I had a wonderful stay at Bickley Manor Hotel. The hotel is a beautifully kept, listed building full of character, and it feels very “Downton Abbey.” The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making everything easy and welcoming. There’s plenty of parking, which was very convenient. My room was small but comfortable, and very clean. I really appreciated that a fan was already provided in the room, it was perfect during the heatwave. The bathroom was spotless, though a little dated, but it didn’t take away from the overall charm. Breakfast was delicious, with a nice cooked option that started the day off perfectly. I really enjoyed the old-style elegance of the hotel, it’s a unique place with lots of character.

Th bathrooms need updating

Pleasant staff. Nice evening dinner. Location good for visiting family member in Bromley. Lovely grounds.

Very warm in the room even with the fan provided. Mirror and lighting in bathroom not good if you want to do your make-up. Would have been nice to have an automatic top up of tea bags and milk. In my parent’s room you couldn’t fit the kettle under the bathroom tap to fill, had to use a glass. Not much clothes or cupboard space. Outside there are stone steps that need some attention. When wedding guests were waiting for taxi’s it was very noisy.

Excellent value for money. Lovely setting, the bedroom was simply furnished but the bed was really comfortable. Was on the top floor overlooking the manor gardens. TV had Netflix and Amazon Prime apps, which is better than a lot of hotels. Pleasant staff.

Bathroom a bit dated, low water pressure in shower. There was a wedding in the venue on the second night of my stay, which I could hear after going to bed - it wasn't too disturbing, but expect there to be noise on Saturday nights. Also there didn't seem to be a lift, which didn't bother me but might be an issue if stairs are a problem for you.

I had the small double. And it was small, but as a solo traveller away for work for one night? It was perfect. The grounds are very beautiful with lots of areas to chill and explore. Loads of free and easy parking. There was a member of staff on (tall brunette), l didn’t catch her name, but she checked me in, served me dinner in the restaurant, and got me a whiskey in the bar in the evening, all whilst being lovely. I kept thinking there must be clones of her! Amazing member of staff. Good pillows. I didn’t have breakfast as it was £18. But l had lasagne for dinner and it was excellent. Would stay again!

My bed seemed to have little granules of grit in it 🫣 next door inhabitants decided to talk until 1.30am. Not the hotels fault but extremely annoying!!

This is a family run hotel and everything was done with so much love and warmth. I learnt a lot about its history from the owners whom took so much pride and effort to give their guests a great experience. Breakfast was delicious any well presented. Thank you to all staff for being so accommodating and welcoming. I will return as the manor has so much character and a beautiful setting and immaculate.

Nothing negative to report but would be grateful for some charging ports in room if possible and perhaps to update the TV services on offer.

surprised to find that “ continental “ items like juice would not be included if you had the full English option. Price on the web site for breakfast was lower than the actual price charged

Seemed to be short staffed , the same lady seemed to be booking in, reception, waitress and serving in the bar Gave the impression the place was struggling

Excellent location and stress free parking. Very pleasant grounds. Room spotless and bed comfy .

No plugs in sink or bath. I’m sure this could have been sorted if I had asked so I can’t really complain too much about that! Room was basic… no space for a wardrobe or chair but perfectly adequate for a short stay. Bed was very comfy.

The property was lovely, well located and the rooms were clean. There was available parking in the grounds and staff were attentive and accommodating.

There was no bedsheet on my bed just a mattress cover and duvet. There is no independent heating /cooling system just a rickety fan in the room, for a superior double room, I was expecting more than that. Check out at 11am is too early, it should be 12pm.

It was very clean, convenient and had good parking

No lift and I wasn’t asked if I needed support to carry my case up to the 4th floor. Being middle aged, I found this difficult.
