We were looking for safe place for family, near Train station for Stansted express, as we were first time in London. Someone recommended this neighborhood and it was great. Suit was big enough, clean, safe, with fridge, welcome water , coffee, tea and very friendly personnel ready to prepare suit earlier and reply to any question. Liverpool underground was few minutes away, lot of pubs, markets and restauranats nearby. Hop on bus station was also nearby so we could easily choose any public transport and get to any London attraction in 15-20 minutes. We loved hipster vibe in Spitalfields Market (around the corner) and Brick Lane Market (20 minutes walking). Great place for first time visitors!

One of the guests was causing a disturbance during the night, but the host responded to the complaint (even though it was not his fault) as soon as possible.

Staff were really friendly. Were able to leave our bags for free the next day. The bedding and towels smelled really lovely and clean The location is perfect. The room was clean and good amenities. Air conditioning lovely and cool as London was hot and sunny.

Not much. A little wear and tear on some of the walls and bathroom, but the place was very clean so wasn't an issue. Floor is very creaky so was worried we were making a noise for the people below us. Again nothing major. A dishcloth to dry the dishes would have been good and to wipe the worktop down but again such a little thing. There is no lift which is fine. We only went up the stairs twice on our stay so manageable on the 3rd floor. Wouldn't like to have come and go a lot though. It is an old building as it is central London. There is nowhere to put in a lift so again just the way it is.

Excellent location, great value for money in London. Air conditioning great for the hot weekend we were there. Very basic but due to location & price it was good. We had a sofa bed apartment but didn’t use it as looked uncomfortable and not made up. But it gave us extra room to store luggage and spread out. Location was fantastic, only 2 mins to Liverpool street train / tube and lots of restaurants & pubs around. Felt very safe. 5 mins to Spittlefields markets too.

I was assigned a small, plain, modern, clean and well-equipped room on the third floor, well-priced for the area and very much in line with the description on Booking.com. The room was pleasingly quiet, probably helped by the fact that it was at the back of the building. Tea, coffee, kettle and biscuits were a welcoming touch.

Not a particular problem in my case, but the building has four floors and no lift, so you might want to request a low floor if you have a problem with stairs.

Perfect location ! Lovely staff. Easy access. Great views. Clean included coffee and tea all kitchen utensils provided. Good storage!

The stairs to the top floor were a lot but it was fine because we are fit and healthy a nice little workout as No lift access. So if you aren’t good with stairs the top terrace room probably isn’t a good idea lol. WiFi didn’t work but didn’t need so wasn’t too much of an issue for me & didn’t ask for router to be reset. So could have been sorted.

Stayed previously, so knew what to expect. Room is at the top of the building, so around 4-5 flights of stairs to go up, but the bonus is that you don't have any noise surrounding you. The terrace is great, but wasn't used as it was freezing this time. Comfortable bed, small but functional bathroom with small kitchenette.

Only complaint is the squeaky floors, this needs replacing. Hotel stated this was on the future plans.

Very comfy bed, quiet area, fantastic staff, cosy little hideaway. Excellent facilities, shower just needs a little look at, very clean, brilliant nights sleep. Overall very happy with staying and would book again.

Shower was a bit dodgy, the shower head is too big for the space it's in, when you open the doors to turn on the shower, you and the bathroom get soaked. Working out the hot water is a bit hit and miss, as the fixings are loose. Also, lamp by bed doesn't work.

It was extremely well located for where we were going during our stay. The room was spacious & the bed comfortable. The reception staff were very friendly & helpful. Luggage storage after checking out was provided.

There was a long delay for hot water to come through in the shower room. The kettle leaked - this was reported & promised to be replaced.

I had a wonderful stay at Room Home Stay! The staff were super friendly and made me feel really welcome. The room was cozy, clean, and had everything I needed. It’s in a great location, close to all the sights and easy to get around. I really appreciated how comfortable and peaceful the place was. Definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a relaxing stay!
