Location is fantastic, start of the old town is literally across the road. Meaning everything is on your doorstep. Hostel was clean and toilets and showers were cleaned regularly by the staff and there is multiple toilets/showers on each floor. Each room has a tv and a fan plus multiple plug sockets. Property was very easy to find on Google maps and check in and out was really easy and those working the reception are very friendly and happy to help with anything. Fantastic value for money given the price we paid. And Gdansk as a whole is a fantastic city. Really enjoyed our stay here.

If I had to state anything negative about this place the only one possible thing I would say is that the mattresses are very thin. But given the price we paid I really can’t complain.

I liked the play room for children. It's super nice for children of the age 2-5 I guess. The kitchen has almost everything. The location is super great. the bathroom was almost every time free. You can leave bags there after you leave the rooms. I had a great look out of my window

The bathroom was a bit dirty, but guess it's the fault of the other people who lived there. The beds were a bit small but maybe that's always with beds. Maybe they can sew the thing under the mattress on the beds, they weren't sewed on.. It had no window to open, you can only use AC which I had to use a lot for some air and it's super expensive for the owner I guess. An open window would have saved the money of it. I don't like AC at all 😕

It was my very first time to stay in a hostel, I was a bit nervous about it but I had a great stay. Location of the hostel is just amazing. We came for st doninikan fair and it was the perfect spot. Lots of cafes and restaurants, and beautiful marina, and short walk to Neptune fountain. It was very easy to follow instructions from the email on how to enter and get the keys. Room was clean, bed comfortable and bed linen clean. Amenities in the room were simple but everything we needed. Carpet could be refreshed or changed to something easier to clean. There were bathrooms on every level of the building. Kitchen and social room were very handy, although I was there for a short city break and I was dining out, there were all the basics to cook there and then.

Bathrooms could be cleaned more often or there could be possibly chemicals available for guests to clean. Our neighbours from rooms next to ours weren't very clean, therefore I bought bathroom cleaner to sanitise whenever we wanted to use the bathroom. Not enough toilet paper.

Most things were excellent and we were given a 4-bedroom room to ourselves for 2 ppl. Friendly staff and tidy. Fantastic location in the city. Definitely recommend and definitely would stay again.

The only thing was that the towels were not readily offered so thought they were not included. I read the next day on the information on the door that we could have asked for them but this was in small writing and saw it too late so don't forget to ask for a towel. Would have been nice for them to be on the bed. Otherwise full marks.

Great location- literaly in the Old Town. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Staff super friendly. They accepted my assistance dog ( which got an ear infection pretty much on arrival and had to stay in the room most of the Time). Easy access to the Hostel after hours. Great kitchen facilities - two fridges, kettles etc. We had room 7, no lift, but that wasnt a problem for us. Plenty of room.

There were school groups. Kids were up till 2-3 am, gathering at the stair case being bery noisy. Staff dealt with them. However it wasnt the hotel's fault but the group leaders/teachers that didnt keep the kids under control.

I enjoyed the private rooms & the staff were very kind and helpful. Responded fast on booking.com to my many questions. Very close to public transportation and nearby attractions. There were 2 bathrooms per floor, at least on mine but was never busy when I needed to shower or use the restroom. Clean bathrooms and good water pressure. I like that there was a mop so it wouldn’t be wet on the floor after use. Room was small but I didn’t feel cramped at all. With a small desk and chair.

My bed was very very very creaky, I didn’t mind it so much I just felt that I was bothering others in other rooms when I moved around since I was on the 2nd floor. The other guests were a loud around 10pm every night, I wasn’t going to make a big fuss and call the reception or anything just a bit annoying.

The walls are too thin, which means that you hear everything and that’s quite annoying. Especially when you are trying to sleep but some people on another floor is playing music and partying in the middle of the night. Would be nice with more curtains. We only had one curtain that did not even cover the whole window and the small windows did not have anything.

- I booked a single room with private bathroom, but I got a quadruple room (a bunk bed and two single beds) with a private bathroom for myself. More bedspace of course. But it's not what I booked and wasn't informed in advance. - mattress too thin and old, you could feel the bed frame

Really well located,in the center of the old town, not noisy at all. All facilities were always clean and tidy Staff were polite and very helpfull

Just a quick note, something to be considered if you are like me and have the habit to wake up during the night for a loo. We stayed on room 21 on the 3rd floor and toilets was on the 2nd floor. It's not very handy for me
