One of the workers displayed the Palestinian flag. I didn't want to provoke that, so I blocked it. I don't accept this phenomenon in a place that serves all countries in the world, especially Israelis.

The hotel was ideally situated about 10 minutes walk from the main town. It was very quiet in the hotel and room was warm and clean with tea making facilities. Excellent shower. Pool and sauna were very good too

The bed was quite small but other than that the hotel was a very good choice

Fantastic location, very close to the centre of the old town. Hotel pool was a great facility to avail of. The staff were always friendly and helpful especially allowing us to upgrade a double room to a twin room on arrival. Our group enjoyed trying all of the different varieties of ciders in the cider bar.

The sauna was out of service for the duration of our stay.

Most of all I liked the staff. Swimming pool and sauna were closed for the first half of our trip, so they offered complimentary dinner. It was a very nice touch. Location is quite good, only few minutes walk and you in the old town. Breakfast buffet had a big variety of food. There was only one sauna and small swimming pool, but still quite nice for relaxing in the end of the day.

Location excellent, warm comfortable rooms, free apples in reception was a nice touch, water machines were provided on all floors, with a jug in the room to use which was excellent. Bar prices were reasonable for a hotel.

Dressing gowns were not very good quality and too small for my husband who is XL, Towels were small for bath towels. In the pool area the water lying in the dressing room made it extremely slippy and possibly dangerous

The gym is basically just a single room with one treadmill, one exercie bike, and a few dumbbells

The hotel has an excellent location, just a short distance from central Gdańsk.

The air conditioning, even when set to 16 degrees on a hot day, struggles to keep the room cool. The rooms are relatively small, despite the upgrade, and the bathroom is fairly basic.

Rooms had a good size, hotel was central, restaurant and cocktails were outstanding, breakfast was really good. I like the pool it was heated so it was not too cold. Everybody was nice and willing to help.

Couldn’t of been more accommodating - including allowing us 2 extra hours in the room free and then to put our bags in the bag store and use the pool facilities until our airport transfer picked us up. The foyer bar is cozy but we loved the cyder garden. Such a nice aesthetic for a few late drinks. the barman with the ginger hair and beard was really friendly and chatty and remembered us each evening. Great location. Nice rooms. Just 5 mins walk to the riverside where you’ll find bars and restaurants, or cross the bridge and you’re at the start of Old Town. There’s a large supermarket on the corner of the road maybe 100m from the hotel which is useful. We were able to walk to most of the things we wanted to see, or staff ordered us a taxi. I’m Highly recommend Gdansk and Hotel Sadova. We hope to stay again soon!!

We had to ask to have our mini bar restocked. It wasn’t checked and done automatically, but other than that, no issues at all, and that was minor. Not a complaint - but a tip - when having breakfast, note that as well at the main servery there’s a smaller one opposite with waffles and pancakes with various toppings, and yoghurts with toppings. We only had breakfast one day and didn’t see it until we were leaving, which was disappointing. Also the juices at breakfast are very watery and tasteless, they could be better quality. Other than those minor things, we had no issues at all.

The property is very beautiful and modern. The room was comfortable and had a very good size. The bathroom installation was also good, with a good shower and large sink countertop. Everything was very clean and organized (room, corridors, reception, restaurant).. the hotel is very close to the old town, the canal and its many restaurants.
