I had an excellent, safe stay here for 3 nights! I came to see Erawan Falls, temples, and WWII sites, and this was a good base for me. ATM, 7-11, restaurants, markets, and a train station very close by. I took the train from Bangkok and explored the Kanchanaburi areas using local transportation. The hotel was quiet during my stay, very clean, and staffed by friendly and helpful people. My room was on the 4th floor and was as described on Booking.com. I appreciated the size of the space, 2 chairs w small table, refrigerator, and hair dryer. The closet easily held my carry-on bag, and there were 2 pairs of slippers, 2 hangers, and 2 big umbrellas. The clean bathroom was a good size, and the shower stall was big! I didn't have any difficulty with the water temp or drainage. The ac was greatly appreciated in the June heat, as was the nice, cool pool. I didn't use the tv or restaurant. Be aware that the trash can is small; I put my extra trash in the can at the hotel front. Also, you use your room key to turn the electricity on, so don't try to power up anything while you're out and about (refrigerator shuts off, as well). There were several outlets in the room, and I also liked the lights above the beds for night reading.

I really enjoyed our two nights here. You are greeted with lots of information on arrival, and there is a huge selection of further info for places to go and things to do. The reception staff will help you with this too. They are never pushy, trying to sell expensive tours or taxis either. The free bikes were an excellent addition - you literally just pick a bike, get given a lock, and off you go! Breakfast was made fresh to order from a small menu and there was also a selection of cereals and drinks to help yourself to. Location a very short walk from the 'Bridge on the River Kwai' station (not the main Kanchanaburi station) which is very convenient if you arrive by train, or want to take the historic train route anywhere. Market nearby, a few small shops, and there are some nice restaurants from 10 minutes or so walking up the road. More can be found by cycling further out.

This stay was everything we expected - nothing to complain about for the price.

Number one by far were the staff. We have travelled Bangkok, Cambodia and Vietnam for a month . The staff at this hotel were the best! Kudos to them all. The room was spacious and clean, bed was huge and comfortable. The pool is a welcome addition for those very hot days. There was a good variety of food for the included breakfast. You could get drinks all day from the lobby shop.

The location is great in that it is near the bridge and the train station and there are a number of restaurants nearby, as well there is a 7/11 across the street and it is close to the sensational Cinnamon Coffee Shop, you have to visit. Also some massage places handy. But the real-town is about 1-2 kilometers away and that is far in plus 35-40 weather. The only small negative.

Probably the cleanest hotel I've stayed in! Everything was immaculate even under and behind the beds, which were very comfortable. Friendly and attentive staff, and location great for us as we wanted to be by the bridge.

The ONLY thing was in the lobby area they had information about the local area, tourist info and day trips ,which is great, but did include a clearly unethical elephant activity :( the activity isn't run by the hotel or anything but having it there encourages people to do it which is sad.

Great location, 2 mins walk to Kwai Bridge & Station. Market stalls close by, turning left from hotel there are bars and restaurants close by. 30 mins walk or short taxi rode to night market which is great place for food. Staff very friendly and helpful and room clean. Freshly prepared breakfast which was beautifully presented with garden flowers. Pool was a welcome relief in the heat The only negatives were the WiFi kept dropping and although the rooms were clean, they were a little tired looking. Aircon was also quite loud

Good AC, Nice big fridge freezer in the room. Plenty of hot water and good shower head Good breakfast and the staff are all so friendly welcoming & helpful

The windows are full length which is brilliant, but some net curtains or blinds would be good for a bit of privacy especially on the lower floors. We had to keep the curtain closed for privacy which isn’t ideal. Also the curtains are not black out. Absolutely no other complaints and we would definitely stay here again

The hotel is located in a more quiet neighborhood near the historic bridge over the Khwae river and the supermarket is just across the street. The room was spacious and clean. The a-la-carte breakfast was delicious. I had a scooter during my stay and found this hotel the perfect value for money.

The reception staff is lovely and smiling, but I wish their English fluency would be slightly better to accommodate better communication.

Breakfast was average. It was served, in this new hotel, in a very old fashioned way. Although, tea, coffee, orange juice and water were served buffet style, fruit, muesli (which was served in a small bowl with several lovely flowers) and cooked dishes were ordered at table and served by them through a hatch from the kitchen. There was a limited selection. The bed was very big and good and made well. The maids did a great job. The free bikes were good and needed to get into town. The pool was quite good. It cooled down dramatically when the weather changed and the air temperature dropped. This is probably because it didn’t see the sun until mid afternoon and we were there at the Winter Solstice.

The location, though right at the Bridge over the Kwai and surrounding market, was 5 long kilometres away from the town centre. If you didn’t want to cycle, there was a fun, old fashioned motorcycle with a frame open sidecar: a sort of local Tuk tuk which took you into town for 100Bts - $3. But best to arrange a return or take your driver’s phone number if you have a Thai SIM card, as we couldn’t find any waiting for the return journey.

Excellent location with a modern, clean, and spacious facility/room. Great value for money and the staff were lovely and always helpful (and understood English well). Very convenient and breakfast was also very nice.

Like many thai hotels in winter, the pool is a bit chilly (but a good way to cool down). Location excellent for the bridge and river, plus lots of local restaurants, but a small trip to get into centre of town (which doesn't really offer a lot more anyway).

I've stayed at this hotel many times before and over the years the stay has always been an excellent one. From the helpful friendly staff to the spotlessly clean rooms, bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The breakfast is very good and you can have more if you want it at no extra cost. Swimming pool is lovely and clean. Location near to the Bridge over the River Kwai excellent. I would recommend this hotel every time.

If there are three small things that are not always first class it is the the TV system which does not cater for English speakers despite changes, the internet can sometimes be intermittent and the showers with hot water can be a little difficult to set.
