This is a small room in a block of rooms and in an ideal location very close to Liverpool St Station but at the same time incredibly quiet. There is even a little communal terrace outside the windows, with your own table and chairs. The stairs and outside the room seems like student accommodation and you have to bear in mind that there is no lift. The staff are very friendly and particularly the person who checked me in.

The bathroom is rather small and the shower leaked onto the floor even before I'd used it. But it was all clean. The very helpful person on check-in kindly carried my large suitcase up the stairs to my room and a kind fellow guest carried it down when I went to check in but I imagine it could be a challenge if you have mobility issues.

The room is clean, spacious and well facilitated. The staff are very nice and helpful and respond promptly.

The staircase to upper floors are steep and a bit dangerous. I have a number of luggages and the staff member was very helpful to help me take the luggage upstairs.

Excellent location, just around the corner from Liverpool Street station and right beside the National Express bus pick up for Stansted airport, which was perfect for our one night stay. We were able to check in early and drop our bags, the room was very comfortable and has everything we needed, the bed was a small double, but for two friends sharing, it was no issue. I'd definitely stay here again on a short trip to London, the price point was excellent for us.

Yes, the stairs and the hallways are a bit grubby, but from what I can see they are currently under renovation.

The location is perfect as a starting point to explore the city. There are a lot of pubs, bars, take-aways where you can eat or have a drink. Thea area itself is worth exploring on foot. The receptionist was very helpful and catered to all our requests. The room was clean and nicely looked-after.

The bed is not big, there is little room around it. It would be helpful to have some wall hooks for the clothes. There was a minor water leakage, so the washbasin was constantly wet, with some water on the floor. The stairs are steep and narrow with a really worn-out carpet.

A great location. Once inside the room, all was good - plenty of space, an outside terrace and useful kitchen area with fridge. Comfy bed and small but perfectly functional shower.

Quite hard to locate, but the people in the bar next door were very helpful! First impressions weren't brilliant as the entrance, staircase and corridors are desperate for some TLC (see the pic below). The WiFi was almost non-existent and any work I was hoping to do online had to be postponed.

Location was just perfect. 6 minutes walk to Liverpool Street station. Surrounded by multicultural restaurants and pubs but room itself was peaceful and quiet at the same time. Bathroom was amazing, great shower and warm water 24/7. Bed mattress and pillows were very soft. Housekeeping was very thorough.

Room was very small as compared to pictures, and we could hardly open one suitcase and walk around. The double bed was smaller even for a couple of slim build. Stairs are very tight, u r prone to hit ur head (well actually i did). Not at all wheelchair accessible.

Our stay in Widegate Residential was AMAZING!!! Super location - just incredible! We went to the Coldplay concert in Wembley and the Liverpool Street Station was so accessible for the concert and also for the Stansted Express train to the airport. The room was so clean and tidy… Air-con was such a nice treat also. Bed was very comfortable. Thank you so much. We would definitely stay again!!! The bed was a little bit small but still very comfortable 😊

Locks made going in and out easy with 4 adults and a teen. Didn’t have to worry about cards. Really cool areas in walking distance. Any type of food and/or grocery very close. We had two bedrooms with 2 baths so for the price it was excellent.

No fans in bathroom, air conditioner made weird noise every 10 minutes. One bedroom was very dark with weird green light in bath. Very noisy below windows from street. It didn’t both me but if you are light sleeper would be terrible. Steps were quite steep.

Amazing location, very clean spacious room which was a good temperature with AC/heater unit.. Very good value for so central a part of London. Had a little fridge with lots of glasses and a comfy sofa so ended up chilling in the room after a day of sightseeing, which was very welcome. Staff were communicative and friendly. Easy access system with code to building and room. Shower was hot and powerful and the bedsheets were clean.

Not a complaint but the room numbering system is a bit weird! Same comments as other people that the hallway doesn't match the standards of the rooms but it really didn't matter as you only walk through it for seconds! Don't feel like the pictures on booking.com show how nice it is overall.
