Great location in Kanchanaburi. Tranquil setting. Large room (aware two sizes)

Rooms were very dark. Despite advertising as 24hr access and checkout they made us checkout at 08.30 saying we could use another shower at 13.00 when we would be returning from our morning elephant trip. On return however they tried to get us to use the poolside (open) shower and change in toilet. Did let us use another room in the end - don’t advertise as no checkout time and then change the boundaries! Service in the restaurant was very slow - over an hour for our food to arrive. Suspect only one chef. Tasty when it came.

Amazing experience at U Inchantree. The hotel is located next to the River Kwai and recreates a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly.

Some guests with kids were rude and let the children scream or take the renting bikes to move inside the hotel. Totally inappropriate for the location and the type of hotel. They ruined the relax of our last dinner and also breakfast. I would suggest more strict rules with noisy guests.

We liked that the hotel is near the scenic river Kwai. The rooms were also very clean. Food at the peppers restaurant was also excellent. We had to leave the hotel early to catch a morning flight at Suvarnabhumi airport and the hotel kindly packed breakfast for us which was a very sweet gesture. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and I really appreciate them. One of them even entertained our kids when we were checking out places to go from the front desk staff. Highly recommended place to stay in Kanchanaburi!

The only thing really was that there was not enough bins in the room. There was only one small bin in the toilet.

Very quiet location, a bit outside the main town but only a short stroll from the bridge on the river Kwai and a train stop (we took the train back to Bangkok Thonburi from there). Very nice garden and hotel, our room was lovely, very stylish. The staff are very efficient and helpful, and very kind. The buffet breakfast is excellent value and what a pleasure to start the day with a tasty breaky with such a view of the river! Pool area is pleasant and very well maintained, there are loungers and umbrellas as well as bean bags so ample space to relax and enjoy. We asked the receptionists to help us book a car with driver for the visits and activities we had planned and we couldn't be happier with the service: our driver was just perfect, very discreet but also willing to share information when needed, careful and kind. The price was reasonable for such a quality of service, especially compared to prices in Europe... I also booked an aromatherapy massage and I can honestly say it was one of the best I ever had, total bliss.

Everything was perfect. Maybe just a tiny remark regarding the light system in the room: it may be a good idea to be able to choose between dim relaxing lights and something brighter. But that's just a detail really.

We loved the natural setting, the spacious room and very comfortable bed. Breakfast selection was very good, plenty of options to suit all tastes and nationalities. Loved the location on the river although Terrace Bar was not available when we were there. Happy hour drinks was very pleasant with lovely views across the river and towards the bridge. The Inchantree "tree" itself was lovely.

Restaurant food was ok but menu showed many different white wine choices but only one was available. Couldn't buy by the glass, only a bottle. Our room had a single bed as well as the king and we thought a small table and 2 chairs would have been more useful as there was nowhere to sit other than on the beds although there was a bar stool and high table.

We stayed for 2 nights in July and really enjoyed our time at U Inchantree. The location is ideal for a stop between Bangkok and Erawan National Park. We booked a Deluxe Garden View room, which was incredibly spacious, clean, and quiet. The king-size bed was huge, though the mattress was a bit too firm for our taste. The air conditioning worked perfectly, which was much appreciated in the heat. The gardens are beautifully lit at night, creating a peaceful and charming atmosphere. Breakfast was exceptional — great variety, good quality, and served with a stunning view of the river. The saltwater pool is pleasant and refreshing, although a bit on the small side with too few sun loungers available. The staff were absolutely lovely — kind, welcoming, and always helpful. Overall, a wonderful place to relax and unwind in Kanchanaburi. Highly recommended for a short stay!

Beautiful hotel. Incredible Rooms so relaxing Stunning location. Food amazing but expensive. Staff really lovely

We did a day trip On arrival and left our bags. We got back at around 4 pm and room was not ready. Then we were allocated the wrong room, not the interconnecting room we booked so we had to move the next day. I asked if they would offer a small compensation for example a bottle of wine with dinner, which they did but were clearly not happy. A really stunning hotel on the river Kwai just incredible.

We enjoyed the property being on the river front. The sunsets were amazing both nights. We were surprised at how much there was to do in the area. We could have easily spent 5 nights and not gone everywhere we wanted. The pool was nice. The room was clean. There was one chair in the room. Two smaller chairs on the balcony. The bed was comfortable and we had two pillows each. We loved the walk in shower that was not a tub. They had a hotel sized fridge. The staff was terrific. They were friendly and were not intrusive on our comings and goings. They were clear on amenities and information about the property. The first night the restaurant was super busy. The man was running all over to serve people at the outdoor bar, pool, and restaurant. The food was wonderful the first night and so was the service. The outdoor area is staged for photos and the lighting is beautiful.

The rooms were on the smaller side, the water in the sink was warm but the water in the shower was cold. There was only one chair but not sure how to add another. The second night the food was over priced. They substituted food which was not equivalent. When someone is paying that price for a meal all substitutions should be explained and choices given to the customer. I would have changed my order. The service by one of the ladies was sweet. She was paying attention. It was not a busy night in the restaurant. We also thought there was going to be a Halloween menu but that was not the case. It would have been fun.

The location was great. Right on the river bend - you probably can’t get better than that in Kanchanaburi town. Morning or night the view was spectacular. Facilities were clean. Breakfast was too notch- possibly one of the best varieties and qualities I have seen for a while. I had a great time exploring the district from this place - walked to the train station, museums, bridge etc fairly easily.

Pool was small and awkwardly near the restaurant, also regularly full of children (which is fine but a little small if you like personal space and tranquility). Rooms was small but sufficient and clean. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Shower temperature was either very hot or cold and water pressure sucked. Not an issue for me as I didn’t mind a cold shower after exploring in the heat but it was a random quirk that wouldn’t suit everyone.

Gorgeous spot at the far west of the river just before it bends south. Great views of the river and countryside. Staff upon check in were very helpful and their English was really good. Breakfast is actually great, despite it being a fairly small area they have lots of options. Views whilst eating lunch or breakfast or just having a beer are amazing. Nice lighting around the restaurant area. The pool has great views and well positioned even if it is a little bit small. Free parking at the hotel. A couple of really nice higher end restaurants next door and nearby. Our room was a good size and I liked the bathroom having full glass walls as it offers a glimpse into rural Thailand outside.

Pool area is a bit small and I can imagine it being over crowded at times. Aircon vent in the room was super loud, I can only assume its the same for every room. We realised we left a fairly expensive parfum after checking out, when we messaged to let the hotel know it seems the cleaning staff had already had-off with it and the hotel didnt seem to care.
