It's such a gorgeous location on the river and next to the floating sitting area. When boats pass you sway with the waves and it's wonderful and relaxing! There was a shared bathroom very close by and the price is great for such a memorable stay on the water. There's a cafe you can get great latter beyond the restaurant area. The bed was big and the property beautiful! I loved having so many little tables around on the grass to have something to eat or work. WiFi was good in the room and the common areas and the centre of town within walking distance.

The plug was not close to the bed so it was a bit uncomfortable swapping the fan and the laptop etc. but nothing major.

The location, just a couple of hundred yards from the bridge was excellent, riverside, with a nice grassy area for sitting. My room was a basic, not zircon, but it was a floating room on th lake. It wasn’t big, but for the price was better than expected. An unusual benefit was that being on the water, every time a boat went past, the wash would cause the room to rock gently. Great for rocking you to sleep. I had breakfast in the restaurant and it was buffet style but lovely. You will get a warm welcome from the friendly staff and the coffee shop is right by the reception so ideal to wait if like me you arrive early. Ok for families as there is some play equipment on the grass.

I can’t think of anything I didn’t like, but I now know I do need air conditioned rooms as whilst the fan was adequate, it was very hot.

This is our 2nd stay here, I love how friendly the staff are and how relaxing the environment is. This hotel is located on the banks of the River Kwai and very close to the bridge. A great base for exploring Kanchanaburi and is within a 10 min walk to Saphan Khwae Yai Station. The hotel has a great cabin style vibe and is rustic but very clean, I love this style of hotel for trips around rural Thailand

We stayed in the concrete building which overlooked a small garden and was peaceful enough for a decent sleep. The bigger garden with the wooden houses looked prettier near a great view of the river. For a 2 day stay it was perfect though, with decent internet and the staff were kind and friendly. The breakfast lady and work up a nice fried rice or eggs to your liking. Decently located with just a short walk away from other eateries and bike rentals.

Great location, nice and quiet by the river but just a short walk to the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai. The owner is very helpful and arranged a private taxi tour to Hellfire Pass at the last minute. Short walk to many restaurants.

All mattresses in Thailand are hard, but this one was lumpy too. I flipped it over (hearing some metal bits move around) and it was much better.

Location is perfect, just a short walk from the bridge, the cabins are beautiful and clean and the grounds are well managed, staff are very friendly and helpful,perfect place to explore the area.

Just a word of warning if you book a cabin on the water they do move when a boat passes the wake rocks the cabin just slightly which might be a problem for some.

Great location, with water view, close to River Kwai Bridge. Lots of little restaurants, bars, and markets in walking distance. There are plenty of transport options on the main road to town centre and bus station 5-10 minutes away.

Our room was nice, but very dark, and the bathroom had some mould. There was a bar fridge but no tea or coffee making facility and no safe

The environment is very quiet and pleasant. We booked two room types, Hip room style and Hut. The room facilities are simple but clean. The bed in the Hip room style was in good condition and very comfortable,。For the price it's well worth it. .

The bed in the Hut style room is old and uncomfortable.

Cosy bamboo huts right next to the river. A short drive to local shops, and adequate restaurants within walking distance. As something "different" to the normal hotel/motel experience, it's a fun place to stay a day or two. The room is comfortable and adequate for a short stay.

Bearing in mind the room is a bamboo hut, don't expect the highest level of modern conveniences.
