Great location and amazing staff. As an English speaker they were very kind and patient with my lack of Japanese language.

The airflow in the rooms got stuffy due to the ventilation only turned on with a room key. The small room was a little more comfortable after a few minutes of running the room’s air conditioner…but that was my main complaint. No parking without use of the amazing car elevator that is an additional nightly fee…but the gentlemen were always so kind.

The breakfast buffet was excellent with many tasty Japanese and Western choices. We had a room on a higher floor, with a wonderful view of Mt Fuji. They gave us a larger room than we had there last spring, perhaps because we were staying for 2 weeks. Any street noise in the morning was easily solved by closing the soundproof window. Staff was very accommodating. Spotlessly clean. Very close to train station, and easy walk to pleasant north area under monorail.

We stayed for 2 weeks and had the hotel do our laundry twice. The second time it was much more expensive than the first time, which we couldn’t understand; perhaps we did not fill out the paperwork properly? But laundry beautifully done!

The location was close to the Tachikawa train station and provided access to great shopping experiences. The breakfast was a buffet and had many choices. Typical Japanese breakfast fare, with great flavor.

Laundry room was in a odd location. Lobby was on 3rd floor & laundry room was accessible by stairs to the first floor.

The room was quiet and large enough for 2 people, the staff was always available, and the coffee service in the lobby was appreciated. Great atmosphere for a business hotel and conveniently located close to a major train station.

The major area for improvement is the breakfast. I suggest going to a nearby cafe or taking advantage of the hotel's free coffee service and picking up something at the nearby convenience store.

I loved how close it was to the station and that there were Kombinis near by. The a/c was also working ,so the room didn't feel like a sauna. The room has actually spacious

The pillows were waaay too soft and the bathroom had a bit of mold. The bathroom didn't seem to have proper ventilation for the steam

Tachikawa Washington was an excellent stay. The room was comfortable, although the bed was only a double it was adequate and comfortable. The staff was friendly and spoke English as well... (although not an issue for me). Over all a very pleasant stay. Bonus: When the weather cleared I had a fantastic view of Mt. Fuji from the 13th floor. Highly reccomdneded!

Honestly nothing. It met my needs. A bigger bed is desired for someone my height... but There's no way that would have been possible for the rooms there... That said.. I had ZERO problems with the rooms or the hotel.

Excellent location for shopping,dining and local attractions. Friendly and professional staff. Excellent buffet breakfast catering for mainly Japanese taste.

Small double bed and relatively small rooms. Would be hard pressed for space with two suitcases. Had to wait one hour to check in.

Staff always pleasant and helpful. Very convenient location to train station and shopping area. We stayed here in the spring, returned again for another vacation.

Nothing. Room is a typical small size but very affordable for our vacation stay.

Breakfast was excellent! Food was delicious and staff very attentive. Our room overlooked other nearby buildings but we could see the mountains and Mt. Fuji on clear days. Staff was very helpful in storing our luggage before we checked in, and while we took a side trip, as well as on our last day.

Could have used two small chairs instead of the one huge chair that was cumbersome in the small room.

Nice location, with many good local restaurants around. Hotel room clean and neat, the staff were nice and helpful.

Really good areangements for the coin laundry, with the clear guidance and help from the front desk recptionist. It would be perfect if i don't have to walk downstairs for the coin laundry.
