We were able to check in upon arrival at around 10. The beds were comfortable and the room spacious. We had a room on the third floor and the elevator only goes to the second floor, but we were well aware of that when we booked our room, so this was no problem for us.
The room was in a second building under a restaurant, we weren't bothered by the noise but there was some smell from the ventilation on the roof. We just kept that window closed and was no issue for us. But might have been a problem if the weather had been warmer.

The location is excellent—within walking distance of the city center and all the main attractions. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, making it very convenient. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit every taste.
The hotel is spread across two buildings, so if your room is in the second one, you'll need to step outside and walk to the main building for breakfast. However, this turned out to be only a minor inconvenience and didn’t affect the overall experience.

Very warming feeling hotel room. They even have fan inside room, which is amazing. I hope also other hotels will put fans inside there rooms. It is a very good idea. The hotel is approximately 6 minutes away the main bus stop who takes you direct to airport. Christmas Market is literally starting from the side of the hotel (there are two parts of the hotel, the second part looks on the road of Christmas Market). It's close to Neptune statue. I was not aware to be honest that it had such a good location, happy it was.
Maybe if they can leave second towel inside the room, no reason to explain 😊

Excellent location at top of the old town. Perfect for walking through the lovely maze of streets but out of the main mayhem. Our room was great. We asked for a bath and got a big one, which was nice at the end of a cold winter's day in the town. Lovely, comfortable bed and flawless room service every day. Amazingly, if you walk out of the front door to the left and through a small arch you are about 5 minutes walk away from one of the biggest and best modern shipping Malls we've ever seen. Great for a shopping mooch on 4 floors if the weather is a bit grey. Breakfast buffet was consistently excellent. Hot food, big cold buffet, loads of fresh fruit, cakes, good tea, coffee and juices. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Honestly, if I was going back to Gdansk (which is just lovely...), I'd choose this hotel again in a heartbeat.
Really, nothing.

This hotel is right on the border of the old town. This means visitors are close to the city center but spared from most of the nightlife noise. The old city wall is visible, and you have great access to both the old and new town. The facilities were excellent, featuring a modern bathroom and a nicely sized TV. The beds and chairs were all very comfortable and clean. Furthermore, the overall decoration was a breath of fresh... old air. It felt like walking into a pocket of history. With hopeful yet somber wallpaper, speckled with photos of the old town from the 1930s, elegant wall finishes, and dark wood furniture, the hotel exudes a late 1800s to early 1900s vintage vibe. It might be a strange description, but it feels like a small, grounded Grand Budapest Hotel from the mind of Wes Anderson. The colors lean more toward earthy tones, but the aesthetic is definitely there.
I don't have a recollection of any problems

Our recent stay at this hotel in Gdańsk was absolutely exceptional! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm welcome, professionalism, and attention to detail. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to assist, making us feel truly valued as guests. The hotel itself was spotless, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Our room was spacious, well-appointed, and offered a fantastic level of comfort. The amenities were top-notch, and the daily housekeeping ensured everything remained immaculate. The location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the best of Gdańsk. Whether strolling along the picturesque streets, enjoying the nearby restaurants, or visiting the city’s historic landmarks, everything was just a short walk away. Overall, our experience was nothing short of amazing. This hotel truly goes above and beyond in providing outstanding service and comfort. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Gdańsk and would love to return in the future! 🥰❤️

Great location - right in the old town. Nice interior design with mid-century modern vibes. Comfy beds, big room with main street and city view. Didn't try breakfast, but canteen interior was super, looked like fancy restaurant.
Nothing. Everything was superb.

Location, extremely spacious rooms, heater for hot water.
No view from window because I had the attic type room. Check in is from a different entrance of the hotel (see photo with red arrow), you have to drag your luggage all the way to the side entrance to access your hotel rooom. The lifts were broken one night and wasn’t working till next morning so I had to keep using their fancy staircase. Got scared at night because of insufficient lighting in the hallways and staircase. Carpet felt a bit old but still okay.

Very good central location (location was not the same as the reception but still quite close by). We were goven complimentary water that was updated every day. Shower and soap also updated if needed. We arrived earlier and were able to check-in with no problem as the room was ready.
The power outlets in the room are not near the bed. Our apartment was on the third floor. There was a loft to the second and you had to the stairs for one floor (which is not a big deal, much better than no elevator at all). The soap bars were a little weird to me. When windows were open, it was noisy from outside (again not a big deal since it's no summer temperatures).

Comfy and homely, easy check in accommodating me at very late hours - As some others do not currently where renovation is happening across Gdańsk at other hotels. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and spacious bathroom. Homely touches with nicely framed historic photographs of ships and the docks was a nice touch as someone who values history and heritage.
The only minor thing some might not like is noise from those stood outside nightclub on the corner down the street. Easily solved with earphones or ANC if you are particularly noise sensitive. Honestly I was expecting it to be way louder for a Saturday night with loud music and prepared myself, however it was quieter than the city I come from and I was on the first floor! So can only be even better for those on higher levels.
