The location was good for access to the Old Town area however it was very hard to find the hotel upon arrival. My GPS was telling me I had arrived but the hotel was nowhere to be seen. Turns out it was on a pedistrian only street a block away. I was not expecting that. The room was comfortable although the hallways were a little dark and it was difficult to navigate. There are lots of restaraunts nearby but breakfast choices were somewhat lacking so be prepared to search them out if you desire a good breakfast. The manager went above and beyond to deal with a misunderstanding about the charges appearing on my receipts, even coming in on her day off to speak to me in person.

Dealing with the parking was rather difficult. See above, plus - There is nowhere to pull up and drop off luggage so we did an awkward dance with pulling up to a handicapped space (luckily I have a US placard athough it isn't necessarily legal in Poland), finding the hotel on a side street, determining how to access garage (the ramp was terrifying BTW!!!), going back for luggage (the desk person helped which was so sweet) and then going back to move the car. Lastly, we were not advised the garage space was divided into 3 spots (it presented as 2) and we later had to go back to move the car so it was literally up against a wall.

The hotel is located right in the heart of old town, near to really nice restaurants. Hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. The view from the room was also lovely x

In the room there was only one pillow on the bed and the bed was made only for one person which is what I booked for however it just didn’t look that nice. Most of the time the bed makes the room when it’s made in a really nice way. I guess I was expecting more since it’s supposed to be a 4 star hotel. The room was very dusty and the bathroom as well. The carpet underneath the bed was extremely dirty, looks like people who stay in the room walked on it with their dirty shoes. Not what you’d expect for 1000zl for two nights.

The hotel was well situated. A bit on the end of Old Town, but it made it very easy to walk around, and I was able to be everywhere in about a 10-minute walk. Lots of restaurants nearby as well. The room was clean and the staff was great. There was always someone at the reception, even at night, so I didn't have to worry about locking myself out or returning at a certain time. I booked the basic standard room and I was pleased with it. The bed and pillows were comfy enough, and I slept well. The windows did a really good job at cutting the sound from the street. Overall, I would recommend people to stay at Medusa. It is definitely worth it for the price and location.

There was a bit of a smell when I arrived, but it got a bit better after using the shower. I think it might be the drains that needed to be used. The faucet could use some repair since it was quite slow and went side ways and splashed around. The comfort of the room was good, and I would say as advertised, but I wouldn't rate it "exceptional." There were small toiletries, but it was very basic. For example, no conditioner.

Excellent location in the center, in the pedestrian zone, all important attractions are a 5-minute walk away. The staff is very friendly and available for any questions. They allowed us to leave our suitcases in a separate room because we had an afternoon flight, which was very important to us. Breakfast is served in the building next door, also an interesting offer for breakfast. Immaculately clean hotel.

Our room was small, but that didn't bother us because we were there for a short period, a longer stay would have been problematic, but that certainly does not reduce the quality of this hotel.

It was a fantastic hotel with a very good location and very friendly and polite staff. Breakfast was included in our stay and was served at the luxury restaurant next to the hotel. It was an amazing breakfast and truly a culinary experience. We highly recommend the hotel, and we will definitely book it again for our future trips to Gdansk.

There was a small cobweb with a little spider in one corner between the ceiling and the wall, otherwise it was clean and tidy. The pillows were also a bit too thin and too soft.

The location was fantastic, very central, close to the tourist area & river. Breakfast vouchers for next door restaurant worked really well - breakfasts were delicious. Restaurant opposite the hotel "Chleb i Wino" for dinners was exceptionally good. Well located for tram services

Ideally located in the centre of the old town in Gdansk, beautiful location, and well designed. The accommodation was top five star, it was so beautifully designed inside, and very quiet, ideal for someone travelling on thier own. Staff were friendly and helpful,

Initially there was no toilet paper in the room, and I had not realised before I sat down, which lead to an awkward telephone conversation with the receptionist. But she took it well and in good humour and apologised profusely, which wasn't really necessary but appreciated.

The communication with the staff was very good and everyone was friendly. They give you a detailed description of where to park your car if you decide to go with their private parking (for an extra fee). The best thing is the breakfast. It is in the restaurant nextdoor and it's probably the best Hotel breakfast I've ever had.

Parking was a bit of a nightmare. Understand that it is in a historic part of town but not sure why the specific code to enter has to be given when you are in front of the entry and blocking traffic with everybody honking at you. That was very stressful.

Location is great. Right in the centre, on the Main Street adjoining the long market street over the bridge. Comfy, nice bathrooms, very clean, and staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Double bed but made for 1 person (very small quilt and small pillows) but was comfortable other than that.
