Fast check in and helpful operators. The rooms are adequate, essentials and comfortable and first of all clean and sanitized. The position is strategic, 1 min by walk to tower hill underground station and 5 minutes by walk to tower bridge or Liverpool street. A quiet zone of London far from the traffic and chaotic borough. I highly recommend for trip like mine (3 days on Christmas period)

We experienced great service from the moment we arrived at the Double Tree by Hilton Hotel London. The location of the hotel is fantastic. The rooms could do with an update and USB ports for phone charging. My parents had noise from construction or the elevator during their stay but liked their accessible room. My husband and I experienced noise that was easy to hear anytime someone walked by your room talking, or shouting on one occasion, however noise from outside the building or between rooms was next to nothing. I would stay at this hotel again, and recommend this hotel, as the staff were fantastic and the concierge was extremely helpful during our stay.

Perfect location, great building, great views, convenient car parking, close to tourist attractions, very enjoyable breakfast, nice staff, nice foyer to just chill out in. Loved the cookie on arrival and the nice cool beer from the bar

Check in process took a bit long and then got locked out of one of our rooms after breakfast which took some time to sort out. We also received two letters about paying for the car park - one before 7am and one before 9am. Felt very intrusive. Pity that the Savage Garden wasn’t open a little earlier in the day. Our rooms were supposed to be near to each other, but were originally located on the 7th and 2nd floors. However, they were able to move them next to each other after we reminded them.

Room Facility

As being Muslim I asked staff at breakfast for halal food and answer was not proper. When I asked for omelette in breakfast as they said its chargeable. Its strange???? I was never asked for payment for something which we want to eat due to religious faith and the supervisor asked to pay additional charges. I used to stat at Tower Hotel, Millennium but they never asked for extra payment!!

I stayed for one week in the hotel! The room was cosy and clean every day and every time I was back, I was happy! Working staff of the hotel made my stay so special!!!! I would like to thank some divine people of the hotel who made my stay so special! Murtaza - a person who makes you feel truly at home with all people in the restaurant by being so hospitable and caring, he is such a professional of what he is doing and I love people who work with their Heart and soul, so Murtaza is definitely one of them!!! So grateful for him!!!! I would like to thank Simona, the very first person who greats you with a shining smile and brilliant energy to make your ritual of breakfast so special!!! She was definitely supporting each day with her complete understanding to even be useful when the restaurant was just preparing to open!!! My gratitude to her is infinite!!! I was also impressed by the attitude of caring of Abdul Malik, I was really touched by it!!! The person with a golden heart who cares not only about the hotel’s reputation, but also about your impression of your staying!!! I am truly grateful for that!!! And of course, when you visit the hotel and see the the shining star at the reception, it means you are greeted by a brilliant person named by Heena, she is such a diamond, she impacted on my positive stay so much!!! She is unique and she is such a professional and such a nice person who is doing her best to make your stay super special!!!! Thanks to these people my stay was amazing and I recommend to visit this hotel!!! I will also be back!!! I really wish the management team to figure out calls from rooms easily! Calls from room never worked!!! So to get the info, I had to go down and ask the reception! It’s not a big deal, but anyway, it’s about creating comfort!!! And lifts!!! I wish the system with cards in the lifts work more flexible!!! Thank you!

Hotel location is really good. You can walk to the London Tower and London Bridge. And it is not too far from other turistic points if you´re into walking around. Room was pretty good too but a bit small. Good enough for solo travelers but I assume it would be a bit small for a couple. Breakfast was very good. It got a little crowed in the morning time, sometimes there were no tables available and the staff had to help. But other than that I really recomend the hotel.

Only few steps away from the property, super convenient. Circle and District tube line, easy access to main London attractions without having to change train. The cookie at check-in, it’s divine! I’ve asked for extras throughout my stay and staffs were all so kind to give it to me for free. I’ve requested for cutlery and extra drinking water, the housekeeping and room service were so fast to respond. The hotel building is just behind the Four Seasons hotel which gives it the exclusive vibes for the surrounding.

Very basic and cheap-ish furniture in the room for the price tag. Seriously need an upgrade. No help offered with the luggages both at check-in or check-out. It’s situated in the business area so it can be rather dead during the holidays. Not many convenient shops around or opened.

We thought the corridors and rooms could do with a bit of updating and painting - having stayed at Hampton by Hilton at Gatwick Airport the night before we found the rooms and decor more up to date and clean there than at the Double Tree by Hilton. The location was brilliant but for the price we paid we would have expected maybe breakfast included and more up to date room facilities. Lacked sockets and no USB sockets. We would stay again purely for the location but would look elsewhere first. Sorry

Good location close to underground stations and tower bridge. breakfast was good each day, busy but staff were polite and worked very quickly. Did not use the lobby bar but the area looked nice and open and well presented. Again not that we used them but there was a constant flow of taxis outside the hotel for guests.

Water pressure low, shower had a mind of its own, going hot and cold. Room could do with ceiling light, it’s quite gloomy and a coat hook would be handy. Housekeeping supervisor checked in on us one day and it was pointed out cups had not been changed, she returned with the housekeeper and she began to tell her off as she changed the cups. I don’t feel it was appropriate to have that conversation in front of quests was awkward for us stood watching as she was disciplined in our room.

This hotel hosts a lot of American business people, but the City of London worked well for a couple of tourists. Great neighborhood. Five-minute walk to the Tower Hill Underground station. Nearby, find a part of the ancient Roman wall that once surrounded "Londinium." Walk past the Tower of London - surrounded by a moat of flowers - to the pier to catch a river taxi, the Thames Clipper. Fun and convenient, you can use Oyster Cards. A short walk across the Tower Bridge to the South Bank and its river walk. Our room was small but easy to use with a well-thought-out design. For example, the desk doubles as a vanity. I appreciated the uncluttered minimalist aesthetic. Daily housekeeping helped us stay organized. The staff was super helpful. The beds were comfortable. We enjoyed the VIP lounge for breakfast or to grab a beverage on our way out. The rooftop lounge is cool. We were there for a week and really enjoyed our stay.

The "Savage Garden" rooftop bar is so popular it's fully booked a couple of weeks ahead and my kid, at 16, was too young to hang out there after 6 PM. On our last night, I had a delicious martini and enjoyed the beautiful view. Make reservations!
