The resort is a little paradise! We love every bit of it! The place is located right across the river, it is surrounded by nature, you can even see the mountains on the left and no buildings across on that side. You don’t hear the sound of cars or motorcycles. The gardens in the resort are amazing, there is detail in every corner! This is excellence! If you want to jog a bit in the resort, you can do it. One round is about 2 km. If you want to swim you can also do it, there is an extra swimming pool. If you want to chill, you can enjoy the round swimming pool surrounded by palm trees. It is possible to easily access the other side of the river by just crossing the famous bridge by foot, it just takes 5-7 minutes.

We love the resort. The only thing that could not keep with the very high standards of the resort was the restaurant. The breakfast was fine. They also offer western food, hamburger was pretty good, the steak average. Thai food was ok.

Great resort overall with nice large rooms and good pool facilities; the nature surrounding the resort is very well maintained and a pleasure to be around, the room terrace is a huge plus. We had breakfast once and the selection was good. Location wise is a 10min walk from the famous bridge and next to the river. Staff is very nice and attentive. overall a nice place for couple of nights but it could be way better with some upgrades on facilities and services.

While it's a clean property it's dated in some aspects, the room's bathroom is especially dated and some of the facilities around the pools have seen better days, they are not dirty but could use an upgrade. There's quite little option for food ordering outside at the pool and the options are very European in choice which was disappointing.

The room was a good size, very clean with everything you could possibly need provided. The grounds were perfect for strolling in with two pools for either relaxing or exercising. The hotel was situated next to the river and within a few minutes walk to the Bridge Over the River Kwai and the market.

The amount of stairs to access the top floor room, although porters were readily available to take luggage. If you have difficulty with stairs, request a ground floor. The only other thing we didn’t like about the property was the very rough surrounds of the pools, take flip-flops if you want to swim.

Lovely big room, room service, a big pool and grounds with river views

I made a mistake with the location, whilst it is 6 mins from the bridge.. it is the far side of a pedestrian bridge. It actually is not in town so not so near restaurants, cafes or shops. Getting a grab taxi is not always so easy later in the evening. The hotel complex does have good room service and serves drinks, which were nice. There is a lovely pool but going out in the evening requires a taxi really.

The staff were all fabulous and very polite and helpful. Although in the restaurant, it was slow service and although we weren’t in a rush, we had to wait at times to get what we wanted. The manager changed us to a different room as we had booked a river view but a tree was obstructing our view so it was very easily rectified and he was great at sorting the issue out

Huge resort surrounded by beautiful gardens with lovely two swimming pools. The location little far from the downtown if you don’t have your own transportation. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with large balcony. The only downside were the stairs difficult to climb for elderly people, you may request ground level rooms if available. Great breakfast with lots of varieties. I highly recommend this beautiful resort.

Beautiful grounds, pool fabulous, staff very friendly and helpful, had other commitments arise, allowed us to leave early and receive refund. Short walk to river kwai bridge and town markets. Suitable for all, couple , families, groups, single

NOT A DEAL BREAKER you asked what I didnt like 🙂 Breakfast was ok, but not kept warm, it would be a good idea to cook as asked, maybe eggs bacon pancakes patongo cold. Among others. But didn't bother that much, ate different. Lighting ok , could use a main light, instead of turning on all lights , for suitable brightness.

Nice resort, with spacious rooms. But the rooms could use an update. Bathroom is quite old. Swimming pool is large but there are more than 200 rooms, so in the afternoon all pool beds were taken, and this was low season... Staff is great

Breakfast is average, coffee old style on a hot plate. A couple of ants and a rare cockroach in the bathroom. But in general it was clean.

- Very nice Pool area - Huge room (we had the luxury suite, which was basically 3 rooms in one) - Beautiful view over the river Kwai and within walking distance to the bridge.

- Certain parts were not well maintained or a bit dated. Uncomprehensible for example was the presence of really dirty and worn out chairs by the pool (right next to the modern and decent lounge chairs) - No umbrellas near the Pool for shade: there is some protection from a few trees but if the area is busy expect to be in the sun all day. - Breakfast options were plentiful (both western and asian) but some options were not very good (for examples the waffles or french toast were not very good)

This is a spectacular resort in Kanchanaburi. The structure is quite old but the room and common space are truly huge, moreover the the wood finishing and very pleasant. The breakfast and restaurant are great, but the very gem is the garden with two spectacular swimming pools.

The resort is located outside Kanchanaburi and it is located along the river, so you won't be disturbed by traffic or city disturbance, on the other hand you will need to call a taxi every time you have to leave the resort. The room needs a refurbishment, especially on the bath room. We try to manage some services with the staff (i.e. book a day at the elephants, book a day to the waterfall, etc...) but the staff at the desk has problems to communicate in English and that caused some problems.
