Great budget hotel in a fantastic location - I had a single room and it was big enough, had all the essentials, even free toiletries and air con, which I wasn't expecting. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and looked after my bags after check-out.
There is no lift, so you might have to take luggage up two flights of stairs but the staff helped with mine. It's a bit noisy due to being on Brick Lane so wouldn't suit light sleepers. I used earplugs and it was fine (I basically chose to use earplugs rather than pay an extra £100+ to stay in a more expensive hotel with soundproofing).

What a great little hotel! Basic but everything you need - a comfy bed, really clean, TV, tea and coffee making facilities, lovely little en suite bathroom and really kind staff. I managed to check in a bit early as my room was clean when dropping off luggage which was really good. They also let me leave my luggage in reception the following day for a few hours so I didn’t have to lug it around London. The hotel is also in a really good location - easy access to the tube stations, lots of lovely food places and a short walk from Spitalfields market and other great places! Really enjoyed my stay - I will definitely stay here again.
It’s quite loud as the hotel is right on a fairly busy street with a lot of people and a lot of lights at night. Maybe some really good black out curtains would help! I don’t mind much noise at night be beware you may struggle to go to sleep if you want an early night.

The staff was very welcoming and polite although I was very awkward about my arrival. I wasnt sure about the location as it wasnt very obvious from y perspective. Regardless I was provided assistance to my room and shown where everything was along with what appliances I had been provided. I was also told I could ask for help at any time until 11p.
At night there was no issue related to noise apart from a little vehicle noise outside and I could not hear my neighbouring rooms. However when morning came I could hear everybody shower, clean and move around outside the room. This wasnt an issue as I was already awake and getting ready to check out regardless. Nothing I would complain about but it was not quiet.

Big shout-out to the staff who were always very friendly and helpful. They took care of our luggage before check-in and after check-out, so we could explore the city in a more convenient way. They provided us with everything we needed, always with a smile. Location is very good, with quite a many restaurants, shops and everything you might need. Of course, Brick Lane Markets are right there, short walk away. Bus stops and tube station are nearby. Liverpool Street Station is 10 minutes walk away.
Thin walls. You could easily hear noise from the outside and other rooms/hallway. Bed could be more comfortable. Pillows are very thin. Cold bathroom.

The room was spotless and because we'd asked for twin beds we actually got a triple so there was loads of space. It was also right in the heart of Brick Lane with loads of choices for food (tho not much fine dining), street art and a lively vibe, without being intrusive. The staff on reception were friendly and let us store our bags until our train left. Would definitely recommend this place as a budget friendly option.
There are steep stairs from the street to the reception, with no option of a lift. Having said that, the guy on reception came down and carried my bag up for me, which was great. Also, the entrance was just round the corner from a cafe where Google Maps led us to, and the entrance is not overly well marked, so it took us a minute or two to find it.

This hotel massively exceeded our expectations. The rooms are immaculately clean and way bigger than we had anticipated. The bed was very comfortable with quality linen and pillows and the shower was really powerful and hot. Our room overlooked the fabulous Brick Lane which was surprisingly quiet at night. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops and is 3 min walk from Aldgate East tube station and 10 min from Liverpool Street station. The building also has a link to Jack the Ripper which is very cool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend, this hotel is amazing value.

I stay in the east end every week, this is by far my favourite hotel. The reception staff are friendly and make sure you know what’s what, it’s in a thriving location with loads of local facilities but no noise from the street, rooms are spacious, with windows that actually open, beds comfy, they’re clean and have a fridge! And you’re surrounded by street arts in all directions for entertainment I always sleep with an eye mask, which is just as well as there can be lighting eg under the doors or those green security lights hotels seem to have now days.

We were able to drop our bags off as we arrived before check-in. We were given the room key as we knew we would be back late. The gentleman at reception put our bags in our room for us, which was much appreciated as we arrived back late. The location was great easy access to the tube, which meant we could get everywhere we needed to. The restaurants and takeaways on Brick Lane that we used were great value and served good food. The White Heart pub was good value and provided good friendly service. Would stay again.
Nothing hotel was exactly what we needed.

The Hotel was in a great location ,central to restaurants ,pubs very close to all transport links. The hotel is very quiet for the lively area it is in ,which makes going out and returning to the hotel really easy .I would like to say the staff bent over backwards to help if needed information or new towels ,coffee etc the staff would help without question. The staff were super friendly and made you feel welcome and my partner would go back anytime.see you soon Brick Lane hotel👍
Nothing to mention was a perfect stay

For the price, this hotel is a gem. The rooms and bathroom aren't big but they're spotlessly clean, comfortable and have everything you need - even air conditioning which worked perfectly and was very quiet. I found the location fabulous. It was a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street, 3 minutes to Aldgate East underground, 25 minute walk to the Tower of London. There is a wonderful cafe right next door, convenience store opposite, salad bar, restaurants and pubs all around. If I'm honest, when you arrive and see the outside (the entrance is around the corner, off Brick Lane, with a very shabby red covering) and then enter into a tiny narrow hallway with a very steep staircase straight upwards you do wonder whether it was the right decision, but if you're not willing to pay the extortionate hotel rates for the "posh" areas, don't expect "posh"! Brick Lane is lively and friendly but not so loud, as others have written, that it kept me awake. I've attached a photo of the evening view from my window. I would definitely stay here again if I return to London.
As I mentioned, the staircase is narrow and steep. The lovely friendly guy who checked us in ran down to carry our cases up so it wasn't a problem for us but I think it would be for anyone with personal mobility issues. There was no WiFi for our whole stay. There was a sign on the wall which said the WiFi was down due to "broadband issues in the area" but that sign looked very old and the sellotape it was stuck with was peeling off so I'm not 100% convinced that the WiFi actually works at all. Again, not a huge problem - most London pubs and restaurants offer free WiFi.
