It’s a beautiful property in a lovely town. Our room was gorgeous with a few of the ocean and a double bathtub on the balcony.

When you arrive, you are approached by epic travelers, which is a pressured sales job to buy membership to other hotels they are associated with. they arrange a meeting with you which takes about two hours and then pressure you to spend $50,000. We had no idea what it was about, and it was the start of our trip, which made it uncomfortable and upsetting . It felt sleazy, and it was hard to trust the staff after that terrible experience . The hotel itself is gorgeous, the front desk, staff and servers are lovely. I highly suggest when epic travelers approach to you you just say no, and walk away and not get pulled in. Even though the hotel was great, we saw these people all week while we were at the hotel, and it was so upsetting to me. We probably would not go back.

Lovely pools, great beach and rooftop bar, comfortable beds, nice beach which was kept clean of seaweed by the staff. Quiet place, very helpful staff. Free bicycles to borrow. Strong wifi.

I had booked a partial oceanfront view and got a room tucked into a dark corner, with mainly a view to a wall and only a glimpse of the ocean when standing right by the edge of the balcony. Apparently I had pretty much the worst room in the hotel, on the ground floor, and all rooms above ground floor have a view. All balconies are not private, the partitions are see-through.

The AC was difficult to figure out and you cannot move where it hits which is right on the bed. So if you have it on, you’ll have “wind” on you all night. Staff at front desk were kind but felt overwhelmed most times. Getting hold of them by phone can be difficult. Breakfast and restaurant food & cocktails are not worth it at all but there nice restaurants nearby. Breakfast food and coffee were always cold upon arrival.

We had a wonderful time just relaxing by the beach, rooftop pool and even the room’s balcony, which was decently sized. Although we were on accommodation only, we really enjoyed our time. The place is 10-15min walk to the lovely town center that has many dining options. The place is lovely, fancy and clean and convenient.

We were invited to have a free breakfast and some welcome vouchers to spend at the hotel in exchange of 90min of our time where they’d show us the installations for promotion purposes. We accepted as we were on accommodation only and sounded like fun but turned out to be a quite heavy marketing sales breakfast including the viewing of one room to then be offered the possibility to invest in the residences and so on and so forth. This lasted for 3 hours as they wouldn’t take no for an answer and kinda left a bad taste for the rest of the day.

Great location right on the beach, beautiful views from our room, quiet, relaxing and friendly and helpful staff.

Would have preferred a buffet style breakfast. We stayed 12 nights and the menu got very repetitive

Fantastic hotel with spacious new bedrooms anc walking distance from the village. I felt safe and I loved walking on the beach. The hotel staff is so helpful and friendly.

There are class A and class B guests, depending on the package they bought. I only had breakfast included, and I could see the difference in they way they treated all-inclusive guests. Breakfast is not a buffet, and service can be a bit slow and portions small. I could only order 2 things off the menu. It was my birthday, and I communicated it before my arrival and at check-in. They never did anything about it. It's only when I told restaurant staff on the day that they were great about it and surprised me with a little celebration, which was actually super nice.

Great location, great view from our room and a great setting to walk or just chill. We had a junior suite which gave us lots of room and a kitchen which we couldn’t use completely. Staff very friendly and left you alone if you showed no interest in buying anything.

Not enough sun beds on beach and drinks a bit expensive Disappointed we booked a junior suite with kitchen and then the kitchen contained no utensils, plates anything unless we paid extra for that facility. What is the point in having a kitchen

Large room, clean and only 2 years old. Pools were very nice but wish they were a bit deeper. oceanfront and walkable to beach clubs and snorkeling

Hallways were dank, a bit narrow and smelled badly. Staff continuously raked seaweed off the beach but the smell of rotting seaweed kept wafting over. limited food options; don't get the all inclusive as the town has lots of better tasty options

We had a wonderful stay at The Fives Oceanfront. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome and special. Our room was stunning and it was kept incredibly clean throughout our stay. The pools and beach area were beautiful and all the restaurants were lovely too… great drinks and food during our visit. All of the staff were very attentive and they all had smiles on their faces and politely and kindly greeted us and checked in on us throughout the stay. We loved our stay at The Fives Oceanfront and only wish we could have stayed longer!

Shortage of beach beds compounded by greedy other guests claiming them from 6.30 am but often not appearing on the beach until midday. Hotel management should “unclaim” beds not used for 2 hours or claimed before 8.00 am but seem frightened to do so. Foul undrinkable coffee served with breakfast
