I already knew this was a minimalist hotel when I booked, and I took that to be marketing speak for when hotels want to justify doing the bare minimum. However I was extremely pleased with this hotel. The rooms being called cocoons is very appropriate — they do make you feel like you’re in a cocoon, without feeling like you’re cramped at all. The bed was comfortable and the plugs were well placed in relation to the bed, which is always a nice treat. As this was a business trip, it was also nice having good wifi and the reception area that had couches and tables and plug sockets so I did some work there too. This hotel won’t be for everyone because it lacks quite a few standard hotel amenities, but for those of us who never use things like the ironing board, safe, kettle etc, this is perfect. I didn’t need anything anyway but my understanding was that if I did need a hairdryer or whatever, these were available upon request. The staff were also very friendly and helpful and the local businesses around the hotel, such as the coffee shops on the same block, were really nice. There’s also a Waitrose 2 mins away, Greenwich town centre is about 5 mins and there’s a bus stop right outside so travel was not an issue at all. As I said, this hotel isn’t for everyone, but for me and my needs, it was perfect, and I’m glad I discovered it as I will definitely be staying here again when I’m next down in London for work.

It wasn’t that much of an issue at all as there is very reliable and fast wifi, but my room did not get any phone signal so I would not have been able to make any calls from my room

I stayed here for almost a week and found it to be a good place overall. The rooms are nicely sized, very clean, and though there’s no mobile signal inside, the Wi-Fi is reliable. The reception staff are helpful, and check-in took about five minutes. There’s no hair dryer, but they provide a few coat hangers, a full-length mirror at the entrance, and towel hooks. Shampoo and soap are also provided. The power outlets are standard UK sockets with at least four USB ports nearby, which was convenient. The room door locks with a magnetic card, though the bathroom door doesn’t have a lock. The room is well-lit, not claustrophobic, and has automatic air ventilation.

Very nice room. Mattress was really soft, loved it. Neighbourhood was pleasant. And staff was so nice and helped me with checking in. Overall the experience was great.

Room is really small with no windows. But because I traveled alone this time and stayed only for two nights it didn’t bother me at all. I thought it was actually cozy. But if staying for longer it would probably get a bit uncomfortable. Also the bed(basically only a mattress) is really low, so if you have any mobility issues or anything that prevents you from bending down, knee issues etc., think twice before booking it. But if all of this doesn’t bother you, it’s a really nice place to stay at. The only thing I would suggest is, it would be nice having at least a hairdryer. A lot of people staying there are most likely from countries that doesn’t have uk plug, therefore can’t really use their own hair dryers, I tried using mine and broke my uk adapter that way.

Well as an avid traveller i have stayed in many rooms and hotels around the world so for what it was it was good. Problem is i found out the concept for this hotel is not what i usually stay at but for this particular trip it was good. Surprisingly comfortable beds even though it was mattresses on the floor so for elderly persons i don't think its adequate as its difficult to get up from.

For longer holidays its a minimalistic approach to comfort so i would not recommend families to stay there but for short term stays it was good. Great location and everything is new. Special mention for staff who were excellent in their attention to clients.

The room was impeccably clean, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful stay. The location is excellent, offering convenient access to a wide range of local attractions and amenities. I would also like to commend a staff member named Deep, who was particularly friendly and professional throughout our visit. We had the pleasure of interacting with him on several occasions, including the morning of our departure. His warm and welcoming demeanor made a lasting impression—he is truly an asset to the establishment. I would not hesitate to return in the future and would gladly recommend this property to others seeking quality accommodation.

Love zedwell their rooms are basic but perfect. Literally just a bathroom and matress on the floor but it works. The bed is so comfortable. The staff are always amazing, approachable and happy to help with anything. If possible they will try get you into your room early and they don’t rush you to be out as soon as your supposed to check out.

Only negative to this one in Greenwich was the coffee. There is no kitchen in the room but the zedwell in Tottenham court at least provided you with a free coffee bar in the reception which I think is perfectly reasonable for the money you are paying and we’re happy with the basic room. Coffee is not an expensive expanse for the hotel. But at Greenwich there’s a machine which charges you £3 a coffee. And the coffee is way below standard I don’t think the machine even had any milk left as my latte came out black.

Very comfortable beds and large bathrooms with excellent showers. Fully accessible with seat in the shower etc. The staff are polite, attentive and helpful. Always available at reception and very knowledgeable about the local area, transport etc. I'd like to mention Abishek on the reception / client services team, who made my stay comfortable and helped me find my way around the area. He and his colleagues really make an effort that can be rare to find.

The rooms are budget: no windows, no TV and just overhead lighting. I actually found the lack of windows, overhead lighting (which I had off) and comfortable bed allowed me to sleep for much longer than usual! Which is definitely a positive in some ways, but the rooms could obviously be slightly better equipped.

The staff were very helpful and although the room was quite small (as seen in the photos), it is very comfortable to stay in. The housekeeper found a ring after I checked out and customer care gave me a call as soon as I arrived at the airport. They sent an email with clear instructions on how I could get it back and were very helpful and easy to reach.

The only inevitable problem I experienced was the location. It took a bit less than an hour to get to central london (oxford street area ect…) However, I never had a problem with transport because there are night buses and train stations within walking distance.

We liked the hotell very much! The room was pretty and clean. It was quiet, and we didn’t hear noises from the hallway. The staff were all so nice/polite to us and very helpful! The airline lost or baggage, and when we needed help to reach out or just needed support, they helped us right away and where very supportive! And when we went home, they actually also reached out to tell us when our bagges arrived at the hotell even if we no longer were guests, we did appreciate that! We would like to say an extra thank you to Sathya who was extra helpful when we had an tough time with our baggage’s and where very stressed, he took his time with us, talked to us and helped us!

The sleep was good, very little to no noise or disturbance. Sound proof rooms and no window allow for a very peaceful sleep. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Our rooms were initially far from each other, but after speaking to staff, they were able to help sort that out and get our rooms next to each other. The place seems to be quite peaceful .

There was a hair on the towel. Heating took a few mins before starting, but once started, it was fine and quick to heat up. At a point, the light switch stopped working, but I was able to get it back again after some time.
