Our room was spotlessly clean, bed was comfy and shower was excellent - plenty hot enough and great pressure! Our unit was very spacious (Queen Studio) with good sized kitchen and bathroom. Nice and quiet and great location, only 3-4 minute drive to centre of town.

Not much ambience in the unit, finished to a pretty basic standard but wouldn't put me off staying here again.

Spacious unit (I got an upgrade to a two-room unit); clean and comfy bed (not too soft!); extra wool blankets available; very convenient location to walk into town for dinner and close to the Cambridge Specialist Centre. Good amount of heating options to keep the place cosy.

Parking for the back units is a little tight but manageable.

We were so impressed with the service provided by Herman, sorting out late check in for us and then when my brother left his jacket with his house keys in his picket in the wardrobe Herman went above and beyond to get it couriered to Auckland the next day for us so my brother would have it before he returns to the UK. So grateful and would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Location was great, 5 mins from city center. Unit was adequate, had to use bathroom basin as no kitchen sink. Shower was great. No chairs only a 2 person couch and the bed. Overall I felt it was only adequate for our needs.

Very friendly and welcoming staff, check in was a breeze, room was immaculately clean, pool and spa were easily accessible, parking was right outside room which is a bonus when you book places to stay. I had my nephew and sister visit and the hotelier showed where they could park and was very hospitable. Nice and peaceful in the evening also.

That we only book for one night.

It was an ideal spot just out from the main town area. The rooms were great and it seemed like they'd been freshly updated. We were a little worried about being on a main road, but the rooms were quiet and a great night's sleep was had. I would definitely stay there again. Bonus, there's a small lake just down the road with a beautiful walking path around it!

Upon arrival to the property the owner came down to greet me and show me the room, and the facilities within. The room was clean and tidy, had a tv with sky and free Wi-Fi, I didn't use the Wi-Fi, however. The bed was very comfy, and the heat pump worked a treat keeping me warm during the night. Overall, I am impressed and will certainly look to use this again on a return trip.

Nice family sized room with good beds. Kids loved the pool. Staff were excellent and very polite. Although the kitchen was dated, it had everything we needed for our short stay

Noise from other rooms late at night - double glazing would assist but also those people should be more considerate at 1am in the morning.

Perfect location in the city! The reception employee (or owner) was very kind, gave me a tour of the room and drink in the mini fridge :) The room have everything you need and the price is legit. I was there for visiting the Hobbiton and I think it was the perfect place to stay for that!!

Cambrian Lodge offers comfortable, clean accommodations and welcoming atmosphere. The staff are friendly and attentive, displaying genuine interest in us and what brought us to Cambridge. The location is really convenient, providing a comfortable place to rest and unwind. Highly recommend!
