We stayed at Maude-Estes #2. They place was super clean and spacious, nice location as it was close to the ferry station and fun amenities. our experience was a 10/10 EXCEPT for the dryer didn’t work our whole 1 week stay and the maintenance guys told us “someone broke it and you have to turn it on a certain way.” So we turned it on the way he showed and it didn’t heat AT ALL. All of our clothes that we washed had to be layed over banisters on the back porch to dry. Other than that, we truly had a great experience and will be be back here next time. Definitely recommend!

Dryer was very complicated to turn on and when you finally got it on, it didn’t heat at all so clothes never dried. We had to lay them outside in the sun.

The treatment I received from the representative and the accommodation request where attended to promptly and in a timely manner . I have never had such great/ amazing service/treatment . The location ocean front was amazing! The cottage was more than expected!! Very nice! I can not thank them enough!!

Nothing really, I didn’t get to utilize the pool , due to an overwhelming amount of people who stayed there the whole time

We stayed in the 3br duplex, ME1. The home was beautifully decorated, everything was clean and looked recently updated. Comfortable beds & couches, extra blankets in each bedroom and lots of storage with dressers and closets. Large bathtubs perfect to soak in. Close to everything, only a couple minute drive to several beach access points, restaurants, and shops, but still felt secluded and private.

My only complaint is that if you have a group staying on the other side of the duplex who is a bit more rowdy and you're looking for a more quiet, relaxing vacation, you will be able to hear them pretty clearly through the walls.

The facility did not provide clothes hangers and it did not have washing/dryer. The rest were just perfect. We enjoyed a lot.

Kitchen has everything what necessary for cooking. Clean bed bed sheets. Very good experience.

We rented a cottage. Very nice. Fit our needs. Close to the ferry and midway between Avon and Hatteras.

Neighbors moved in next door and sat outside in the porch which was about 15’ from our bedroom window. Outside light on shining in our room, laughing, talking very loud until I politely asked them to keep it down because it was 1:10am and they were keeping us awake.

The place was clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for two people and a kitchenette so you don’t have to eat out every meal.Great location close to restaurants and beach ramps.

Nothing that would prevent us from staying there again. Parking a little tight for a double cab 4x4 truck. somewhere outside to rinse off sand before going inside.

The locations and the cleanliness.

Well nothing about the property but there was no proper communication, we informed we are going to be late and we got a message that the keys will be in key box at office with instructions however the office location was different than what was posted on booking.com which was actually the rental place. The house we got for rent was also different and we were given keys for two different houses. We went into a house in the middle of night around 2:30AM and there was someone already in the house. The other key was finally for the place we were given. I think the office address (which is at the beginning of the town) must be given by these guys instead of the rental room (which are in the town) address.

Loved how close we were to everything. We'd stayed a summer in Buxton, and we loved relieving some of our favorite places with our kids. Inside the cottage had new floors and was very clean. We liked the open layout of the kitchen/dinning/living room. The wooden walls were very pretty and we loved the size of the dinning room table and chairs. We used one bedroom for the family which was a good size for our four year old and 1 year old in his room in his pack and play. The bedrooms had drawers that were a good size for our belongings and a mirror in each room. While we didn't use the utensils or dinnerware we were glad to know they were there if we needed them. The refrigerator seemed new and was perfect for our needs.

We had a bit of an ant problem in the bathroom tub and sink. I wish we'd had curtains we could close so the room could be dark enough when our littles went to bed at 7pm.

I loved how this apartment was tucked into a little area where there was lots of wildlife. we saw lots of frogs, a salamander, a lynx or a bob cat & a doe! we had our own little privacy & just felt comfortable in the John Annie house. we had just checked out of our vacation house and wanted to stay one more day & the John Annie house was perfect for that. There’s a fully equipped kitchen and it was clean. The staff are friendly! They even let me check in early.

The floors had a couple dents in them & the tp holder was broken & the bathroom was small but not too much to complain about.

couldn’t get remote in living room to work but to tried to watch tv anyways , the front desk was a mile down the road and had a lot of cats in office and I’m allergic to them but young man at desk did come outside to get key out of outside box when we checked out. would stay again as long as I didn’t need to go in office.
