Very clean and welcoming

The cleanliness and decor were top class but really, to be honest, this is not an 'hotel' more a 'B'n'B' as there is no check in reception area as you would expect at an hotel, just a tiny room where you get your key. As an hotel I give it 3 stars. As a 'B'n'B' I would give it 5 stars!! Only a couple of things, the WiFi password would have been better in the bedroom rather than on the wall of the lobby! Also, a couple of bottles of water in the bedroom would have been very welcome and cost next to nothing. Notwithstanding, we would book it again if we needed to be in the area.

Convenient location close to but not on top of station. Room and bathroom were clean a double bed but the room would have been a little small for double occupancy. I am m6'3" 16st so quite a big person! Continental breakfast was better than expected Price fair for location Staff were polite and helpful and kindly loaned iron and ironing board

Some exterior paint work and interior door paint work could do with tidying up - chipped paint is not a good look. Litter in drive way post bin collection was v depressing and needed to be sorted immediately after bin men had left Don't really like the remote check in arrangements - might have been worth an email warning about this - tho' may not have taken this in. Some interior walls are quite thin and I could hear neighbour speaking on the phone, thank goodness it was only that! Fortunately I was v tired and slept well

I stayed for a night here as it was conveniently located for where I was going that evening. The staff were friendly, the room was nice and clean and the location was perfect. What stood out was what happened after my stay. I rather dozily left the hotel the next morning without my wash bag and chargers. I got in touch and the hotel manager, Sherwyn, who couldn't have been more helpful. We met up at a train station not far from where I live and he returned all my stuff. That kind of customer care is truly exceptional.

Just the most wonderful, caring staff. In all the big chains I have put my parents up in nobody took care of them like Sherwyn and his staff. The waiters talk to the guests, the reception welcome you at the door, the hallways and gardens are full of information and lovely history and design. I just can't credit them enough. I thought these kind of hotels had disappeared from London.

The roads at the junction close by. Lethal.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room a reasonable size for a single with decent en-suite ( needed help to control shower temperature) Breakfast was continental but reasonable choice - keeping rolls etc warm in oven a nice touch Whole place looks like been renovated recently Good location for Beckenham Junction rail station and town centre.

No bedside cabinet - only one at bottom of bed. Bath mat a bit grubby. Very hot day so room too hot on arrival but staff opened large window for me.. Step into bathroom a bit high for me ( I have had a hip replacement recently). I couldn’t control the shower temperature, again staff sorted.

Wonderful cozy bedroom, surrounded by a lovely garden . The staff is always taking care of the customer needs , everything is clean and tidy. Trust in this structure for a pleasant stay. Literally two minutes walk from Beckenham station . You can reach the heart of London in a few minutes by train. Not to mention that Beckenham has been named as one of the UK' s best places to live in 2023. Highly reccomended! Francesca Vitaliani

Good location, 5 minute walk from the Train Station, lots of nearby shops and cafes. Friendly staff Quiet at night Good sized clean rooms

Continental Breakfast options were fine, but felt there could have been a little more choice. TV in the room was at an awkward location for all 3 guests to watch.

Unfortunately due to traffic we were going to be late in arriving. This was no problem, excellent communication with the hotel to enable us to access our room. The hotel is spotlessly clean, comfortable and it was a nice stay.

Slight stagnant smell in bathroom but as with everywhere in the hotel, it was absolutely spotlessly clean. They possibly need to have the main overflow checked as this would probably resolve the smell issue.

The hotel had a private car park, the location was perfect in a quiet area yet close to public transport to London centre and at walking distance from the centre of Beckenham.

The window in our kids' room was broken and couldn't be opened; their room was very hot. In general the rooms have seen better days and could do with a makeover but basic comfort was okay. However, in terms of value for money the room prices were rather high.

I’ve been coming here for years so was a little surprised to find out when arriving that it was under new ownership. However, there was no need at all to worry. The new owner and staff could not be friendlier nor more helpful. So welcoming, friendly and eager to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Without a doubt, we’ll be back again…and again…and again.
