The hotel was on a small, quiet street outside of the town and around 5-10 minutes walk to the River Kwai bridge and the surrounding busy area. There a plenty of nice restaurants, cafes and street food around the bridge and around the hotel. The room was spacious and had plenty of room for our toddler to run around. It's very modern, sleek and boutique, and it feels like an expensive boutique hotel that you would usually find in the middle of a city. The rooftop pool was great and although we had some translation issues with some staff, they were very helpful and accomodating. Breakfast is small but is a good start to the day. Sunsets and beach bars near the river are also highly recommended.

They have a very nice restaurant area which is only used for breakfast and then nothing else is available during the day or evening (it was possibly as it was off-season, so maybe this would change during the busy season). It was a shame as it is a nice area to maybe relax and have a coffee if there was the facility for it.

A hotel trying hard to revel in post industrial chic and coming up just a little short- dark and austere depending on your mood. Enormous room, but without much decoration. Bathroom all worked fine. Bed was nice and hard. Lovely jungle from the terrace. Staff meant well but some seemed inexperienced. Never got a chance to use the pool as first rains for 3 months appeared ! Only a 15 min stroll to the River, many local eateries on the way. In truth a 7/10 for me, but my Chinese wife loved it.

Always find it insulting when asked to choose breakfast a day before, and from only 3 sets. Very much for local tastes but some nice stylish touches helped you overlook the food a bit. Part of the enigmatic image of this hotel means that it's very hard to recognise from the road or actually find the lobby- we wernt the only ones getting lost we noticed.

Room was very big and clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff were super nice and helpful. Pool view is amazing. In room massage service for 400-450 TBH.

Shower stream was very weak to the point it was hard to take a proper shower. Noise isolation wasn't great, on Friday there was a concert somewhere nearby and the music was disturbing, if you have noisy neighbors you will hear them. There is no elevator and it was hard to come and go with the stroller, good thing we were on the 2nd floor and the staff helped us when we asked for help. The pool is on the roof so lots of stairs to take to get there, also there is no ladder or stairs to go into the pool, you gotta jump in and climb out of the pool. Breakfast has 3 meal options which we didn't really like. There were also ants on the fruits box in the breakfast buffet.

Staff were amazing and very helpful! Especially reception staff. We booked a private taxi through them for an entire day of travels. When we had to check out early to catch the train to BKK, the staff offered to pack the breakfast for us and called the taxi as well. The hotel is located at a quiet yet accessible area, walking distance to River Kwai Bridge and many restaurants. Big room with nice rustic ambience. Beautiful scenery of jungle from the balcony as well. There’s also a rooftop pool and pool table which we enjoyed.

Showering experience: Shower water spray was weak and shower head is fixed. Therefore to be under the shower, you would have to step into a step-down drainage area. Was also hard to get hot water.

The staff were a pleasure, the room and balcony were huge, the beds were comfy, and the breakfast was better than expected. Would stay again.

In room 206 the bottom shower seal needs replacing as it would soak the bathroom floor. The aircon was freezing, even after we’d reduced the fan setting and increased the temperature, so bring warm pyjamas. The lighting in the bathroom could be improved because it was very dark and hard to see in the mirror. The balcony could do with a table for setting a drink down and enjoying the scenery more comfortably.

Great facilities, exceptionally clean and modern design, friendly hotel staff helped with baggage. Loved the balcony overlooking the trees and listening to the birds in the morning. Breakfast was lovely, really authentic. Lovely quiet retreat outside of Bangkok. Really close to the River Kwai bridge and war museums (short drive). Overall, very relaxing. Not much in Kanchanaburi by way of exciting night life but I think that, and the history, is why people come here. Would recommend.

Great location that suited is as we wanted to be within walking distance of the bridge. Not a short walk but close enough. The staff were great and the room was good. Very comfortable bed. There is a very tasty restaurant just 50m away from the hotel. Breakfast was included and a nice way to start the day.

The swimming pool needs a ladder installed. It was very hard to get out of the pool. We would have used it more if there was a ladder.

Everything was perfect. A beautiful pool, an amazingly well-designed hotel, restaurant, and rooms. The mattresses were very comfortable—we had the best sleep of our entire 3.5-week trip. The service was top-notch—very helpful, making us feel well taken care of in every way. They gladly answered our questions and provided travel tips. We highly recommend it from the bottom of our hearts!

The place is beautiful! All minimalistic and well designed, feels a bit Japanese in style. The rooms are very big and comfortable, great bad, great pool.

It feels like the small details are not 100% - The water power in the shower is not great, there is not enough space inside the bathroom to hang more then one towel and so on. But these are small things.

The location is awesome, in the middle of the city, walkable distance to the river kwai bridge (which is the main attraction of kanchanaburi) staffs are friendly and very helpful. The place is amazing, well decorated. Super comfortable to stay. Breakfast is exceptional. Huge portion and very delicious. I love almost everything. Also nice restaurants near by.
