Great Hotel in the Heart of London We had a wonderful stay at this hotel right in the center of London. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. Our room was modern, very clean, and had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the little touches like fresh water and a handwritten welcome note. Despite the central location, it was pleasantly quiet, and the bed was so comfortable—we slept really well. The breakfast was fine, but the selection could have been a bit bigger. The quality was good, but a few more options would have made it perfect. The location is unbeatable, with many sights and restaurants within easy walking distance. Overall, it’s a fantastic hotel with excellent service, and we felt completely at home. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location for exploring! Lots of cool places within walking distance and so easy to get to other parts of the city. We couldn't have wished for a better starting point. The room was nice and clean with good A/C, great bathroom with good water pressure and everything you need (except for toilet brush, which was a bit annoying). There's water, a kettle, tea, coffee and biscuits. We had a la carte breakfast in the restaurant and that was great. Staff was extremely friendly.

The linen felt a little plasticy/unbreathable, which was a little uncomfortable. The first couple of nights there was something wrong with the TV, so we only had 4 channels and one was in Italian. Thankfully that was fixed and we could watch all of our favorite, British shows after a long day of sightseeing.

Nice location, clean room, food nice.

Added breakfast on for £20 (£40) for both nights. Called reception and cancelled breakfast for the second day the evening prior and was told this would be removed from my room. When checking out asked for an invoice and was told it would be emailed to me. Not sure why i couldn't have been given a paper invoice. Called then emailed a few times for invoice and when it arrived I had been charged for both days breakfast. No response to my emails asking for this to be removed. Reception team aren't the most friendly.

Everything you need was in the room: iron, ironing board, refrigerator, speaker, phone charger. The breakfast was versatile, the service very pleasant.

Don't forget to bring a UK-EU plug transition, the hotel does not have them to borrow.

We requested if we could have an upperlevel room as it was our Anniversary. We weren't sure, but when we arrived, not only we had a upper level but a Congratulations note and a box of chocolates. That was so sweet. Thank you to the Reception staff. The room was lovely and quiet. We were disappointed with housekeeping because we had to ask for 2 towels every day. We were only getting 1 towel. And they clean between 12pm - 4pm. We were tired and came back just after 4pm and our rooms weren't done. So unfortunately, as much as we wanted to rest, we again had to leave the room. Every time we were having a shower the drainage was blocked so was flowing very slowly. Complained to the Reception staff and they were very apologetic (it wasn't their fault) but instantly sent someone to look at it and all good. Great service. Location is great. Come out of the station and on your right. Right next to the station. As much as it's close to the station and road, it was very quiet. Bus stop is just opposite to the hotel and takes you into town. Tower of London, markets, yoy can just walk to. We would love to come back again.

Cleaning time was between 12pm - 4pm When we had dinner at the restaurant our waiter was too busy talking to young female that service we got was appalling.

The location next to the Aldgate stop was perfect and you did not hear the train at all, even as I was facing directly above the platform. It was easy to get to all attractions or day trip location start points. The staff were very nice and helpful and as I left very early some days and came back late others, I felt safe and helped at all hours. The breakfast was pretty good if you like the same 4 menu items and select pastries. The shower was nice in pressure and heat. As an American, you know we love cold drinks, so the fridge was great and kept everything very cold, and appreciated the complimentary water. For the local price points and location and ease of travel within the city, this is an ideal location.

My room was a good size but there were some interesting design choices like 2 sinks in a small bathroom when what is needed is a larger countertop. In the bathroom, there was unclean grout (a lot of water spilling out because of poor door closing) and a very small in-shower shelf. My room also had a distinct smell from the vents, whether the AC was on or not. You'd get used to it quickly but it's not as inviting.

Nice hotel. The location is really great - less than a minute walking to Aldgate underground station and close to some attractions, like the tower of London and the tower bridge. The staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel, so cannot rate it.

The air in the room was very dry, and the window cannot be opened - that really bothered us. We turned on the air conditioner, but it was more like a fan than a real air conditioner. Also the cupboard is not very functional, not much place to put our clothes.

Absolutely wonderful hotel! The location is unbeatable—just a 20-step walk to Aldgate Underground station. The staff are friendly and professional, and the rooms are spotless. London Tower, Tower Bridge, and bus stops for city tours are all just a few minutes away. There are plenty of cafes and shops nearby, which makes staying here even more convenient. I’ll definitely choose this hotel again whenever I return to London!

One thing I didn’t like about the hotel was that the windows couldn’t be opened and there were no slippers in the rooms.

Nice comfortable room and bathroom. Great staff - very helpful. Roof top bar nice though small - great views.

We don't use a coffee machine, sachets would have been useful including de-caf. Also needed more than 1 small bottle of free water, needed 2 Earl Grey t-bags not just 1 and struggled to open milk. No biscuits we liked, choice of 1 - expected better selection. Cooked Breakfast was OK, but expected more variety - where was the fruit, cereal, cold meats/cheese, pastries, toast and spreads etc. If they were there we did not see them. I asked for cold water for my drinking bottle and it was supplied, but luke-warm from the tap. Roof top bar - no Pims, and no Hendricks Gin.

Very Central to tourist attractions. Staff extremely friendly and accommodating. We were able to check in early which was great. The room was clean with usual bathroom products. Lovely comfortable beds and pillows. Evening meal and service was also extremely good.

We stayed one evening and were disappointed that we could not use the top bar because there was a private function, so hotel guests were unable to see the views over London at night. We did manage the next day to have access to the bar during the day. Cocktails were very expensive and service charge was added. The breakfast in the morning was very nice. The sachet of milk in the room were sour.
