600€ a night and hear the guy next door walking the stairs or sneeze. Same goes for the spa, the soundproofing is really bad, there is no wall between each room. I was hearing the guy next door snoring…

Amazing property with wonderful rooms, surroundings and nice spa.

The old fashioned shower was not practical. You can tell every guest floods the bath based on the calcium deposits on the black floor tile.

the dinner was Michelin quality, but not best suited for my teenage children. I asked about that when making the reservation and was told they would be happy.

Wonderful location, surrounded by orchards. Fascinating architecture. Easy walk down to ‘cider farm’.

The restaurant was closed. limited choice of food at the bar.

Fantastic views, incredibly helpful staff, a truly relaxing experience. The room was very spacious and extremely clean.
