The hotel is located close to useful transport links (St Johns rail station with service to London Bridge and Cannon Street, Overground to Canary Wharf). The room was fine, bed comfortable, bathroom with shower fully functional. Welcome was professional and friendly. Can be a bit overheated, but you can turn off the radiators and open windows.
The hotel rooms are over a pub, and normally you don't hear the pub activity, it's fine. But there is also a rentable functions room, and that is right under the hotel rooms. We were there over a Saturday night when there was a birthday party booked in the function room; our floor literally shook non-stop from the sound system's bass. They do enforce an 11:30 closing time, and everything was totally silent after that, but if you don't want immense noise during the earlier evening keep this in mind.

Lovely little pub/hotel. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Great location, St Johns station is a 5 minute walk away and can get into central london with ease. Room was very clean with kettle and coffee/tea/hot chocolate options. We ate at the pub before going out for the evening, food was lovely and reasonably priced considering being in the capital. You are given access to the side door with your room key and a code to get upstairs to the room, which was really helpful as we went out for the evening and got back when the pub had closed. Key safe to leave the key in the morning, breakfast is served from 10am but we left before this so couldn't comment.
An iron in the room would have been great. The room could do with a little table and a couple of chairs as we had our morning coffee in bed as there wasn't anywhere else to sit in the room really.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy spot. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. The room was a great size, very clean, and comfortable, with a modern bathroom and a super comfy bed. I would suggest a slightly larger bed, as there was enough space for one person, but it felt a bit cramped for two. The location is also very convenient, close to St John's and Deptford Bridge railway stations, making it easy to get around. Overall, our experience was fantastic, and we would gladly stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a charming and conveniently located place to stay in London!
The sound insulation for the window near the bedside was quite poor.

Very spacious and clean superior double room and the hotel was at a brilliant South East London location. Coming and going was super easy as there was a dedicated side door for hotel stays, so you don’t have to go through the pub or rely on it to be open if you’re out late! It was quite warm in the room so the large fan was a nice touch, and there were a couple of muffins, some oatmeal, and a large bottle of water in the room too. You can purchase a cooked breakfast in the pub downstairs before the pub opens to the public in the morning. The food was delicious and the staff were great!
Toiletries weren’t the best - tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and a small bar of soap. Shower gel would’ve been really handy to have in the bathroom! And if you are unable to walk up plenty of stairs, this is not the hotel for you I’m afraid.

The room was lovely and comfortable, some may think it to be on the small side but it was the perfect size for two of us as we were out and about a lot and didn’t spend much time in the room. There were muffins, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, provided in the room and topped up daily, and the room was very clean. There is a train station located just around the corner from The Brookmill which made it very convenient travelling to and from the city, in particular London Bridge Station. The staff are also very friendly, the food is lovely and there is a good selection of drinks from the bar, I couldn’t recommend the place more.

A great place to stay for single or couple or travellers. Visited London in a cold late December. Lovely pub with accommodation a couple of floors above. Close to St John's and Deptford bridge railway stations. Room was cozy, quiet, warm, a good size, spotlessly clean with modern shower/bathroom, super comfortable bed, nicely decorated. Very friendly staff. Guests with luggage or mobility problems might find the 2 flights of stairs up a bit steep. Would definitely stay again.
Nothing really.

Lovely clean room above the pub. Fabulous staff who are just lovely and friendly and the food in the pub is amazing! I felt very safe and happy there and I was able to park for free outside over the weekend. Highly recommend.
Just be aware that if there is a function on, the music will stop at 11pm but this didn't bother me at all. Just something to be aware of if you are staying there at the weekend. The DJ was fab btw!!

The pub was nice and staff were friendly, the room was nice and quite big, shower was nice, there was lots of tea and coffee and the porridge and muffins was a nice touch , bar man was very helpful when we asked for directions, free parking on the road behind the pub from 5pm to 9am
The bed was abit small and not a full double bed, we were visiting the 02 so location was about 3 miles away and a little hard to get home without an expensive taxi ride but going was ok using local public transport.

The room was really cute. The pub below was beautiful and had good food. It is very close to Greenwich. Good public transport connections to the city centre.
It can get a bit loud on Saturday night (but noise finishes around 23-23:30, which is still reasonable).

I had made a mistake and only booked two nights when I needed free the staff were very helpful. I keep going back because the food and stay is lovely and tucked away with a park besides where there is plenty of wildlife. The food is fantastic made freshly and of course there is a great garden for the smoker and alfresco food. Excellent
