The hotel was absolutely wonderful and made our whole trip to Gdansk magical! It's slapbang in the middle of the historical centre in a gorgeous building. We were able to stay in a family room which is always nice for us with our 3 children. The room was super clean, comfortable and cosy with excellent aircon and mostly soundproof windows. We already knew that the street might be noisy, the hotel equips guests with earplugs but, thanks to the aircon, we didn't need to use the earplugs as we could keep our windows shut and enjoy a perfectly good night's sleep. There was also a fridge and tea/coffee-making facilities in the room which was wonderful. Breakfast was one of the best we've ever had (and we've eaten many hotel breakfasts all over the world), high quality and a wide range, mainly cold items but hot scrambled eggs and bacon. The staff were all friendly, polite and professional. This hotel really made the holiday perfect for us and we hope to return again soon one day!

Beautiful building, decorated and historic style outside and all modern within. This hotel is in a fantastic location and is very easy to find. Staff were friendly; One young lady in particular very welcoming and accommodating and helped us with our polish! The Hotel is accessible with a lift to all floors, rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. This area can be noisy in Friday and Saturday nights but that is to be expected given the location. However double glazing was pretty good and earplugs are provided! Hotel has a very nice restaurant/bar attached which is open late, and free coffee is provided in the reception along with facilities in rooms. The building is easy to get in/out at any time of day and luggage store is available. Would highly recommend both this hotel and Gdansk for a holiday especially whilst St Dominic's fair is on.

I have no complaints! Everything was very good indeed. As a general point Gdansk is more expensive than some parts of Poland but that is more than made up with all there is to do and the beautiful location, this hotel offers good value in a rather (by Polish standards) pricey city.

Great location, lovely old building, beautiful window and view down the street, friendly and helpful reception staff, lovely breakfast with good quality produce. Clean room.

Safe was in the floor of the wardrobe so quite tricky to get in, especially for someone more elderly, no light nearby so difficult to see in too, easily remedied by moving onto side. When the maid came in to do our room, which only happened once, she didn't tidy our bed or wipe around the sink which I expected to be standard practice. Two minor details other than that a fabulous stay and I would go back and recommend

This was my second stay at Fama Residence, and once again, it exceeded my expectations. The location is absolutely unbeatable—right in the heart of the Old Town, with the charm of Gdańsk’s historic streets, countless cafes, restaurants, and shops just steps away. The lively city buzz right outside the window adds a wonderful energy to the experience. The rooms are stylish, clean, and very comfortable, with everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable visit. The staff are consistently welcoming and helpful, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. Fama Residence has become my go-to place when visiting Gdańsk, and I look forward to staying again. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the true heart of the city!

Everything was perfect

The location is absolutely excellent! It is very near The Golden Gate right inside the beautiful pedestrianised old historic centre. Neptune's Fountain and The Town Hall are within walking distance. An abundance of restaurants and cafes are right on your doorstep.

It's really noisy at night but that wasn't a problem for us. There's a constant lively buzz of people out and about laughing and talking. It's nice really but if you want dead silence at night just close the thick double glazing windows. We loved the windows open and the cool fresh air coming in. There's also air conditioning in the room. We wanted to be in the heart of the Old Town. For us the location was fabulous and wonderful.

Located right at the end of the Dluga strip, it doesn’t get much better location wise. Fabulous room with big windows and view up the strip it was fabulously comfortable and pristine clean. Bed was super comfy too. Clean and modern. Well worth the little money it cost.

It didn’t affect us as we were there midweek, but being right in the action, I can imagine it gets noisy wi the people eating and drinking in and around the area. The hotel did supply little foam earplugs and it’s also warned when you book there may be noise, but as I said, midweek, wasn’t an issue for us.

Great location, just a very short (5 min?) walk to the nearest tram stop, with quick access to Gdansk main train station. I was met by friendly staff and had a very easy check in and check out experience. The property is right on the colorful and picturesque Dluga street, but it's not too loud, surprisingly. I did request a room on a high floor to minimize street noise anyway. I can't comment on the restaurant as I didn't eat there during my stay, but it's a nice option to have. Two bottles of water were included in the room, though it would have been nice to have a kettle for tea (or a coffee maker). Netflix is accessible on the TV, which is a huge plus! Has a lift/elevator, which is super helpful for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. I'd stay here again!

The mini fridge was quite loud and I had to unplug it. As stated previously, it would have been nice to have a kettle or coffee maker. Bed was pretty hard, though some people do prefer that.

great location. Perfect view from the window. Nice details, like earplugs. People who work there are extremely helpful and friendly, the restaurant with breakfast was also good and the breakfast itself was adorable. Also location - in the very city center, great for walking in the evening, in the morning and whenever) Very happy with my stay, I was with 2 kids and we enjoyed every minute. Special thanks to the young lady at reception who helped us with lots of questions!

Nothing, just you need to know that the car cant get directly to the entrance. I had 3 suitcases and didnt know it. But the taxi stop is just less than 1 minute walking, so not a problem and quite normal for centric location

The hotel was perfectly located just inside the Golden Gate. Both the main railway station and the bus stop from the airport were close by. We ate a pleasant meal in the adjoining restaurant the first evening and had the buffet breakfast on the second day. The food was good , only negative was that I am quite fussy eater and none of the breakfast items were labelled

We had a twin room and whilst the bed was comfy it was very narrow

There was an excellent choice at breakfast. Cooked items ,fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, cereals and pastries. Plenty to set you up well for the day. Great position on the main street, easy to walk everywhere. Staff friendly and helpful.

Rooms were a little bland, white and grey. However beds very comfortable. Some noise from the street at night which is only to be expected considering it is so centrally situated, but earplugs provided and it did not bother us.
