Great studio room in central London. Bathroom was clean, and kitchen was well-equipped. Decent enough storage space in wardrobe and kitchen cupboards, and the wi-fi connection was brilliant

Showerhead holder in bathroom was cracked so would slide down the pole - managed to wedge it so it would stay up for a little longer each time but was still a bit of a nuisance. The walls of the property were quite thin - I could hear neighbours' conversations both from outside and within the building as well as traffic on the road if it was loud enough

Very clean property, rooms as pictured. Bed was comfy. The shared bathroom was very clean and maintained so it was not an issue. Wi-Fi worked well. Location was great , close to two tube stations and near a morning street market. The laundry facilities/iron were also appreciated

Location of stay is not the same location as the property address, but the property gave me clear instructions regarding check in. So this negative can be negated More than one towel per person would also have been better.

The room and bathroom were both well decorated and clean, the bed was extremely comfortable and the staff were all so accommodating. The location is a short walk from a few major tube stations and Shoreditch where there are lots of good restaurants and bars but not so close you can hear them late on. I’ll happily stay again on my next visit to London.

The entrance is a bit difficult to find but the owner sent a clear set of instructions that helped us find it and with a gate, front door and room door all with separate codes and locks, we felt very safe leaving our valuables during the day.

We liked the location, it was close to Liverpool street station,which facilitated the connections with London's main attractions. It was a pretty safe area, with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. The room was small and clean, perfect for a couple. It really met our expectations and we felt comfortable and happy with our choice.

We thought at the beginning there was only one bathroom for all the people until we discovered that there was another bathroom upstairs. So, it wasn't a problem at all

Good position, quite central and really close to Liverpool Street Station. The place was really clean (which is not to be taken for granted in London) and since it was inside a gated area it also felt secure enough. On the day of the arrival, you are given all the information to get in, including the combinations of the locks and where to find the key, and I personally found it really detailed and precise, despite some other reviews saying otherwise. Overall a great experience!

Food wasn't included. Location was great. I knew that when I booked as I am familiar with the area.

I found opening the bedroom door difficult from the inside. The knob to turn was small and hard to grip especially as being a fire door it was really heavy. Luckily I came with a pair of leather gloves, one of which I had to use to get out. I brought my own coffee but it would have been nice if there had been some complimentary teabags to use. I stayed in two other places in the same area last year that were very reasonably priced and they both supplied teabags/coffee sachets/sugar.

The room is not big but very clean and cozy. Everything is new. Shared bathrooms are also new and clean. In shared kitchen you have everything necessary, also iron and hairdryer. Staff is super helpful and replying very fast to messages. The price is very good for this type of rooms.

The street where it's located is a bit dodgy but it's close to the metro station and there are many cafés and restaurants around. The entrance is not that easy to find.

When I arrived the key to my room wasn't in the key box. The gentleman arrived within 5 minutes of my call, the room wasn't ready so he found me another room which was comfortable and clean.

Unfortunately room number 26 has a street light outside of it and the curtains did not stop the light coming in. A solution to this would be to put a blind there instead. This is my only criticism of a stay which was comfortable and pleasant.

I think Petticoat Accommodation is overall a great place for single travelers for a relatively longer stay. It's in a really good geographic location: It is close to Liverpool station and Algate east station with access for many subway/tube lines, and it is also close to Tower Bridge - less than 20min walk! Many restaurants nearby, especially Chinese food. Markets on the street. Close to grocery stores like Tesco and Sainsbery's Local. Soft bed. Useful tools for cooking in the kitchen. Washing machine, hair dryer, iron, and fridge are also provided in the community kitchen. Clean restroom. Room is small but is good for one person. Room access is complicated but I can get used to it. I would definitely stay here next time I come to central London!

Really hard to find! The access to the room is complicated but ensures safety. Many stairs. No early luggage storage as described. Strict check-in time: please check in after 1pm to have a better experience or you have to drag your luggage along the street over and over again to find this place. Sometimes noisy on the street, but relatively quiet at night, so that is not a big deal for me.

messages and phone calls to staff weren’t replied to at a fast rate meaning we couldn’t enter the apartment at the time we were told or leave our bags until our flight (we were previously told we could but no replys from staff the day before we left) check out time is non negotiable which isn’t a massive issue but not the most handy if u are travelling later during the day.
