The hostel was impressively clean, making for a comfortable stay. The person at the reception is incredibly cool and friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. As a lovely touch, they gave us stickers and sweets as a goodbye gift, which added a personal and memorable touch to our departure. Additionally, the breakfast included was a great start to the day. The other guests were also very respectful, creating a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. Overall, "Mamas and Papas" exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay.

Fantastic staff, make you feel right at home. It's set in a quiet, rural location along side the Canal. The garden is a great place to relax after a day of exploration. The staff at the hostel was great and very kind, giving tips about Gdansk, joining the conversation, and even offered me to stay there one night extra (for free) when my other hostel canceled my reservation last-minute. The overall hygiene of the hostel was also really good, beds were cleaned on a daily basis, and the no-shoe-inside policy made sure every room was very sanitized and pleasurable to be in. Besides that the people staying at the hostel were also nice, which added to the overall vibe. Sadly enough, I didn't get to join the free BBQ but the fact they had one really proves my point that this hostel cares about the visitors and are not out to make a quick buck. For people that are worried that the location isn't in the city center, don't be, for a couple of reasons. For one, public transportation made it very easy to go to the city center (approx. 12 min). Secondly, the fact that it was outside the city center meant that it had a really nice garden where you could enjoy a coffee to get the day started, and lastly, even if you're on a night out there's always the option of grabbing a cheap Uber back to the hostel. 10/10

We loved the decorations and super friendly staff! The bed was comfortable and there were plenty of wifi connections so it worked well on all the floors.

It’s a bit far from the center but there are plenty of buses that get you there quickly. The residential area made it feel really safe.

the hostel is not usual "city" kind of hostel. basically it's just a big family house with garden where people live together and that's what makes the place so magical! cozy atmosphere, nice staff, good price. breakfast is very simple but absolutely worth the price. 100% recommend!

Genuinely some of the friendliest staff I’ve met, amazing social atmosphere, breakfast provided, and super easy to get to and from the city center by bus. I wish I stayed longer just so that I could spend more time inside of the hostel! Felt like I was visiting/staying with friends 💓
