I liked that reception staff were efficient and welcoming; everything was ready when we arrived so we were not kept waiting while our details were being input into the computer. We were handed keys and able to go straight to our room to refresh and rest after our long journey. I loved the comfy, soft beds and pillows ensuring a solid night's sleep. Even though our room didn't have views, this was offset by the extras provided (air conditioning, fridge) and the immaculate cleanliness of room and the bathroom. The location was a bonus as the hotel is within walking distance of some of London's popular sights, there are bus stops nearby and the Aldegate Train station is across the road. The food isn't your regular pub fare; even the fish and chips are high quality! Breakfast has a variety of fresh fruits and hot meals with tea varieties, vegan options and good coffee on offer. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. What a wonderful place to come back to after a hectic day of sightseeing! I lost my phone in an Uber car I took to a nearby laundromat. Sameera at reception handled it like a pro. She kept the lines of communication between me, Uber and my family overseas clear and was helpful all the way until my phone was located. She was outstanding!

Nothing. We cannot fault anything. From check-in to check out and everything in between, the service and hospitality here is something I haven't experienced in a long while. There was live music on Friday night. We were just sad we missed the Trivia session as my granddaughter would've enjoyed it immensely!

The hotel is nice, good location and service minded personell. The bed was good. It was to be expected based on the price we payd withlack of buffee breakfast and lack of aircondition (not working)!!

The Breakfast was good, even though I´m more of a fan of buffets instead of the dish to order. The dishes is the same everywhere in England and its quite boring afterall to chose between Egg Benedict or boiled Egg or similar every morning. The pancakes was floodid of syrup, which was not nice. The aircondition was not working in my room and the floor in the room was creaking. We got a voucher when we arrived for a drink in the bar, but it only coovered 2 (single shot) drinks, even if we were 4 people.

Its a small boutique hotel next to the Tower Bridge, not too far from the Elizabeth Line. But the real deal with this hotel is that the rooms are 5 star worthy. High beds and very comfortable and plush. Also, everything in the room is complimentary! The rooms looked fresh and bougie to be honest for half the price of a 5 star hotel. The staff were amazing too, I got to the hotel earlier than check in but the room wasn’t ready yet (expectedly), so I sat down for a bit.. few minutes later the guy who spoke French at the front desk came to me and told me that there’s a room ready and offered me the early check in. The room however was hot and the ac wasnt working, so Sameera from front desk looked for other rooms that she can transfer me… and I got upgraded to a bigger room and she was very apologetic about it. Not every hotel offers to move you to another room, let alone a better room so thumbs up to them! I would definitely stay again

It might be just me but I thought the breakfast was a bit bland. It’s an easy fix though.

The team at this hotel are fantastic. From check-in to breakfast to booking taxis to bar service and answering emails before we arrived... They were warm, efficient and friendly. The room was great, had everything we needed, was clean and super comfy beds. Given the location it was quiet inside the corridors at night and we didn't really hear the gentle street buzz till around 7.00am so no disturbed sleep. Breakfast was great. Lots of choice from cereal, fresh fruit, juices, meats, cheese and hot options to order freshly made. We were given a couple of drinks vouchers for the bar and 15% off food which we took advantage of for dinner before heading to the airport.

I have been staying at this hotel several times and I am always quite satisfied. They had a recent refurbishment and it looks very good. It's very convenient especially if you are arriving at City Airport or Liverpool Street station and in general it is very well connected to the rest of London but also in a quiet spot. Staff all very nice and hardworking. Breakfast is very rich and diverse, catering for all tastes. Definitely my fav place to stay in London.

I personally don't like when the room's windows cannot be open but I guess many guests will not mind.

this was our 4th stay at the chamberlain and it won't be our last! perfect location near 3 tube stations and a short walk from tower bridge and the tower of london. welcoming rooms equipped with every comfort, very quiet even if they face the street. very comfortable mattress, you sleep very well. excellent quality buffet and made to order breakfast! the hotel staff is always very helpful and kind. thank you because every time you make us feel at home!

This is my second stay in the Chamberlain hotel. There are three reasons that I chose it again. The first reason is the location, it’s close to Aldgate and Tower Hill station. so it’s very convenient to take subway to the attractions. The Tower of London and Tower Bridge are close to the hotel. There’s a coop in two minutes walk and some restaurants around. The second reason is the room facilities. Room is spacious, bed is big and pillows are very comfortable. The drinks in the small fridge are free and I love the free chocolate powder very much. The last reason I chose this hotel again is the service. I want to give my special thank to Paula, she is very kind and helpful. She provided us very good service in our breakfast time in the restaurant.

There is no view outside , only a ladder. I kept the curtain drawn, so it was not a problem.

Friendly and always available staff. The building is quite old but not too worn out by any means. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It was really nice that the minibar was complimentary. They provided another blanket for us for double bed. The location is great. A short walking distance to multiple metro stations, including the Liverpool Street station. The Tower of London is right at the end of the street. Multiple restaurants and pubs available nearby. The area feels more like a business oriented, which means there is not much happening, except on Fridays. Breakfast was great. There is a general buffet an on top of that you can order more stuff from the list. No extra charge.

You can hear and feel the trains from nearby tracks. Not too bad and I managed to sleep without earplugs. Also on Friday night the street below us was pretty loud until 1-2 am, but on other nights it was silent. Not too bad, but worth mentioning.

The hotel had a lovely modern boutique feel to the place. It was immaculately clean! The beds & pillows were lush and had an excellent night sleep. Beautiful breakfast! Lots of choice & cooked fresh! The staff were amazing! A big shout out to MATTHEW on reception…our rooms weren’t ready when we arrived (early) but we had to get to BST Hyde park & needed to get ready…he did some re-gigging in order for us to do so! He was so friendly & accommodating…definitely an asset to the hotel. The welcome drink was also a lush touch.

excellent location between the city and the tower of london, we had a balcony room , big enough, especially for london. The rooms are very clean, with refills of coffee and tea in the room

The Staff , the staff : It seems like they are here but not really here, they work in this hotel but its just a job like another, not a care in the world. The staff turnover must be quite high in this place. Also they seem unconnected, unrelated to eachother, sometimes you are not even sure that they know who actually works there or not.
