Room was huge and comfy. Only downsize was bathroom which was a little worn out. But overall I recommend this hotel. Breakfeast was awesome, and food in restaurant was tasty and restaurant itself is very comfy.

The area is walking distance to tourist spots. Breakfast has different variety of foods. Place is safe and clean.

Easy access from the airport, I took the bus, then walked to the hotel. Other options are available. Both buses and trams stops are very close. The Old Town of Gdansk, War Museum and The European Solidarity Centre again with walking distance or public transport. I was there for 3 nights and the breakfast at the hotel had a good range of food. The staff were all polite and helpful. My room was for solo occupancy. 417 top floor lighting was very good. I had only a small window on the floor level,which wasn't a problem. I was out all day. I'd quite happily stay there again

Really lovely options for breakfast and always topped up. Location brilliant just a short walk into town with lots of lovely buildings, cafes, restaurants and shops. Really quiet and comfortable beds.

Nothing more the hotel could do we loved it!!! Nothing to do with the hotel but we got the train to Dom Muzyka. Walked out of the station towards the front of the taxi rank. A man took us towards the back and into a car. None of us can remember if it had taxi on it but when he dropped us off he insisted on 70 zlotys. I checked at reception she said should be no more than 20 zlotys and couldnt apologise enough for our experience!!

Safe, quiet, clean, within walking distance to/from Stare Miasto and stop for 2 tram lines a couple of minutes away to/from hotel. A bottle of water was served every day to room. Sweet dishes at breakfast buffet: a lot of varieties, including fresh fruit (even plums, apricots) and several kinds of homemade cakes (every day different cakes. Good cafe and very efficient dining room staff. Friendly and available staff.

Pillows were worn out. Easy to feel that they were falling apart. I spent 3 nights at Dom Muzyka in April 2025 and breakfast was at the time fabulous. During my recent stay, the salted cooked dishes were repetitive - only some kinds of sausage, onions, cabbage stews barely nobody ate and same pots were offered every day with the hope that some clients would finish them

Excellent hotel, located in a quiet and peaceful area, yet just a five-minute walk from the tourist hub. The hotel occupies one of the buildings of a music academy. It has a large, enclosed green area with parking and spots for relaxation. The hotel’s common areas are very spacious. The room was bright, large, and clean. The bed linen and towels were of good quality. The bathroom was spacious, with enough hooks, but there was no shelf in the shower to place shampoo or soap. The all-purpose shampoo was of good quality. Housekeeping was done daily, and tea/coffee and shampoo were replenished every day. Breakfast was very good, with a wide selection of salads and appetizers in addition to the standard fare of sausages, bacon, and cold cuts. You could order an omelet with various ingredients, cooked right in front of you. The variety of dishes was so extensive that it was impossible to try everything, especially since the selection changed daily. You can have breakfast outside if the weather allows. We definitely recommend this hotel — excellent value for money.”

The water drains poorly in the shower when the pressure is high. A shelf in the shower is really missing.

This is a lovely hotel, which is steeped in history, originally built as Prussian military barracks in1868. We enjoyed breakfast, trying different foods to what we would normally eat, a toaster would have been a bonus, and perhaps the choice of porridge, nice spacious warm room, comfy beds, overlooking courtyard, nice & quiet (104), great shower. The location was great, a short pleasant walk into a beautiful City, where you could spend days there, and still find something you have not seen, the Ferris wheel was well worth going on, and value for money £7.50. The transport network was great, and most locals spoke English if you need help. We found in general that the locals were very friendly, and welcoming. There are literally hundreds of restaurants to choose from, we tried the locals cafe, Stolowka Gdanska, which is near the hotel, turn left out of the hotel, then right on t junction, past the church on the left, where you get 2 courses for the equavalent of £5.00, the menu was in Polish, however the girl helped us, it was a great experience, and food was very homemade & tasty. The hotel organised the taxis both ways, to & from the airport, slightly different prices, going there 110 zloty (£21), return, 90zloty (£17.50). (fixed price).

A toaster for breakfast, and choice of porridge. The restaurant to be more flexible for late arrivals, as kitchen closes at 9pm, we had time for main meal, but were out of time for a desert.

Great location a few minutes walk from the old town within private grounds and carpark. There was an outside area for breakfast and a grassy area with deckchairs where we sat in the evening. A wide selection of breakfast items and eggs cooked to order. We had a good size room and comfortable bed. There was a fridge, a coffee tray, and fresh bottled water each day. Quiet at night.

The hotel shares its building and grounds with a music school. We could hear music practice throughout the day. Fortunately it was good music and we were out nearly all day. There was no practice in the evenings. The hotel backs on to a main road which our room overlooked. If you want some air in your room, it's noisy with the window open, but well insulated from the noise when closed.
