Cute small cosy hotel that was clean!! We stayed in room 15, it was overlooking the back garden. The room has ensuite with shower, toiletries & towels included. A little kitchenette with 2 ring hob, sink, fridge and kettle. Complimentary coffee sugar milk. A desk and chair and a small sofa. The room was clean to a high standard and bedding was fresh. I will definitely be staying again!

Slight noise from train lines but didn't hear it through the night, not enough toilet roll or milk but staff did give us more and gave us plates & cutlery for our takeaway so I can't complain!

The Manager and receptionists were lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The Manager tried to help me with a charging cable for my phone and told me where to get one when it didn't work. A lady receptionist was very kind to me and loaned me an adapter for my charger. The bed was very comfy and the room was clean and had everything I needed. The ensuite was also very clean, with a good size shower that worked fine. It was well stocked with shampoo,shower gel etc. I liked the fridge, microwave and tea making facilities too.

I was disappointed that the restaurant was not open for breakfast or other meals. I was told that they were in the process of changing the chef. At times, it was difficult to find staff at the reception, especially before 10 am.

Walk-on into a clean room and the bathroom was tucked away behind closet doors which was s fun touch. The pillows were also nice and the A/C wasn't too high.

Location of my room wasn't great being near the front door. Always heard the door open or shut and was made privy to any conversation that occurred in the hallway, by the front door, at the check-in counter or in the car park. Also the windows for the room were viewed out to the car park on the ground floor. So, I immediately drew the curtains but they didn't shut all the way. Leaving a feeling of broken privacy.

Spacious room and adequate heating. Even felt too warm at one point. Really useful to have a microwave and a fridge in the room!

Floor under the beds should be hoovered as I can see dust piled up. Depending on children's ages rooms can be better allocated. We've got younger ones and tend to go to bed early. However, in a room above there was a family with older kids. It was a bit noisy till late night disturbing our kids to go to sleep. In terms of breakfast I totally understand why orders can be taken a night before. However, it will be better to take an order in the morning since mind can change depending on how you feel. Also, we didn't really like having to come out at a certain time for breakfast and even one of staff having served everything on the plate! Felt like we were forced to do something. Guests pay for the service and do favour for a hotel.

The room we had was excellent, staff were friendly but disorganised. The room was spotless, very comfortable.

Staff were disorganised when we arrived and didn't greet us immediately then proceeded to organise the book instead of dealing with customers they had in front of them and initially didn't understand that we had pre asked about leaving bags and that we were on a time limit. Staff don't check bookings fully we were phoned in the room to ask about breakfast which we hadn't booked and so the staff member had to go back at check when I said we weren't booked for breakfast.

The only complaint i would say was the breakfast not much out i think they only cooked a few at a time when it was help urself brekki plus the jams where out of date

My daughter relocated to London and we had 4 heavy suitcases that we were travelling around with and Avis Hotel so kindly allowed us to bring our cases to the premises before check-in and after we had checked out. This was a great relief as I am not sure what we would have done. The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. The breakfast was great, it is value for money.

located near the town but in a quiet area. good size well equipped room. reception met my request and f locating rooms on the ground floor. very good service at breakfast, lovely breakfast.

thin walls, I could hear the snores from the neighbouring room. guests parked outside my room with no regard to noise, I didn’t want to hear their music at 2am! we would liked to have eaten in the restaurant but they weren’t prepared, it would have been nice to have known in advance.

One night business stay as I was working the following day in the local area. Friendly and helpful host and hotel is in a quiet residential street. Room was comfortable and well equipped. Parking immediately outside.

Very clean, nice rooms, helpful staff, room had a fridge which was helpful, parking space , quiet area, high pressure shower, didn't book breakfast but by the smell of it we wish we had. (Constructive criticism) Needed more towels on arrival as it was a room for two, but asked for more and they were supplied before we got back. We were there for the weekend and had a large 20kg suitcase l, our room was on the top floor and there was no lift, but the receptionist did offer to take it up upon arrival. I would highly recommend
