Great Hotel in the Heart of London We had a wonderful stay at this hotel right in the center of London. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Our room was modern, very clean, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the little touches like fresh water and a handwritten welcome note. Despite the central location, it was pleasantly quiet, and the bed was so comfortable—we slept really well. The breakfast was fine, but the selection could have been a bit bigger. The quality was good, but a few more options would have made it perfect. The location is unbeatable, with many sights and restaurants within easy walking distance. Overall, it’s a fantastic hotel with excellent service, and we felt completely at home. We would definitely stay here again!

Everything you need was in the room: iron, ironing board, refrigerator, speaker, phone charger. The breakfast was versatile, the service very pleasant.

Don't forget to bring a UK-EU plug transition, the hotel does not have them to borrow.

The location next to the Aldgate stop was perfect and you did not hear the train at all, even as I was facing directly above the platform. It was easy to get to all attractions or day trip location start points. The staff were very nice and helpful and as I left very early some days and came back late others, I felt safe and helped at all hours. The breakfast was pretty good if you like the same 4 menu items and select pastries. The shower was nice in pressure and heat. As an American, you know we love cold drinks, so the fridge was great and kept everything very cold, and appreciated the complimentary water. For the local price points and location and ease of travel within the city, this is an ideal location.

My room was a good size but there were some interesting design choices like 2 sinks in a small bathroom when what is needed is a larger countertop. In the bathroom, there was unclean grout (a lot of water spilling out because of poor door closing) and a very small in-shower shelf. My room also had a distinct smell from the vents, whether the AC was on or not. You'd get used to it quickly but it's not as inviting.

Nice hotel. The location is really great - less than a minute walking to Aldgate underground station and close to some attractions, like the tower of London and the tower bridge. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel, so cannot rate it.

The air in the room was very dry, and the window cannot be opened - that really bothered us. We turned on the air conditioner, but it was more like a fan than a real air conditioner. Also the cupboard is not very functional, not much place to put our clothes.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my partner, and I can honestly say it was one of the best experiences we've ever had. The location is absolutely perfect — right next to Aldgate Station, which made getting around the city a breeze. Whether we were heading out to explore or returning from a long day, the convenience of having the station so close was unmatched. What made our stay truly exceptional, though, was the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, every staff member we encountered was polite, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure we had everything we needed. I've never experienced such outstanding customer service — every request we made was handled promptly and with such care. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, and I really hope management appreciates the level of dedication their team brings to the hotel. The staff truly made our experience unforgettable. Our room was another highlight — it was clean, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. After long days exploring the city, it was the perfect space to come back to and unwind. Any special requests we had were dealt with immediately and with no fuss, which really showed the level of attention and service this hotel offers. All in all, this was an amazing stay. Thanks to the impeccable service, the prime location, and the comfortable, well-kept room, we’ve found our go-to hotel whenever we're in town. You’ve definitely gained a customer for life!

Location was excellent for us, immediately next to Aldgate station, and only a 15 minute walk from Liverpool Street. Staff were friendly and welcoming throughout. Luggage storage was useful both on day of arrival and departure. Room was of a reasonable size and comfortable. Well supplied with amenities - safe, coffee machine, fridge, ironing board, and hair dryer. Cupboard was a good size for hanging clothes. Room was exceptionally quiet. Maybe we benefited from good neighbours! Temperature control worked well. Excellent value for money.

Bathroom was clean and a reasonable size again. If I was being really picky, there could have been more places to hang a hand towel, and the positioning of the hook next to the shower made it difficult not to soak the floor slightly as you came out the shower. Lifts seemed a little slow during our visit, as in taking a couple of minutes to arrive, but not a big issue at all.

Staff were very helpful, always did their best to accommodate anything we needed. Great location, such an easy walk to catch the tube. Coffee machine and a proper fridge made a huge difference for our long stay. Water provided in the room as well as cookies was a great touch. Overall really nice area to stay, easy to get around as well as eating and shopping. Would definitely stay again but hope they upgrade mattresses.

On the first day, when I flipped a pillow over I found blood stains on the cover. Staff were quick to give us a replacement pillow but a little shocked this had happened. The mattress was not comfortable we could feel the springs and after a couple of days we requested to change rooms which staff accommodated as quick as possible. Rooms are small if you have a lot of luggage it may not be the best option to take the standard room. We asked the hotel for a weighing scale which they said was broken and instead directed us to where we could purchase one, although helpful it wasn’t the best option for tourist.

Excellent room, functional, very clean and not outdated. Free water and coffee/tea/ biscuits everyday. New (i.e. not worn-out) linen and bath wardrobes, nice slippers, thick toilet paper. Bathroom very functional with new plumbing. Staff very polite and efficient. Excellent location just by the Aldgate station of the Circle Line.

The room would be small for two people, nowhere to put the luggage of two people. The breakfast included in the price is not up to the standard of the hotel i.e. not many choices, no cut fruits or fruit salad, no fresh fruit juice, indifferent coffee, ingredients in the cooked plates like vegie breakfast or English breakfast not impressive, the marmalades and honey in the glass jars were of average quality. Although the bread and croissants were ok, the whole breakfast experience becomes unpleasant after 2-3 days.

We were in London for both business and to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and Alexandra went above and beyond to make sure everything was arranged perfectly. The restaurant team, particularly Rabin and Prince, delivered an exceptional dining experience. Every meal—both breakfast and dinner—was a delight, with exquisite dishes, beautifully presented plates, and expertly crafted drinks. The warm and elegant ambiance made every visit even more special. The highlight was the birthday surprise table, which was arranged with such care and attention to detail, making the celebration truly memorable. We stayed in Room 1302, which was simply fantastic—spotlessly clean, elegantly maintained, and offering a breathtaking view. The entire team ensured that our stay was seamless, comfortable, and truly exceptional. Additionally, the hotel’s prime location near Tower Bridge made it incredibly convenient. Without a doubt, this was a 10/10 experience! If we could give more than 100%, we absolutely would. A heartfelt thank you to Alexandra, Rabin, Prince, and the entire team for making our stay so special. We will definitely be returning!

A well-located and stylish hotel, next to Aldwych tube station. The location is excellent if you want to visit the nearby landmarks (the Shard, Sky Garden), browse the wares in the Brick Lane vintage market, or other big markets nearby - or go on the daily Jack the Ripper Tour, which starts nearby. Reception staff were professional and welcoming - and we were lucky enough to benefit from an upgrade to a higher floor, which enabled us to get a great city view. The room was well-appointed and very clean, with modern amenities including a coffee maker with coffee pods, excellent tea, and other refreshments. The room also has a mini-fridge for guests' use and wireless phone chargers. A £50 breakage deposit is taken at check-in. They also have excellent facilities to store your luggage after check out. All in all, a great hotel and is highly recommended.

The newly re-designed rooms and ensuite bathrooms feel small, with little space to navigate around (smaller than your average, cheaper hotel). This is a sign of the times and reflects the price of real estate in central London. This is a small aspect, which would not put me off from returning to this hotel.
