The location is great! The view from the room/balcony is amazing. The view from the provided continental breakfast area is spectacular (inside or outside). The golf cart rental is so convenient (there are also bikes). The spacious room and bathroom were very clean and the entire Inn and property are well kept. The luggage elevator is nice and the staff was very helpful. The ample parking was close to the rooms and easily accessible. Overall great 3 days and 2 nights.

Wish it had a pool. Everything else was very good.

This is a great place for the price. Its price is exhorbitant, but less exhorbitant than any other place I could find in this last-minute booking on Ocracoke. I expecially liked the big chairs facing the harbor. If it weren't so hot and humid during that heat wave (the very reason I headed to OBX was to escape the heat wave on the east coast), i might have enjoyed it more. But it was fine, given the weather. The basic breakfast was ok. The room was cool since AC worked - thank goodness. The staff was GREAT, from reception to cleaning folks.

Couldn't you make it less humid in 90 degree heat outside?

The location was wonderful. There were chairs on the dock and we watched the boats in the harbor. It was peaceful enough to read our books. The room was clean and large enough to lounge and a table was provided for meals. The staff were all friendly and helpful with questions about what to see and where to eat. We also rented a golf cart at the hotel and went all over the village and found places to park without difficulty.

We are pretty easy going and therefore didn’t find anything that we were unhappy with.

One of the beds mattress was well worn. It could use a good cleaning for example the blinds looked a bit dirty (or maybe just well worn) The continental breakfast was very basic It would be great if bikes came with the stay or at a reduced price for folks staying there. $22 for a bike rental for a day seems a bit high

The central location with a view of the harbor was perfect. And the front desk gave us great ideas for eating and shopping. Because our stay was so short, this was very helpful... Eduardo's was a great breakfast since we wanted a bit more than continental. We also enjoyed fresh shrimp at SmacNallys and shopped at The Village Craftsman and Books to be Red. It was a treat to have a balcony overlooking the harbor off my room. I would most definitely book The Ocracoke Harbor Inn again!!!

There was nothing Not to like.

Location is great, on Silver Lake but on the less car traffic portion, which is ideal if you are looking to get away from the city and be on "island time" for a while. Very nice view, nice to have bicycle rental and a dock to hang out at and read a book or whatever you want. Still with easy access to the restaurants and ferry terminal in Ocracoke.

The bicycles used to be available for free, if I recall, but $12 for 2 hours is still a good deal.

Great location right across from the water and a room with a view. Maryjane greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Very clean and well-maintained room. Comfortable beds. The continental breakfast was satisfying and in a room looking out over the water. The owner and rest of the staff were great and as helpful as could be as our plans kept changing, due to the weather and ferry runs being cancelled.

The weather was cold and showery. The road to the Hatteras ferry was closed. The ferries weren't running on schedule. Of course, all of this was outside the control of the Inn.

The breakfast was nice. Due to the ferry to Okracoke from Swan Quarter not running at 1:30, we arrived at the Inn after dark, so we could not take advantage of the view. We saw a little bit the next morning before we needed to leave and head north.

The ferry running so we arrived earlier in the day and had time to see the sites in Okracoke. Our schedule did not allow us to stay the next day and see anything.

Easy access to breakfast. Very plain but it's nice to have something so close.

We had multiple issues with the air conditioner. It was miserable for 2 days and multiple complaints. We were offered a fan & it was still unbearable. The owner replaced the air conditioner the following day. It was much better compared to the beginning situation but definitely was not happy about paying the same price while sweating in our room and my daughter threw up from being so hot.

Location, Location, Location. Plus exactly epitomises North Carolina coastal style.

Small issue in big picture but breakfast was rather sparse and in off season with limited choices of place to eat it could be problematic for someone looking for full breakfast. When it says breakfast included be aware it’s limited light continental.
