The location was great for our evening event. The staff were fantastic and were very welcoming upon arrival and throughout our stay. The Manager Sarah went above and beyond and was very engaging and friendly. The bed was so comfortable and we had an amazing sleep.The room was very quiet and had a beautiful view of the river. The breakfast was very tasty and very reasonably priced. The bar and breakfast room were beautifully decorated and had real charm and a lovely atmosphere.

Would have liked pillow protectors but other than that it was very clean and smelt lovely throughout the building. The building itself is a little tired but work is ongoing with improvements. It did not detract from what was a fantastic stay.

There was parking, and I had privacy, peace, and quiet. The shower was nice and hot, and the room was clean and quite spacious. The storage heater worked a treat, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were very polite. The soundproofing worked a treat. I didn't miss not having a river view because there was provision for that near reception. If I ever had to be around Purfleet, I would happily stay here again in the same room.

The sink's hot water tap was ice cold, so I had to use the shower head when I wanted to wash my face. The chair in my room was unsteady so I couldn't use my laptop at the desk. The toilet tissue was of very poor quality thin and tore easily, leaving bits sticking to the skin. There were no bedside lamps.

Good location by the Thames, right around the corner from the shopping centre and good transport links to the centre of London. Bed was comfortable as usual.

The room we stayed in was very drafty because of a gap under the door. Phone signal was the worst and the WiFi wasn’t the greatest. The bathroom was okay, but the toilet wasn’t fixed to the wall properly and look like it could have fallen off. Shower fixture was broken in which I had to fix so I could put the head back up on the wall.

Fantastic team, clean room and easily accessible amenities. We were really pleasantly surprised by how good the restaurant was on our first night, hats off to the kitchen team!

Breakfast was unavailable during our stay - we didn’t preorder as we weren’t sure how our plans would shake up, but it would’ve been ideal to know that not prebooking could mean the option wouldn’t be there at all!

quite surprised about this hotel, been a world master traveller after travelling the world over the last 25 years i thought i`d seen it all but this place ticks all my boxes. Was given a room right next to that magnificent river Thames, so much so i rarely left the room as everything i needed was just there, just a few steps from the river, having the patio doors was able to pop out for food and groceries just round the corner. As the hotel is about 10 miles from the city of London, u can see the red lights (yes red) of the city at night. Here for 5 days and enjoyed every minute, the place is covered in scaffolding but the room and that location were surperb.

The manager Sarah is lovely we had a problem on a previous visit and never ended staying due to the room. The man on the front desk was t helpful at all. I sent a complaints email and Sarah called me on her day off arranged a lovely cottage room at short notice. Gave us a discount and 2 free bfast and we also got £8.44 paid in yo our wallet on booking.com.

Car park gets quite busy really fast

Hidden gem, property sits directly on the Thames and is just a short walk from train station, staff were very accommodating, parking was free! Lovely bar attached with beer garden next to Thames. Room was perfect size, check in & check out was very simple. All of this into consideration serves it as a great value for money, would definitely return next time visiting London.

Room didn't get serviced as we were inside at the time the staff attended, however this isn't a huge issue and is understandable from the hotel.

separate building. great location with a river view. spacious room with facilities ie heater, fan, tv, tea and coffee. peaceful.

my first impression when I pulled into the car park was oh no. the exterior looked like a prison. the windows of the building facing the car park were heavily armoured as though it was empty. the number code to the annexe was dark and made it difficult to put the number code in due to poor lighting. advertising boards or hanging baskets brighter colour rather than grey would make it less intimidating. once inside I was pleasantly surprised

The hotel is in a good location for Purfleet and the surrounding area . The room was clean and spacious with tea and coffee facilities. Good value for money as a travelling worker . Pleasant bar and restaurant serving good food.

The outside of the hotel is going through refurbishment but this doesn’t affect the interior.

The riverside is absolutely beautiful view. The staff were really friendly especially Wendy from housekeeping!

We paid for a larger bed in the room but the bed was a small double so that wasn’t great. On Saturday evening we asked for some towels but they weren’t able to provide us with any.
