No breakfast but coffee maker and coffee were great. Location was great just a short ways from the lighthouse. Tackle shops and restaurants and food stores are close.

Great location and the Swell had something for everyone. It was nice to be greeted when we checked in my name which you do not get at the big name hotels. Great team and you can buy gifts right in the lobby and one of the staffers is the artist Also an awesome Art Gallery is attached too My husband loved the free air and water to wash off his jeep and fill his tires back up and all in one place Will stay again!

The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We were very late arriving and they made sure we could get in our room. Also because there was a tropical storm there the next day, we were not sure we would be able to get in the cottage we had rented because of flooding on the sound side. They were willing to help us out to stay another night if we needed to. We didnt have to stay another night but I so appreciate the way they were going to help us. We will stay here again.

I cant think of anything I didn't like. They TV was a little confusing but we figured it out. That's all I can think of.

The on-site amenities were really stand out. They had live music on Saturday night. We thought they had an outdoor grill only but were pleasantly surprised to find an entire outdoor kitchen with propane grill and range as well as a sink. We played cornhole and horseshoes. Their on-site ice machine was a blessing and if you happen to fish, they have a fish cleaning area too. Netflix is included with the in-room televisions so, no need to log in to your personal account. Location was good with plenty of shops and restaurants close by. Only a mile away from the lighthouse and plenty of nearby beach accesses.

AC was a bit loud but it works and kept us comfortable.

The rooms are simple but very organized. They had unique towels and sheets for my dog and a broom to swipe the sand from the floor—no heater so that I could get chilly at night in February.

It was far from the beach, about two miles from the lighthouse. Even though they have bikes. The restaurants around the hotel are not good. The dog area was full of goat heads that got into my dog's feet. Also a lot of junk behind the motel. No respect for nature.

Went there last year and love it so went back this year again to celebrate my husband’s bday. I love the extra touches for the dog friendly rooms. They give you sheet and a towel to be used for your dog. You can also buy gifts in the lobby which is always a plus! Gives you that local feel

I love this hotel!! I was very comfortable and recommend this hotel highly. Unlike many hotels the room looked just like the online pictures. I will be staying again at the best location in Buxton.

It was perfect! Normally don't have much to say about hotels, but still talking about this. Staff was amazing!!! Best place to stay in buxton!!!!!

hands down my favorite place to stay. love how clean and convenient everything is. location is another big thing as it is right next to dillion's , our favorite coffee stop

Rooms were perfect for fisherman’s needs, Great comfortable bed, hot shower, fish cleaning facilities and freezer. Very quiet neighborhood

Could use something to set suitcases out, limited hanger area.. but still a comfortable stay
